Chereads / Emptiness - Naruto SI / Chapter 2 - Lane of Freedom

Chapter 2 - Lane of Freedom

If there's nothing to do, why not live freely,

dance to the tune or rhythm I wish

For Radhe and Krishna pulled across the middle

to the handle I couldn't dish

For the love and romance I threw away

For the sports and games I threw in vain,

For I lived for humanity and got burned again,

So now I live for my own pace.

Whether Kapil accepts or denies me

Whether gods or not disappointed in me

I've done my best to be free

Maybe I'm a liar, cause that's a lie b

in denial about what I See

in the lack of humanity

in the lack of...humanity.

Grittiness and blood from another lost spar with Choji but I can't get mad with seeing the concern on his face. He is the one kid I don't mind losing to, the rest are arrogant or destructive in one way or another.

I even lost to the 7 year old Sakura at one point. Getting noticed as a genius that's up and coming is not something that seems wise to me.

On the flipside, being approached by root but rejecting out of fear did not turn Danzo into my enemy. For all he had to do is promise another kid "extra" training.

Of course, the reason why everyone is so excited to beat me is because I got 1st place on the leaf chakra control exercise thanks to tree climbing I knew beforehand. And Karma decided to bitch slap my...smugness.

Now in the fight I'm starting to realize just how ridiculous this ninja stuff really is. Even Naruto was able to develop brawler like instincts due to sheer momentum and Will. I personally have the Will to protect all future loved ones from the wrath that is Life but does that include giving up on my vices and pleasures as well?

The comics I read, the relaxation its fruits bore, the details of fights and blood and gore.

The freestyle I spiel, the poetry I reveal, before I keel over and kneel.

To Death and whatever it's Heel.

To Give Up the Attachments that Heal. That make me Live Today for Real.

I had favorite stories like the fanfiction: The Wind Calamity that I simply couldn't give up. But it feels like being forced to live as a ninja will be the only substitute I have.

But perhaps that will be the Final Bit of Living needed to Realize that Pleasure Kills and doesn't Heal.

And it took me being cornered, that's for real.

To See that Waiting for Life isn't...Real.

That's what pleasure is to Deal.

To Wait, until you are Killed.

And Instead of being a Well-Mannered Beast, perhaps I can carve out a lane of Freedom that's for real.

End.
