Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: Transmigration

Arin's eyes snapped open, and he was met with an unfamiliar ceiling. He tried to sit up, but a wave of dizziness washed over him, forcing him back onto the bed. His head spun, and his memories felt foggy.

"Where...where am I?" Arin muttered, trying to remember how he got there.

Memories of his past life flooded his mind: his family, friends, and the gaming community he was a part of. But something felt off. This wasn't his bedroom, and the air smelled different.

He tried to stand up again, but his legs felt like jelly. Arin stumbled and fell back onto the bed, his heart racing.

"What's going on?" Arin thought, panic creeping in.

Suddenly, a low, melodic voice spoke to him, echoing in his mind.

Transmigration Protocol Initiated.

You Have Been Transferred To The Planet Eridoria.

Eridoria, a terrestrial planet located in the outer rim of the Andromeda galaxy, is home to diverse landscapes and climates. The planet is divided into five continents:

- The northern continent of Kyrial, known for its snow-capped mountains and frozen tundras.

- The western continent of Valtoria, home to vast deserts and arid landscapes.

- The eastern continent of Eldrida, a land of lush forests and rolling hills.

- The southern continent of Nefaria, a realm of dark swamps and treacherous jungles.

- The central continent of Tenaria, a land of ancient ruins and mysterious energies.

Eridoria is also home to ancient magic and mythical creatures, where the inhabitants harness the power of the elements to build their cities and fuel their innovations.

Arin's eyes widened as he scrambled to understand what was happening.

A faint memory flickered in the back of his mind - a memory that wasn't his own.

A young boy, bullied and belittled by his peers, wandered into the forest, feeling weak and alone. A beast attacked, and the boy's world went dark.

The memory faded, leaving Arin with more questions than answers.

The door creaked open, and two figures entered.

A middle-aged man with a warm smile and gentle eyes approached Arin's bedside. "Arin, you're awake. We've been so worried about you. You've been asleep for two days."

A woman with long, curly brown hair and a loving touch stood beside him, tears of joy in her eyes. "Our little boy is finally awake," she whispered, her voice trembling with emotion.

Arin's confusion deepened. "Who...who are you?"

Thorne, Arin's father, took his hand, his grip warm and reassuring. "We're your parents, Thorne and Lirien. We gave birth to you, raised you, and loved you with all our hearts."

Lirien, Arin's mother, leaned in to hug him gently. "We're so glad you're safe, Arin."

Arin's expression remained blank, and he shook his head. "I...I don't know you."

Thorne and Lirien exchanged a bewildered glance. Thorne's smile faltered, and Lirien's eyes widened in shock.

"Arin, what's the last thing you remember?" Thorne asked gently.

Arin's brow furrowed as he tried to remember. The system's voice echoed in his mind.

Memory Retrieval Initiated.

Searching For Relevant Memories...

A memory flashed before his eyes - a memory of being attacked by a beast.

"I...I was attacked," Arin stammered, the memory still hazy.

Lirien's eyes filled with worry. "We found you near the old ruins. You were bleeding badly."

Arin's mind was still foggy, but he was starting to piece together what happened.

As they stood there, a strange sensation washed over Arin, like a floodgate opening in his mind. Memories began to pour in, memories that weren't his own.

He remembered growing up in this village, playing with the other children, learning how to hunt and farm from his father. He remembered his mother's warm smile, her gentle touch.

Arin's eyes widened as the memories overwhelmed him. He looked at Thorne and Lirien, and this time, he saw them differently. He saw his parents.

"Mom...Dad?" Arin whispered, his voice shaking.

Thorne and Lirien exchanged a hopeful glance, and Lirien rushed forward, embracing Arin tightly.

"Arin, our son, you're back," she whispered, tears streaming down her face.

Thorne placed a hand on Arin's shoulder, his eyes shining with tears.

"We're here, son. We're here for you."
