I was speechless. Apparently, I had stopped my body from dying. Well, to be more exact, the mechanical voice did. The first thing that came into my range of vision was the hideous figure of a beast. That thing could not be called an animal. I mean, how could I call such a hideous thing an animal? I could see that thing's tongue digging into my insides, slowly sucking my blood and nutrients from my body. The beast's body was sturdy, and I knew in advance that it was going to be extremely tough to kill. The only way I could think of to kill it was by draining its life energy. Every injury caused by that thing was immediately healed by the 'repair' characteristic. This was already a fight of attrition and I knew I wasn't going to lose it unless that thing crushed my head with its massive paws.
