All along, the soothing feeling that Agra had been experiencing had somewhat originated from the minotaur. The only feeling that could make all the pain and the headache he was experiencing to go away.
It made him wonder if the minotaur was the origin of his torment at the first place. After all, today wasn't the only day he had felt like this. This had been going on for a full month, and it all started the night of his seventeen birthday, which was just a month ago.
Ever since, Agra had been seeing and experiencing things that could only be explained as mythical and out of the fantasy world.
Sometimes he could see the angels, full of glory flying around the skies. Sometimes he could see a one horn horse with wings flying around, and sometimes he could even see the dragons fighting in the sky.
Other times he could just be holding his phone in the hand and it would mysteriously start charging without being plugged. And sometimes he could see his own shadows moving about, more like it hard the life of its own.
Surprising though, this were only visible on his eyes. Nobody else could see them and for the past month, he had felt like he didn't belong among the humans. Like he was the outsider and the world was trying to tell him that.
Unluckily though, he couldn't live to understand the full meaning of this. The pain he was experiencing was overwhelming and the life was seeping out of him quick. His breathing was fading and his heartbeat was diming with the next beat.
His vision was blurring as his eyelids were growing heavy and pulling themselves shut. And soon, everything went silent as his breathing had stopped and his heartbeat had gone complete mute.
With the life completely drained out of him, the minotaur twisted its head and Agra's lifeless body was flung to the side and sent skidding across the floor.
Proudly and as if its mission here was completed, it started walking away towards the exist of the construction and return to nobody knows where.
But just after it took it's twentieth step, a strong familiar energy suddenly hit its back that forced it to turn around towards the dead Agra with a surprised expression.
It was sure that its job was done, killing Agra, and yet, right in front of its own eyes, something of complete impossibility happened.
Agra's dead body mysteriously rose from the ground like some kind of a zombie in a apocalypse movies. His eyes were completely dark black, like some ocean of a shadow, with no sign of life and a single pixel of white to be seen around.
As he got to his footing, unconsciously, a dark black shadows mixed with a blueish hue suddenly erupted from the base of his legs, swelled around and covered his entire body.
This whole took about five seconds and the blueish shadows returned back to the floor, but what was left standing wasn't the previous injured and dead Agra.
All the wounds around his body had disappeared. And his face seemed more unnatural.
He had this strange pennywise smile on his face that send the goosebumps to the eyes of any watcher. And he had this blueish molten like blue crystal aline from the base of his eyelids and ended to the same level as his nose, making it to look more like the tear drops.
That wasn't the on changes around him though.
Around his hands, Agra could be seen wearing the ancient fingerless battle gauntlets, dark black in color with the mirror polished surface that seemed to reflect the world around him.
The gauntlets were the most beautiful thing anyone had ever encountered and It seemed more like it was absorbing the light around it to amplify its beauty, and it also had this blueish lines running around it that seemed to be full of electric currents.
"Arrrgghhh!" The minotaur gritted it's teeth in anger while brushing its hoves on the floor.
What was supposed to the an easy task had taken a big turn and this kind of made it look annoying, especially now that it seemed to have been compelled to complete the task before getting out of this place.
It didn't hesitate to bend its head downwards and pointed its sharp horns at Agra's direction as it started charging towards him.
Its speed was great and impressive, bullet besting in fact, but Agra's unconscious body didn't seemed to be brothered by this.
The blueish shadows that were swelling beneath his feet suddenly moved forward and covered the entire of his front like a blanket. And the moment the minotaur stepped on the blueish shadows, it suddenly started slowing down.
It was more like the time around the shadow-covering area had been slowed down, but the Minotaurs speed was still great and empressive enough, and of course inhumane.
It took about a second to cover the distance between the two and its horns were soon to pierce Agra's unconscious body again, who hadn't flinched even a single time ever since the minotaur started charging to his direction.
Intact, the chilly smile on his face brightened, and when the minotaur got close enough, he grabbed its horn while jumping up and at the same time performing a front flip.
With his hands gripped at the horns tight, Agra used the momentum to lift the minotaur to the air and slammed it on the ground, right in front of him, with the shock wave vibrating all through the construction the moment the impact happened.
The shadows around didn't wast any time as it started covering the Minotaurs entire body, leaving just the head, and binded it to the ground.
They looked stretchy, and no matter how much it struggled to break free, even with its gigantic raw power, it just couldn't.
On the other side, Agra slowly walked towards the minotaur, slowly and as if he had all the time he need in this world, and when he got close enough, the shadows moved away around the Minotaur's chest as Agra clenched his fists tight, the gauntlets on his hands displaying just the two section far end of his fingers.
He raised his right shoulder up while pulling his elbow backwards with the muscles around his arm tensing. And with all the strength he could gathered, Agra punched the minotaur in the chest, the impact making the entire construction to vibrated as his hand had just created a hole on the Minotaur's chest.
He didn't pull his hand out right away though. Instead, the blueish lines around the gauntlet started to brighten, then the minotaur started to vibrated while shaking vigorously on the ground as if it was being electricuted.
The shadows binding it on the ground started moving away with the smoke emitting all around the Minotaur's body, and soon enough, the minotaur became drained and petrified, life long drained out of it.
And noticing that the almighty minotaur had been defeated, Agra's unconscious body crushed back on the floor with the smile on his face fading, the blue tear droplets on his face disappearing with his eyelids tightening.
The gauntlets on his hands started vanishing and Agra was left crashed on top of the minotaur with his right hand still stuck on the hole created by his fist on the Minotaur's chest.
