Aileen wandered back into the room after shooing her Junior out of the tower.
Her petite figure let out a childish huff. Despite being in her late twenties she was an Association Executive, known to be the human dragon as well as the only user of spirit speech, a cheat like gift.
She looked into the room and saw a video that had been left to play.
"Honestly, that junior of mine never has any manners." She walked over and was about to turn it off.
However, her curiosity was piqued by why her junior had broken into the Tower of Heroes. Yun Seung-Ah was the vice guild leader of the number two guild in the world after all.
The screen displayed a boy with a gun firing off a light attribute bullet.
"Heh, I suppose someone like this would obviously interest someone on her level." Aileen chuckled before another character was displayed on the screen.
He was tall, slim and held a dagger in his hand. His eyes were tired and gloomy, but his movements were decisive and precise.
The boy pinned the arm down just as the bullet was fired, in his position he should've been hit as well… but for some reason instead of going for strength he kicked back without regard for landing, avoiding the light attribute bullet and giving a thumbs up.
Aileen chuckled before turning off the monitor with a smile.
He's more interesting than whoever that light attribute gunner is.

[Tuesday's combat training, labyrinth exploration.]
Inside a dark cave created by Cube, Chase Nayun and the rest of team 2 were making their way through.
Chase Nayun had this fierce aura about her that made everyone subconsciously take steps back.
Minori was sweating profusely as he hung back with the rest of team 2.
Why is she so pissed? Is… is it because I kicked her? It wasn't that hard but she did get sent flying.
"Psst, is it just me or is Chae Nayun a little…" Demian leaned over and whispered just as intimidated.
"No it's not just you." Rosen whispered back.
Minori nodded but then flinched when he saw Chae Nayun stop walking.
"Hey! Damage dealers, get over here! Let's get this over with already!" Chase Nayun yelled as enemies appeared in the dark.
The outburst made the three cadets jump and stumble into action, fighting their way through the cave.
She's so pissed!
The three thought as they tried their best not to irritate the chaebol even more.
Traps were avoided- no, destroyed wherever the team went, Chase Nayun seemed to be venting her anger on innocent objects.
When the team made it to the center of the cave there were 12 people.
"It's Nayun." A black haired girl came up all smiles, Yoo Yeonha.
Since Sunday, Minori's instincts have become sharper, probably due to enlightenment. Which is why right now he can tell Yoo Yeonha was full of sh*t.
Chae Nayun ignored her and walked to the gunner.
Is he why she's so grouchy?
After a short conversation Nayun let out a disdainful snort.
As witnesses to the conversation the whole of team 5 and team 2 stared at each other in silence.
Is this what rivalry is?

As today's training came to an end, Minori headed back to the dorms, on the way he bumped into Kim Suho who was making his way to the training centre.
Suho asked him to come train with him but Minori replied tersely and continued walking.
"I'll join you later. Your training until late at night again right?" Minori spoke casually as they were already friends.
"Of course, just make sure to actually show up." Kim Suho smirked.
"I might just decide not to." Minori sarcastically remarked before waving goodbye.
Once he made his way back into the dorms he took out a gold coin with engravings that resemble runes.
He looked at the clock on the wall [7:00:01]
Flicking it up he activated [The Prophet].
He felt the gold coin land in his hand, its body was sapping the warmth from his hands. He looked down at his closed fist before he opened his palm. The runes engravings on the coin were gone.
This was normal as only one edge of the coin had engravings, the other side was blank.
Minori looked around at his surroundings, everything was clear, not to his eyes, but in other ways. He could feel the air moving, hear the soft rustling of trees outside.
But in his eyes, the world was in shadow, faintly covered in shadow like night had arrived. The most eye catching thing was the creeping darkness at the edge of his vision. Well, not so much darkness as it's more a blanket that formed the night sky.
The coin as well as other things in the room glittered with silver light.
It's like a separate world… The stars are most likely a time limit. Everything is dyed as if in a constant state of night.
I hadn't noticed back in the museum since I was more concerned about dying, but everything of note seems to have moonlight shining on it.
Like this coin, I could tell it was important back when I received it from my grandfather. Even the prophet highlights it.
Other things of note…
Minori walked about the room, his footsteps like drops of water into a calm lake.
Even my footsteps create waves.
He found his black pendant, sitting on his desk, dyed a faint silver.
Inside was a picture, though almost completely faded. It didn't emit any light.
He then made his way to the window and found a setting sun but in the colours of the moon, its light silver as opposed to golden.
Just then, the creeping stars closed in on his vision and forced his eyes shut.
The moment He opened his eyes he found the coin he had flicked lying landing onto his open palm.
The clock displayed [7:00:02]
Only a second had passed.
So, experiencing the future up to 60 seconds within a single moment… How is it done? Does it map out the most probable scenario and throw me into it? Or does it actually show me the future.
Highlighting things that may be important is also very interesting. Does it do that by predicting what I use it for in the future? Or does it know the worth of things that I don't?
The most interesting thing is how the world looked. It was as though I had put on glasses for the first time. Everything was clear, not to my eyes but to my senses. I knew what every part of the room
…Kim Suho POV…
Steel colour sword qi wrapped around my blade as I stabbed at a concrete block, a thin blue barrier wrapped around it.
As soon as holes appeared in the barrier I thrust the tip of my sword into it, damaging the cube and pulling my sword out as quickly as I could.
This repetition continued until the time ran out, or until I failed to hit the block three consecutive times.
The sharp difficulty increase at level 10 resulted in my surprising failure.
Smiling a little at my improvement, I let out a sigh and wiped my brow.
Just how does he get past level 10?
The 'he' I referred to was, of course, my latest friend, Minori Nii.
Over the course of several weeks I got to know him. He was a scholarship student from Japan who transferred to Cube. It was pretty impressive considering only 5 Cadet's managed to get scholarships.
He's always tired looking and unenthusiastic, but I can tell he's a hard worker, and for what it's worth I respect it. He has a competitive spirit and tries his hardest to beat me whenever we spar.
From his skill I wouldn't be surprised if he had a sword related gift. Not that he'd ever beat me with one, especially since I have a few more years of experience over him.
Hearing the door open I looked back, expecting my sparring partner.
Minori Nii, as tired as ever, walked over to the sparring arena, gesturing for me to get a move on.
I chuckled.
For someone as gloomy as him, you'd never expect such a strong will to fight.
I stepped into the ring and held my practice sword up.
"Let's have a good fight." I smiled and gripped my blade.
"I hope you trip and fall." He gave a good natured taunt as per usual.
[Begin.]
The speaker chimed.
Not even a second later I swung my sword horizontally.
He never gives room to breathe.
I reminded myself as he parried the hit, already pining for a free shot.
I wouldn't let him do that though. I swung down to hit his shoulder.
His own weapon rose up to block, but since he had changed directions midway it only put him on the defensive.
He took a couple steps back and re-gripped his short sword.
"New strategy? Show me what you've got!" I grinned before dashing forward with another over arm attack.
Swinging down he dodged to the side and swung. I tried to retrieve my blade but noticed a weight pressing down on it.
He stepped on it?
By the time I raised my head to meet his gaze I saw a lackluster smirk with sweat dripping down from his chin.
I smirked back and ducked down, letting the blade pass over me before sweeping his legs and pointing my blade at his throat.
"That was amazing Minori, you even had an edge over me during that fight!" I spoke from genuine surprise.
"I'd rather hear curses coming from you." He chuckled before lying back.
"I shouldn't concentrate on your blade like that." He muttered flatly.
"Let's continue then." I sheathed my sword and smiled.
Maybe in a couple weeks I'll have to stop holding back in our spars.
