"I can't tell for sure how long you've been out, but from the position of the moon, it's certainly mid night already" her cold voice and tone made the simple answer look dreadful.

"hmm" Kael helped himself more with the water as his body aches from the strain of using his new bloodline, "you don't happen to have anything to eat right?"

the words didn't fly off his lips completely before a stale bread came flying his way, luckily for him, he got great reflex.

"you don't have to be afraid of me Lady, after all I saved your life. I already told you I'm no demon" Kael commented while helping himself to the bread.

the lady shot him a questioning gaze but remain silent, sticking woods into the burning furnace she set to help keep Kael warm when he was unconscious.

"I have a question to ask you though, mind telling me a name to call you. I don't like his young lady I keep saying anytime I want to address you"

her brow frow even more when she heard Kael words, after a short silence she decided to tell him her name. "Lyra, it's Lyra and I wonder how you forgot about it when ..." she stop and said no further.

Kael wasn't clueless to understand what she wanted to say, after all this body had reaction to her when he saw her earlier in that terrible state.

it obvious they must have been aquatinted one way or the other, if his assumption were wrong, they most likely have a bit of an history together.

kael took a mental note as he continued to gulp down his meal. "I know you have a lot of questions about me and who I am, there is no need pretending you haven't found out already"

Lyra nodded her head in affirmation, she already found out this person isn't the Kael she knew. that sweet little boy would be anything else but this, if she hadn't been saved by him, she isn't sure she wouldn't have killed him already

"my real name is name is Noel Oscar, the illegitimate son of the Oscar family"

Lyra stumble back in fear when she heard that name, her emotionless eyes showed deep hint of fear and dread.

kael was taken aback by her reaction, the terror in her wasn't concealed at all. every fiber of her body tense up
