In an entrance to a rift in the heart of the city a battle was taking place but it felt more like a man slaughter,as men fell like trees and blood covered the earth like puddles of water after rain, a boy named xender not up to his twenties fought for his life, as he watched his comrades die at the hands of the beast, his heart racing and his mind focused on surviving.At last he was the last man left as he was starting to realise that he was not making it out of their alive but still he fought but his hope was quickly curshed by a rock type beast which with one attack pounded him into the ground as he screamed at the top of his lungs no I can't I can't I can't die here,as the beast continued to pound him into the ground,the pain was excruciating, why,he said, why do I have to die for something I know nothing about,why did they have to sell me away why!!!, as his eyes closed slowly shut.
Cadet cadet cadet Yung,as a high ranked officer shouted his name he woke up in hospital to the sight of the officer how is this possible he said in his mind, the officer said my name is lieutenant Philip Bright and I'm a second rank super soldier, as xender took a good look at the officer,he said in his mind,this guy isn't bluffing his aura is ridiculous strong and he replied what do you want with me,as lieutenant bright replied, you were part of the squad that was sent to handle the rift that appeared in the middle of the city,everyone of your squad mates were killed but some how you survived and that wasn't even the craziest part,when your body was found you were barely injured but the amount of blood all over you suggested that you obtain serious if not fatal injuries but you where still alive so we decided to run a body scan but the healer we called said your heart wasn't even beating so I came to realise that even despite your heart wasn't beating something was keeping your life force active and that something is an abnormally but the kind of power potential that abnormally gave you was incredible so I have a proposition for you, what proposition as a replied with a suspecting voice as I try to move my arms but to my surprise they chained to my hospital bed,you see cadet there was something we couldn't understand,the lieutenant said, we weren't so sure you would agree to the proposition so for everyone's safety we had how cuffed so are you willing to listen or do we have to do it the hard way, I stopped and talked to myself even if I had some new power inside me now,I highly doubt that it would be enough to fight this guy and that is even if I could activate them so I said, I'm listening,good you see your squad was one of the few mishaps that has happened throughout the rift battles and to prevent any more mishaps like that the military has decided to create a special task force with some of the most special and skilled soldiers that we got this task force will be led by me and even though most of the soldiers my not be high ranked but each and everyone of them have unique skills and abilities and your new abilities makes you a suitable candidate for this new task force so you see you can have a spot on this new squad and i will make sure no military personnel be it low or high ranked will no about your situation and you will be free to go about your life freely so what do you say, right then I knew that I was screwed either way but If I accept I could at least get a chance to escape so I agreed excellent,lieutenant Bright said,now let's get you out of does shackles and let me take you to meet your new team mates and one more thing cadet,he said,the second you go rouge you will be considered a threat and you know fully well how the military deals with threats as I replied in a frightened voice yes sir,good he replied,follow my orders to the end and you will have no problems,with a face more afraid than I was when I was been beat to death by does beast,I knew things were about to get much worse.
