In this vast world, there was a beautiful kingdom hidden among the mountains, called "Mirasia." No humans knew of its existence, and it was home to peaceful beings, including demons and other creatures. The kingdom was ruled by a just king named "Aldrik," who despised injustice. His wife, "Elythia," and they had two children: the crown prince "Leonard," a handsome demon prince, and their daughter, the princess "Eliana," who had crimson eyes and beautiful brown hair. The kingdom lived in peace.
However, one day, some humans ventured into the mountains and, by chance, discovered the peaceful kingdom. Upon seeing the creatures, they screamed:
"Monsters! Monsters!"
The humans spread the word about the kingdom. The humans feared the demons, and the demons feared the humans. This led to a great war, which was led by King Aldrik himself. He had about five thousand soldiers, while the humans had a much larger army of around sixty thousand. Despite the demons' strength, the humans defeated them. Crown Prince Leonard could not bear the defeat and gathered only a thousand soldiers to fight the humans.
With his power, Leonard managed to kill half of them, but the humans, with their superior numbers and stronger weapons, managed to kill Leonard and his soldiers.
The humans took over the kingdom, killing the queen and the princess, and buried the royal family in a mountain at the edge of the kingdom, engraving their family emblem on their tombs. They killed a significant portion of the demons, while the remaining demons managed to flee and hide in an unknown place. Two thousand years passed since that event, and humans continued to live in peace in the kingdom of Mirasia.
One cold night in the village of Mirasia, there was a girl named Izil. She was a teenage girl with blonde hair and blue eyes. She was sleeping in her wooden bed when suddenly, she heard a feminine voice saying, "Release me," repeating continuously. Izil woke up to this voice but saw no source of it. Despite the voice continuing, she gently opened her bedroom door. She opened it just enough to peer outside, trying to locate the voice, but saw nothing. She opened the door wide enough to leave her room, and as she did, she looked down the hallway and saw a girl standing at the end.
The girl was wearing torn sleep clothes, with brown hair hanging over her face. Her face was pale, and she was barefoot, as though she had just emerged from a coffin. The girl slowly approached Izil, repeating:
"Release me... Release me..."
When Izil saw her, her eyes widened, and she began breathing rapidly. She covered her mouth as if to control her breath but couldn't hold back and screamed loudly. As soon as she screamed, the girl disappeared. Izil's parents rushed in to check on her. Her mother calmed her down, and when Izil told them what she had seen, her father insisted it was just a nightmare. However, Izil insisted on her story, but they didn't believe her.
The next evening, the same thing happened: a terrifying girl appeared at the end of the hallway, repeating "Release me." The same occurred the third night, and on the fourth night, Izil decided to confront her. As the girl appeared again, still repeating "Release me," Izil trembled and asked:
"W-Who are you?"
The girl replied in a terrifying voice:
"Release me."
Izil, with a voice full of fear, asked:
"H-H-How can I release you?"
"From my coffin!"
Izil was stunned by her words and said:
"If you tell me who you are... I will release you."
The girl, in a less terrifying tone, said:
"My name is Eliana. I am the former princess of the kingdom of Mirasia. The humans killed me and my family. They took our kingdom, which belonged to the demons. Please, release me from my coffin."
Izil swallowed hard:
"How do I do that?"
"Go to the mountain to the right of your house. You will find four coffins. The one next to the olive tree is mine. Then, release me."
And with that, the girl disappeared.
The next day, the sky was dark and heavy, as though it were warning of an impending storm. Izil gathered her courage and decided to go to the mountain despite the weather. She took a shovel with her to dig. When she arrived, she went towards the coffin next to the olive tree and began to dig. After about two meters, she noticed something hard and realized she had found the girl's coffin. Izil took a deep breath and, with great effort, lifted the heavy coffin. It took some time, but when she finally opened it, the rain began to pour down. Izil didn't care about the rain and continued opening it. When she did, she saw the very girl she had been hearing, saying "Release me." Strangely, the girl looked healthy and well. She sat up from her coffin, dust falling from her face and her clothes, still covered in dirt. The girl said:
"I knew you'd answer my call, Izil."
Izil stared at her, stepping back and screaming:
"H-How are you still alive?"
The girl replied:
"I am Princess Eliana, and I am one of the demons. We are not like humans. We live for thousands of years and can survive without oxygen or food or water."
The girl smiled slightly and said:
"Now, help me awaken my family."
Izil's eyes widened as she whispered:
"What... are they still alive?"
Two hours later, the rain stopped. Izil began to believe that Eliana and her family were not as terrifying as she once thought. King Aldrik, their father, was the oldest, yet still possessed a strong body. Queen Elythia, despite her age, retained her youthful beauty. And Crown Prince Leonard, a handsome young man with crimson eyes and dark black hair. Leonard looked at Izil, bending slightly to her height due to the noticeable difference in their heights, and said, while looking at his sister Eliana:
"Eliana, what is this human girl doing here?"
Eliana replied:
"I called her to release us from beneath the earth."
Izil backed away from Leonard, then said:
"H-How are you still alive? I can't believe it."
Leonard replied indifferently:
"Didn't Eliana tell you that we are demons? And we are strong."
Eliana whispered to her brother:
"I did tell her."
Leonard then said to Izil:
"Thank you for helping us."
He then spoke with a voice full of mystery:
"Now, it's time for us to take revenge on the humans."
