Within a certain forest lay the figure of a white-haired boy; the rays of the sun fell upon him, illuminating a beautiful and splendid figure; he looked simply beautiful; however, there was something that marred his beauty: the blood that covered his body, bathing him completely. His left arm was missing, and around him lay countless beasts torn to pieces. The boy panted intensely, struggling to breathe; he was extremely exhausted from the effort he had had to make hours before.
"Oh my God, what the hell is wrong with that damn flower?"
- ACCORDING TO THE ANALYSIS, THE FLUID THAT WAS THROWED AT US ATTRACTS BEASTS.
"I see; that's why they could see me despite being invisible, or rather, sense me through smell," he replied.
- IT WASN'T JUST BY THE SENSE OF SMELL THAT THEY DETECTED US; THAT FLUID EMITS A STRANGE AURA.
"Phew, they almost killed me, they kept appearing everywhere," he sighed in relief.
It all started when he came across a strange pink plant; it was obvious from afar that it was not a simple plant, as it had a face; it was more like a flower with a human face; that caught his attention a lot. When he got closer to analyze it, things got out of control; the flower had detected him, and that was where the nightmare began. The flower opened its mouth and threw a strange fluid that fell on their bodies; then it screamed in an extremely shrill way, and within a few minutes countless beasts appeared from all places: from rabbits to gigantic tigers; there were all kinds of beasts attacking from everywhere; it was crazy; he could barely defend himself from so many attacks; the wounds he received were countless, and the beasts quickly broke through his defenses again and again. The worst of all was that he could not escape; they had him flanked on all sides.
"Damn flower! Come on, call more beasts; dare you!" he challenged the plant.
In a corner, near a tree, lay the pink flower, covered in black thorns; its face was pink, seemingly beautiful, but he knew it wasn't. During the course of the battle, the flower had transformed into a hideous thing; its face changed, becoming ugly. He slowly approached it; he could feel the flower's fear; it was palpable in its expression. He had noticed that the flower had been releasing spores all over the area; according to the analysis made, it was a kind of aphrodisiac, with the only difference that its purpose was to control the mind. The flower, being tied to the earth, couldn't run, so it used other beasts to defend itself; using his eyes, he could see that beneath the earth, where the flower was planted, lay the remains of countless beasts; it was more than clear that the flower was eating them; he doubted that the poor beasts would have offered any resistance. When he got in front of the plant, he could see that its color changed from pink to a dark pink hue, and its trunk stiffened; it seemed to be entering some defensive mode; it was more than clear that the flower had intelligence; that much had become very clear to him. Another thing to note was that she was looking directly at him, even though he was invisible.
"What's wrong? Aren't you going to summon any more beasts?" he asked mockingly.
The reason he was talking to the plant was because he knew that it could talk; he was making fun of it, but he knew that with its intelligence it could hold a conversation. Another reason he believed that the flower could talk was because every time he said something to it, its face would change and frown slightly, as if it understood. The eyes of that thing were completely black; there was no light in them; they were a little scary; you could feel the evil in them. After a while of waiting, the flower finally chose to speak.
"Damn you, how dare you kill my toys?" he snapped.
"Oh, you finally deigned to speak, damn it," he replied sarcastically.
"Be quiet; don't think you can kill me so easily," replied the flower.
"Interesting; you are fluent in the human language; how did you learn it?" he asked curiously.
The flower was speaking in the common language of humans; that alone was already strange; that a beast spoke the human language caught his attention a lot. Another thing he had noticed was that it seemed to be buying time to attract more beasts from the area; unfortunately for him, it was not going to allow it; he was tired of killing so many beasts and was at his limit; the beasts he had fought were serious stuff; they were very powerful beasts; they could easily be categorized at the same level as that monstrous bird that lay in his bucket.
"Shut up," he ordered.
"You're so unsociable, but I must congratulate you; you screwed me over pretty badly, now it's time for me to screw you over," he replied with a mocking smile.
With a wave of his hand, he used the 'move' feature, and in an instant he pulled the flower out of the ground; a horrendous shriek was heard coming from that strange plant, but he didn't care; he was careful that no beast came near him while he pulled it out; he didn't want any more surprises; that plant, or rather that flower, would become part of his arsenal; it was more than clear that it possessed special powers. Once it was out of the ground, he could see its roots covered in blood; looking at its face, he could see its agony; it seemed to be crying tears of blood.
Krii! Krii! Krii!
"Oh, what happened to your arrogance?" he asked sarcastically.
The smile that the flower had at the beginning when it was fighting with the beasts and saw it outnumbered had disappeared; it had an evil laugh, but that laugh could not be seen anywhere at that moment; now all that was on its human face were tears of blood that flowed from its black eyes and pain; it had started to cry; its screams were extremely annoying.
"You thought I was going to attack you, didn't you? You thought I didn't know you were ready to melt me," he said superiorly.
"How did you know?" the flower asked in surprise.
"Your gaze gives you away, and your bloodlust is palpable," he replied confidently.
The flower had many tricks up its sleeve; it was more than clear that it was not going to let itself be killed easily; inside the flower's trunk, he could see that it was concentrating a strange energy; according to his analysis, whatever that energy was was extremely corrosive and lethal to living beings that came into contact with it; of course, he was not going to damage its trunk, so he chose to pull it out of the ground.
- OUR DETECTION HAS BEEN INTERRUPTED AGAIN.
"I know, let's get this over with," he replied decisively.
The flower had been somehow disrupting D's detection, and every time it did they received sneak attacks from beasts; that was how they managed to tear off his arm so easily; literally speaking, they didn't see it coming; everything happened so fast; when they realized it, the arm was no longer there and had been eaten; by now, that arm must have already been digested. Without wasting any time, he approached the flower using the 'move' feature, and in an extremely fast movement he touched it and stored it in the black cube.
He decided he wouldn't kill her; that wretch had caused him a lot of trouble; he would leave the job to D; of course, that didn't mean he wouldn't make her suffer; he would keep all her skills and knowledge, which would undoubtedly be very useful to him; after all, the damned thing was very intelligent; she had managed to harm him, something that had become difficult for other subjects these days. Once the flower disappeared inside the cube, seven beasts appeared behind him; they all seemed to be using some kind of stealth technique; it was impressive to see those beasts hide like that; another thing to keep in mind was that those beasts that had appeared had intelligence; they were given away by the way they moved and looked at him; they were looking for an opening to attack.
"Awesome; so there are more intelligent beasts."
There was no response from the beasts; they all remained silent, studying him; they were on top of the trees; they were very curious, but he was not going to give them the opportunity to attack him; he was still invisible, but they seemed to know exactly where he was.
"What the hell is going on with 'invisibility cloak'? It's not working!" he exclaimed as he looked at the seven beasts perched in the trees.
- THE CAUSE OF THE PROBLEM IS UNKNOWN.
"Even the 'hide' feature seems to be failing," he added, frustrated.
The powers he used to make himself invisible and hide his presence weren't working for some strange reason; after all, the beasts had attacked him with terrifying precision, as if they could see him perfectly; and those seven were staring at him; they knew where he was.
"Okay, fuckers; if they can see me, then I don't need to be invisible," he decided.
He turned off the powers he was using to hide himself and showed himself among the seven creatures before him; it was more than clear that they came exclusively to kill him; who would have thought that this forest would have such creatures? It was terrifying to think that these beings had been granted intelligence. Once he turned off the powers he used to hide himself, he stared at the seven and said:
"Come on, you bastards."
The seven individuals that were hidden among the trees had strange appearances; they were undoubtedly hyenas, but something to keep in mind is that hyenas do not stand on two legs and much less had two hands similar to those of humans; what I was witnessing was something unnatural, something that should not exist, but yet there they were.
"I've definitely seen a lot today," he muttered to himself.
Without wasting any time, he used 'wind impulse' and launched himself with everything he had towards the seven individuals, first towards the closest one; when he was close enough, he launched a wind slash at him, but the bastard dodged it, moving at a speed similar to his; it left him surprised; the other beasts, taking advantage of the moment, attacked him from the side; now that he was missing an arm, it was difficult to move, and he did not dare to heal his arm, since he had a bigger plan in mind; in short, he had to fight no matter what with the arm he had and win. He received the blow from the strange being; it stabbed him with its claws on the right side, while the others did the same on different fronts; in total he received six stab wounds; the seventh could not stab him since he was too far away. At that moment, one of the beasts tried to use its other hand to tear his neck, but he was not going to let him; he quickly placed a shield around his neck and blocked it; The beast's claws shattered when they touched his mana shield; a smile spread across his face at that moment; the other five tried to do the same, but ended up the same way, with their claws shattered; every time they tried to tear him apart, he placed a shield right in the place they were trying to attack; the bastards were fast; he had to give them credit; they had excellent combat skills; they had impressed him. Seconds later the seventh joined; he was charging with tremendous speed; he seemed to want to pierce him; he could see his mana concentrated in his left hand; it was more than clear that he was aiming for his head; it was clear that he wanted to end the fight quickly; he let him get close; the other six didn't stay still; they attacked him with relentless attacks; they tried to occupy his mind so that the one charging towards him could land a fatal blow, but the game was already coming to an end; they weren't the only ones looking to kill their prey.
"Come," he taunted them.
He opened gaps in their defense; the first attacks that managed to connect with him he deliberately let through; after all, he wanted to test their skills and battle prowess, but since things were getting ugly, he couldn't afford to continue messing around with them; so he removed the shields covering his body; and they, upon noticing that he had removed the shields, immediately launched themselves like bullets towards him; all seven of them stabbed his body at the same time, or so it must have happened; the hands and claws they used to touch his body were reduced to small pieces, and it wasn't just their hands; their bodies also received a bit of the 'cut' characteristic; he could see the expressions of the seven surprised beasts in detail; they couldn't react in time to his attack; their bodies fell to the ground in mincemeat.
"Ugh, how scary, I don't want to face myself," he joked.
On the ground lay small pieces of the bodies of the seven beasts; he did not know what else was hidden in these creatures, but that no longer mattered, as they were reduced to small pieces.
"Idiots, what does it matter if you corner me? If you can't touch me, you can't kill me," he said with satisfaction.
Applying the 'cut' feature to his body was a nearly impenetrable form of defense; well, calling it a form of defense was an understatement; literally speaking, he could defend and attack at the same time; his opponents would be stumped and wouldn't even know what killed them; keeping that feature working automatically wasn't a very good idea; the consumption of life energy was massive, that's why he didn't use it often; he kept it as an ace up his sleeve.
"Oh, not again," she lamented.
The bodies of the seven beasts were not the only things that the 'slash' characteristic destroyed; his clothes were torn into small squares and he was left naked in an instant; this was another reason why he did not want to use this trump card; it was a double-edged sword.
- DON'T WORRY; I'LL TAKE CARE OF IT.
"What are you going to do?" he asked confused.
As if by magic, the small pieces of clothing that were lying scattered on the ground began to gather in one place, and the small pieces began to join together and form the suit again; it was an incredible sight.
"I had forgotten," he exclaimed in surprise.
The suit was successfully repaired; it was as good as new; he had forgotten that he could literally repair anything. Without wasting any time, he put the suit that had been repaired back on; it was a pity that in order to use 'cut' automatically he had to be naked every time. Without wasting any time, he began to pick up the corpses he had left on the ground; they easily exceeded a hundred; he had to extract the skills from them; it took him a while to find all the beasts he had killed; after all, most of the beasts had been torn into little pieces, making it difficult to find and identify them. After he finished putting them all into the bucket, he immediately headed back to the elven kingdom using 'wind drive'.
'They left me pretty badly,' he thought as he examined his body.
I had definitely been beaten up, but this was on purpose; after all, I had a plan in mind that required me to be hurt; it should be noted that at this moment I didn't feel anything despite being injured; 'heart of ice' was nullifying the pain, it could easily be healed using 'repairer'.
"I just have to let those two rats see me hurt, and they will undoubtedly pass the information to their superiors," he concluded with an evil smile.
