After people were teleported from the system store.Most were not sent back to their original position.
During the descent our planet Terra changed, it's size increased by 6 times but this caused almost all buildings to collapse.
Now landforms appeared from forests to deserts.
Fortunately the system did not dump us randomly there but instead put as in the [village settlements] it created.
But just because it is called a village doesn't mean it is one. Every person who was not in a place with a dungeon forming was transported here.
'This was an opportunity i missed in my last life.'
Previously i was stuck in the dungeon formation and was unable to be brought here.There are many benefits of being brought here.
This place is currently packed with over 50,000 people. This means it is easier to recruit people here.
Another thing is the class pillar at the center of the city but am nowhere near ready to use it.
Another thing is the city lord position. In my previous life i did not care for it and even if i did, my strength was not enough to acquire it.
I folded my fist and said
"No matter what i must obtain it but to do that i need strength"
Right now there are few monster's wandering around cause most of them are in dungeons
The dungeon at the school is about 60 kilometers from here. It's for far for my needs.
'I have to find a nearby dungeon and to do that i need Kevin's ability'
Each person was teleported to a place to live in and many are hiding right now.
It will take time for people to adapt. I shall use this time and rise before others can caught up.

Jake looked hesitant but not because he was scared. I could feel his reluctance to let go of his morals.
In our current generation it's not normal for a civilian to take a life but that sort of mindset will get us killed fast.
Even if the world has change in an instant, human values don't just vanish that why am giving Jake a chance.
I could have used the eternal vow to force him to do it but instead i want him to find that will to do it.
Jake being covered by armour prevented me from seeing the changes to his face, he finally came out of his dilemma and asked
"Boss, is this necessary"
I shook my head and said
"No it's not really necessary but it has to be done"
"That's cause if you don't have the resolve to do it now, what makes you think you will be to do it latter"
"The world has changed, i need a knight will to serve me no matter the cost because i know in future we will have to worry about more than monsters"
Jake know the implications of my words after the descent, once people got a taste of power and strength it brought.
If there is one thing the system has emphasized. It only values the strong.
From what John said, as people grow stronger a social difference will begin to rise.
Rankers, people who become stronger that the general public, Standing as pillars of humanity.
Another were city lords, people who rules over settlements created by the system. Some even had more influence than rankers.
In the beginning most rankers thought it was about managing a city, and thought of it as a distraction to their path to power.
But latter as cities got grow, people realised their other forms of power aside from physical and that was wealth the amount of money city lord had was staggering.
But right now such a thing is till far, i should focus on surviving and not get overconfident.
I may have an information advantage but others will surely caught up, i need to be strong when that happens and that includes my knights.
Jake had finally made a decision. He walked in front of the guy who struggled even more seeing Jake come in front of him but with Alex's fragment pinning him to the ground, there was no escape.
One of Jake's bladed whips slashed forward cutting into the guy's arm leaving a deep but not fatal cut.
He seemed to be screaming but Alex had covered his mouth with his ability. Tears and snot run down his face.
It didn't take long for the paralysis to kick in as he began to struggle less.
I said
"Give him another cut"
Without complaining another of Jake's bladed whips left another cut on the guy's thigh
His body stopped struggling much faster than before, seeing i smiled and said
"Now for the most important test, use the blood hardening effect"
Jake nodded and activated it.
Turnout Jake doesn't need to cut the poor guy again but could activate the poison that's already in his body.
Since the Blood hardening had taken full effect his body had stopped moving, no to be move exact he is dead.
It didn't take more than 10s to kill him.
Seeing this, it made me more eager to test the bone softening effect but decide not to.
I killed this guy because he had an ulterior motive.
I turned to the girl who had apparently wet herself seeing the guy die, so i said
"Let her go"
I felt both Jake and Alex relax after me saying that.
Just because the world is different doesn't mean i should be a monster as well plus Jake seemed to be at a breaking point.
Pushing him any further would lessen the trust between us.
The metal fragments flew back to Alex releasing the girl. She tried to stand despite having shaky legs and warbled to the door.
None of us assisted her cause it would make things worse, after all are the cause of her trauma.
But this world is truly unfair, the moment she turned the door open.
Before i could react both Jake and Alex had shot forward. Their doubled stats made it easier for them to react faster than normal.
Alex sent his metal fragments ahead at a fast speed.
It turns out that there was a wolf waiting by the door.When the door was half open it charged forward.
One could say this girl is quite lucky. Due to the strength of the wolf, the moment it hit the door she was sent flying out of its way.
But unfortunately for wolf, It had given Alex a direct view.
The metal fragments shot directly at it. One fragment pierced into its left eye while the others damaged its front hide.
This caused it to falter and howl painfully
"Awhooo"
It have Jake who was on the left side to attack it without it noticing.
.Six of Jake's bladed whips slashed through the air.
Wooosh
I could see Jake didn't have great control of them but since the wolf's left eye was destroyed it didn't see the attack coming.
But still 2 of the 6 missed the target.
The blades didn't do any great damage to it except for one deep cut. It wanted to lash out at Jake but more of Alex's armour fragments shot at it.
This prompted it to jump backwards avoiding them.
The wolf looked at them with fear in its eyes and growled
"grrrrrrrrrr"
I had finally caught up with a spear in my hands but It didn't attack like i had expected it to do.
It stared at us as if thinking of its chances of winning against us. We didn't attack it and instead looked at it.
The wolf did something i had not expected it. It turned to run away but unfortunately for it.
It had lost that chance the moment it was attacked by Jake. Since 4 of his blades injured it, 4 times the poison had entered its body.
Its body suddenly become sluggish, realising it had been poisoned it fastened its escape but the moment it took a step to the door
Its foreleg wobbled causing it to fall to the ground. No matter what it did, its body collapsed on its own.
Like a deflated balloon, all its bone structures softened.
It howled in extreme pain, I could tell since without the bones its breathing became irregular.
Just the sight of it creeped me out and not just me but both Alex and Jake. So i said
"Jake put it out of it misery"
He nodded and shot one of his bladed whips into it head. No resistance was met as the it pierced through the head all the way to the ground.

One of the worst things about the system is that after killing a monster, ones live doesn't rise instead they get soul essence.
To raise the level one must absorb this soul essence and the process is done manually by the person.
John spoke about it and said its slow, that's why rankers were respected. It was extremely hard to close the gap between them.
Jake suddenly turned to me with a smile and said
"Boss i think i can now stand for first knight now"
Hearing Jake, Alex's face dropped as he said
"Don't get cocky just because of a little poison"
"Sounds like someone's scared, maybe a taste of my poison will change your mind"
"Don't get your stupid tentacles near me"
Jake begun to chase Alex on the rooftop.
I decided not to bother them and instead turned to the girl on the ground.
There was something weird, the wolf attacked to early which caused the door to sent her away.
But from what i could tell it seemed like a patient hunter and knew when to attack so it's weird it missed its prey due to a mistake.
Something was going on with this girl. John said there are many weird people in this world.
