Dark poems

Do you hear that? 

The whirring of the furnace. The air moving through the building. Your heart thumping in a rhythmic beat. 

Bud-ump, bud-ump. 

Do you see that? 

Right there in the corner of your view. Dark and looming non moving. 

Do you feel that? 

The cold creeping into your mind. Calm. Quick. The fuzz growing, starting in the back spreading to the forefront and your eyes growing heavy. 

Feeling groggy? 

That's just Tommy. He wants to say hi. Do you see that? 

Dark and looming non moving. You look directly and he's gone. But look out of your side view and he's creeping. 

He's scared. 

But why? 

Should you be too? 

It's dark. 

Why is it dark? 

The fuzz maybe. 

Do you hear that? 

The whirring of the furnace, the beating rhythmically 

Bud-ump, bud-ump. 

The wringing. It's low growing slow .

Wheres Tommy? 

Where'd he go? 

Do you feel that? 

The cold fingers wrapping around your neck. Twisted ,broken, dark and sharp. Cold breath on your neck. 

Do you hear that? 

Rhythmic and soothing.
