(POV MC)
I don't play gacha games or gamble all that often in general. I find the aspect of relying on luck instead of skill or knowledge of a game to be stupid in general when put into practice. I may take a few planned or calculated risks here and there, but to constantly gamble isn't my style.
But my friend, Ramna isn't me now, is he? He may not play often and he tends to lose pretty often, but the key thing here is him having more experience than me.
Losing can be a helpful source of info if you utilize your failure to see where you need improvement. My buddy may be as hardheaded as they come and never learns a thing in gambling, but I can learn from his experience to hopefully not fall for the same pitfalls.
There is a reason he loves gacha games among all the different fields he can gamble with. He has vented countless stories to me about how he spent tens of thousands trying to win a character he liked in a game using the money he got hunting.
'I wonder how many fiancée he has at this point anyway.' I thought as I laughed a bit, thinking at all those women coming out of the woodwork to marry my buddy.
"Ten draws will guarantee a decent reward." I said, alone in my room.
'That may be true, but being logical isn't the right time. I'll save up for another time. I need to know what I'm dealing with first before I can even think of saving up ten tickets.' I thought while staring at the system screen on the phone.
I may have said all that, but taking a little bit of risk in the right areas is a part of life.

I just hope my luck hasn't failed me today in my Gacha draws.

[Talent: Spiral Energy]: Spiral Power is the power of evolution. Spiral energy has near-limitless capabilities when used correctly. (Gurren Lagann)
[Item: Sefirah Castle]: The user will receive a perfect copy of Sefirah Castle. The Celestial Worthy of Heaven and Earth has no influence upon this item along with the Fool, True Creator & The God of Deceit. They can sense the item, but as a system-given item, it can't be used without the user's permission.
[System: Basic System Profile]: The system profile mimics the system interfaces of game characters. The user will be able to see their name, race, age, and power levels, and has a basic inventory feature. The basic system profile system can be upgraded with system coins to reach higher levels and obtain more features.
Spiral Energy sounds neat, but the entire thing is too vague for me to even know what I'll be getting myself into. No matter how powerful this talent might be it's useless if I don't know what I'm dealing with.
Sefirah Castle has the same problem as Spiral Energy, but it's even worse. The Celestial Worthy of Heaven and Earth, Fool, True Creator & The God of Deceit will notice me getting this item...
No way no matter how powerful I get choosing this item why would I choose an item that will bring unneeded attention to myself at this stage?
I doubt the powers it may offer me will be worth the risks. The donkey seemed to be luckier than me if these were the rewards I was getting.
The basic system profile seemed like a bootleg gamer system profile menu, but it was missing the level-up feature and other core features. Since it's a basic menu I know for a fact it's probably going to be missing many essential features its upgraded counterpart will have.
These rewards all seem terrible compared to what Donkey got...
At least Scumbag didn't use his ticket yet. Maybe his rewards will also be ass and we can suffer together for once.
The others didn't seem to complain so they probably got something good as well. I guess that leaves me with no choice. Like they say, it's better to choose the devil you know than the devil you don't. I just hope to god that the system's upgrade feature will be worth it.

I didn't feel any sort of change, but I tried to say system profile in my mind as a test. If it worked for all those other system novels then it might work for me.
Oh, it worked, but what am I even looking at...

Why does my age have mystery marks along with name and race?
What are those unknowns in my profile? How inadequate does this system even have to be at this point!? WHY THE HELL DOES IT SAY FEMBOY NEXT TO GENDER!
Where's the edit feature in this profile?
[Insufficient authority. The User needs to upgrade the Basic System Profile once to correct the appearance of the current model.]
Fuck you system, Scumbag was right you guys are terrible.
Where's the system upgrade feature...
*[Ding!]*
[Does the user wish to upgrade the Basic System Profile for 100,000 system coins?]
[Yes] [NO]
Well, I guess I'm stuck with this system till I can afford to leave it. I guess I'm finally starting to get the struggle to be poor with my current balance on the system being zero coins.
Hmm, my physical stats are pretty accurate, but my metaphysical ones like mana, soul, mind, luck, and intelligence are all hidden. I can just blame that on the system being a basic model than it being a shit system.
My speed was surprisingly accurate for a basic model, but it still had its faults. I was able to run from Sanborn County Park to San Francisco in about 2 hours give or take so the 28 mph checks out. But that's not my max speed; What did I expect anyway the system clearly marked this profile model as basic. It doesn't even include my max stats when buffed by my spells or the drugs I take to amplify it even further.
Tomorrow is going to be a long day, that's for sure.
