My name is Azrael Veyrin. Once, I was just a student living an ordinary life in a small county. I had a modest home, a loving wife, four wonderful children, and a good source of income. Life was simple yet fulfilling. At the age of 87, I passed away—or at least, that's what I thought at the time. What came next was beyond anything I could have imagined.
I was reborn in a new world, a place called Akshak. When I first arrived, there was nothing here. No life, no beings, just an endless, barren landscape. I was completely alone. But one day, eleven other beings appeared. Each was unlike anything I'd ever seen. Some resembled giant cockroaches with humanoid shapes and exoskeletons. Others looked like elves—beautiful, regal, and ethereal. A few resembled ordinary humans, but their presence carried an otherworldly air. Among them was a dragon, its scales shimmering like gemstones, exuding raw power and majesty.
These beings began creating life in this empty world. Together, they brought forth new creatures and shaped the land. They divided the heavens into eleven realms, each named after its creator. For example, the dragon's realm was called the Paradise of Dragons, a breathtaking expanse of towering peaks and glistening rivers.
As for me, I lacked the power to create life. Instead, I wandered this new world, forming bonds with dragons and other creatures as a mortal might. Yet, despite the friendships I made, this world never truly felt like home. Something about it just didn't resonate with me.
The eleven gods who shaped this world believed they were the supreme beings, unaware of my existence. I stayed hidden, observing them from the shadows. I had no desire to confront or interact with them. To them, the idea of another god existing was inconceivable.
I was, however, deeply fascinated by the eleven heavens they had crafted. Each was a masterpiece, a reflection of its creator's unique vision and power. I spent countless years exploring these realms, marveling at their beauty and complexity.
But then, everything changed. Approximately 576.4 billion years after my rebirth, the gods discovered the truth: I was the first being of this world, predating even them. When they realized this, they saw me as a threat. For 45 million years, they searched for me, driven by a sinister plan to absorb my essence and increase their own power.
They attacked me while I was asleep, sparking a catastrophic battle that lasted 100,000 years. In the end, only one god remained: me. I absorbed the powers of the eleven fallen gods along with their heavens, becoming the sole deity of this world.
In the aftermath of this battle, I discovered something extraordinary: the Origin Core of this world. When I touched it, I learned shocking truths about my past and the nature of existence itself.
The most startling revelation was that Earth, the world I came from, had once been part of this very world. In its early stages, this world created life from a single cell, which eventually evolved into humans. This was a natural process. When I died on Earth, my soul was stored by this world, along with millions of others. It waited for a worthy soul to carry out its will, and it chose me to become the first life form of its rebirth.
Earth was destroyed in the process of creating a better world, molded by the will of this realm. Afterward, it created the eleven other gods, each with a unique purpose. Because I was part of this world, I was able to interact with its Origin Core and gain unparalleled knowledge about the cosmos and realms beyond this one.
After absorbing the Origin Core, I began traveling through the void, seeking new worlds. My purpose was clear: to find other Origin Cores, absorb their power, and create a realm of my own design.
And now, here I am, in a new world, ready to uncover its secrets and shape its destiny.
