After the President speech.
I shook the President's hand in front of the camera and appealed our friendly relationship between the planet.
I'm here as an individual, but I'm still treated as a representative of Maldea.
Finally, time for my final speech came up.
As the first alien, they wanted me to speak to the entire population of Earth.
Nervously, I managed to focus my eyes on the camera.
"Dear Earthlings. I was born on a planet called Maldea, and I am a Maldeaan. From your point of view, I think it makes me an alien. From now on, as an ambassador, I will be visiting this planet many times. I believe the interaction between Maldea and Earth will bring a better future for both planets. I would like to do my best, too."
I finished my speech and gave a small bow.
Then I ran to the side of the stage to get away from the crowd.
I am going to interact with this planet, Earth, all by myself.
Earth has a rich culture, but it is a planet with many problems such as conflict and pollution.
Maldea has a great civilization, but it's exclusive, has little interest in entertainment, and is a bit boring.
I do want to make both of them into planet that they can like each other more.
Well, I'm not sure how much I can do on my own.
I've been given such a strange job.
I would like to live my life as Lina Marderita in a positive way.
And, well, I'd like to go to Japan, too.
After the press conference.
I went back to my room and started up my computer to check the Internet.
The internet was filled with talk about the press conference.
[Is that an alien?]

[She did her best to greet the audience with a lot of nervousness.]
[Almost like a human. She looks like an elf.]
[Lol, The president shaking hands with a girl who looks like a middle schooler.]
[Where did that girl come from? Anyway, Didn't the US government succesfully forge an aliens?]
[No. I've been analyzing the video, and it seems that the magic we saw wasn't made up like a CG movie or a magic show.]
[So she' s a real alien. And real magic?]
[That's what the president says. If it's not true, there will be a huge riot.]
[Well, I guess I should believe it.]
[Honestly, I don't know what to believe. What's going to happen.]
[Magic may spread on Earth.]
[Will I be able to use it?]

[Welcome to Earth, Lina Marderita!]
Many people were skeptical, but gradually more and more people were in a welcoming mood.
Apparently, I've become a global celebrity in a single day.
Oh well, I've fulfilled the part of the purpose of this visit to Earth.
I handed over the magic stone, got a sample of the game, and greeted everyone.
I think that's good enough.
I'm not in the mood to go to Japan yet, so I guess I'll go home now.
After a short break, I went to greet the government people.
The U.S. side suggested that I greet people in various places and make rounds, but it was indeed a tough job.
I mean, I want to go home and play the game first.
I was given a set of video games, a monitor, and a power supply.
Pack it into the compression bag so I can carry it lightly.
"Well, I must be leaving now."
When I touch the device on my arm, it activates the warp.
The light enveloped my body, and I disappeared from the earth.
The next thing I knew, I was in the warp room of the Magic Institute.
Apparently, I've properly returned to the planet Maldea.
The woman in white coat seemed to have been doing research all the time in this room.
When she noticed me, she stood up and came closer to me.
"Hello, you're back. How was your trip to Earth?"
"Yes. It was hard work, but it turned out to be a very interesting planet."
When I answered with a smile, she opened her eyes astonishingly.
"Well. How can you go to a barbaric planet and come back with a calm and composed face? You're pretty tough, aren't you?"
"Ha haha"
After exchanging a few words with the researcher, I left the lab.
As I walked down the aisle, the office staff looked back at me.
"Hey, that girl doesn't look familiar."
"Her name is Lina Marderita. She's interacting with Earth by herself"
"What? Really, is she a freak?"
"It's unthinkable to go to a barbaric planet alone."
The girls among the staff seemed to be gossiping about me.
In this case, let's not worry about it.
I decided to leave the institute and return to my parents' home via the warp station.
"I'm home."
I took off my shoes at the front door as usual and went inside, where my mother came out with a dazed look on her face.
"Oh, Lina. Are you back already? How was Earth?"
"It was fun"
"Yeah. I hope so. What's with that package?"
My mother's eyes widened in surprise when she saw the game console I took out of my bag.
"It's a piece of Earth's entertainment. I'll inspect it and put it in my room"
"Yeah. What do you mean? You're letting that thing in the house?"
"It's in my room, it's fine!"
I threw my luggage into my room.
Then I lock up the room and set up the game.
I got a lot of batteries from the U.S., so I can plug them in and get electricity.
In order to actually sell them in Mardea, though, I'd have to make them magically electrified.
Let's leave it for today.
"Fufufu~"
Then, I immersed myself in playing video games until my mother got mad at me.
Because even though I loved Final Fantasia, I'd only played up to 6.
I died in 1995, you know.
If a remake of 7 was suddenly released, people would start playing it.
Earth's game is really fun.
Then a few days, maybe two weeks passed.
I have inspected… and thoroughly enjoyed the appeal of Earth's newest game.
After that, I sent a magical transmission to the Ministry of Magic in Mardea.
It's a formal job, and I have to inform the higher-ups about it.
"I gave the earth a magic stone and they gave me an entertainment instrument. I've been making public appearances with the world leaders over there to promote our exchange."
That's what I'm reporting.
The director said, "Oh, really? Do whatever you want then." or something like that.
Well… It's laissez-faire, isn't it?
Yeah. I think I'll do whatever I want.
As usual, all communications from Earth to Maldea are addressed to me.
I and America were in daily contact with each other.
At this point, I'm getting used to it, whether it's the government or not.
They told me that the magic stones and shrink boxes were selling like hotcakes, so they wanted me to bring as many as I could.
At this rate, it seems that the value of this product has been firmly established on the earth.
However, there is a lot of work to be done.
We have said that we will lead each other's planet to a better world through trade.
Yeah. It's too grandiose, but I have two general goals.
One.
To export Mardea's magic products to the earth and make the planet earth a little more convenient, eco-friendly and safe.
Two.
Importing fun earthly entertainment to Maldea, to bring a little more smiles to people's faces, I guess.
It's a big deal, though.
Well, I simply want to make the world a place where we can all play games and such in peace.
It's all about my self-interest.
Also, I'm only interacting with the US right now.
It's not good to let one country monopolize the magic stones, so I have to nail that down as well.
I also want to interact with my hometown, Japan.
Because one of my goals is to meet my parents from my previous life.
But I couldn't say, "I'm an ex-Japanese and I want to go to Japan.
The only way is to create a natural flow toward Japan in the form of diplomatic relations.
It sounds like a lot of work, but it looks like I' ll have to proceed with my interactions with Earth step by step.
"Mom, I'm going on a business trip tomorrow"
"Oh, are you going back to Earth? Maybe two days?"
When I mentioned this to my mother, she asked me in a light-hearted way.
"No," I said. I think it's going to be a little longer this time.
The next visit going to be a serious one.
