"It's only the first day… how did this happen already"
,"I should have set camp before night came"
*Meruem says to himself*
, "I know you're behind me".
An unholy voice from the woods emerges,
it's owner towering over meurum
he has adapted the color of the forest but his looks more like an eldritch horror something that should have never been born,
it is not calm like the forest but raging like the rivers flowing destroying rocks and ships and anything in it path,
Towering above our hero it remarks:
"ahh... sharp senses you have got ,maybe you're different….. not really I don't really know is…it..is..it..?"
*He remarks while scratching himself his skin bleeding*
"all past ones I thought so too they keep coming and going from the looks of it,
it seems there are many of you, so many in fact that's it's weird,
it's weird how you are all so weak.
It's strange how humans cower before darkness without even knowing what's beneath.
They seem to fear the unknown.
They seem to fear only the concept of what could be behind the darkness.
The fear of chance is such a very silly one.
If only they could see what truly lies within the darkness; they would be much more afraid."
meruem responded "well I will tell you myself I am different"
*preparing his sword in an attack position*
*he attacked with speed and precision and he missed*
he said to himself
"I can't have missed the attack, it seemed like it went though him , this never happens my attacks have always landed"
The monster responded
"with this pathetic attack. This is mere childs play , dodging it was too easy"
our protagonist goes into attack position again thinking:
'this may have just been a fluke a one time thing maybe'
ready to finish the monster off and before the monster can react he attacks
the look of surprise and utter shock can't leave his face
The monster raises his eyes and closes them a bit his mouth makes a slight angle as if he is about to laugh his expression says it all…..the sword broke
His heart beating fast,
his hands shaking his grip on the sword getting weaker and weaker
his eyes turning from sharp to diluted and lifeless
all his courage and everything be done so far all of it was useless when true power true FEAR
FEAR like he never felt before,
from the beginning he was supposed to make monsters fear not the opposite.
he thought to himself 'whats happening here?
This was never supposed to happen I have to do what I have to do but how can I?
while I am so weak?'
he wanted to fight ,
have an honorable warriors death but the journey just began
,he couldn't leave his dreams like that and duty is more important than honur in some cases.
the voice said "RUN! RUN FAST! YOU CAN'T WIN! YOU HAVE TO RUN!"
,meurum hesitated for split second
but he had to run.
he tucked tail and fled but the monster for some reason didn't follow,
meurum thought of it as a blessing but the truth be told it feared the malice of this world
those who are hiding the the shadows of this world waiting for the chance to strike the monster was scared
he wanted to say until I meet you again but he knew that meurum will die before he can meet him again.
Meruem says to himself:
'how? How can this happen, I was the light of the village how?
I was the hope I am the one who's supposed to fix all this ,for gods sake.
Was the first monster I meet this strong was all my training all those years for nothing I now understand why people don't leave.'
He left discovering the world bit by bit thanks to his training his running was silent
no noise made
he started collecting resources to make camp
but before making camp deep in the forest just behind the mountains he saw smoke and where there's smoke there's fire.
