Chapter 1 - "All Lives Are Equal In Value."

"They claim all lives are of equal value, but when it matters, they'll always choose the familiar over the unknown."

Is the quote above wrong? If you think so, consider reading the full chapter.

Now, let's put you in the shoes of a person who has to make the decision.

Say, there are two humans, the first one is a person you love/care about, let's name him/her "E1".

The second one, is a complete stranger, let's name him/her "E2".

Logically both of the humans are equal, E1 and E2 both are alive, their health is fine, haven't committed a single crime in their whole life, both of their age is also the same.

Now which person do 'You' choose?

Upon choosing one, you shall lose the other.

"Out of 1,000 people, approximately 900-950 are likely to choose the familiar loved one (E1), while only 50-100 might choose the stranger (E2)."

The above response is from 'ChatGPT'.

ChatGPT is an entity bound by no emotions, it has no arrogance, no pride. Thus it gave an honest answer based on research in psychology and moral decision-making, such as studies involving moral dilemmas.

Ironically enough, even the '50-100' is with the reason, "The chooser might have hatred or similar emotions towards E1"

Which cannot be accepted as i have already said, "the first one is a person you love/care about". So hatred and similar emotions don't exist in this scenario.

Which narrows the number even further, around '15-35'.

One thing to note is, "The people who come under the category of '900-950' are completely normal human beings."

And the humans under '50-100' are the abnormal ones, although the abnormality varies from 'might have hatred or grudge' to 'insane'.

Its very likely that the 'actual-abnormal' ones come under '15-35' and this abnormality starts at mentally unstable and ends at 'a worser state of mentally unstable' because a person in their right-mind will never abandon a loved one for a complete stranger.

Now, I am not writing this chapter or the upcoming chapters to prove myself some 'great dark manipulator' what i want to prove is "This is what we are."

We humans care about things that don't even physically exist.

"Feelings" Can anyone see those? You might see someone's angry expression but you can't see their 'anger', for instance: Some people get angry for you, they tell you not to do the wrong things, but is it really anger? No, it stems from love/care/kindness.

Some of you might have gotten offended by what is written in this chapter and are going ahead to leave a horrible review at this book but I just want to ask 'why?'

What is it that makes you offended? do you think its good to choose a complete stranger instead of a loved ones? Isn't that insulting your loved ones? Isn't that calling yourself 'mentally unstable' ?

The main question, "Are all lives of equal value?"

The answer is, "No, they are not." and its not me who puts the value tag, its 'you' and everyone else.

At the end of the day, "Humans are meant to be imperfect and that is what makes them perfect."

Now, is the quote above correct? I don't know and I am not going to try to find out anytime soon.

Because, "Being ignorant of some things" is sometimes "Being free of some things".
