Chapter 78 - Chapter 78: No More Running

The city skyline faded into the distance as Claire pushed the van past its limits. The narrow roads leading out of town were lined with towering trees, shadows stretching long under the pale moonlight. The initial gunfire had stopped, but the tension remained thick.

Inside the van, Isabella loaded her gun with steady hands. No more running. No more hiding.

Alexander watched her from the opposite seat, his gaze sharp. "We need to strike back—hard."

Damian was already scanning Langston's digital footprint. "He's sending more men. We won't have long before they find our next location."

Claire tightened her grip on the wheel. "Then where do we go?"

A moment of silence. Then, Isabella spoke.

"We go to Langston."

The Plan to End It

Alexander raised an eyebrow. "You're suggesting we walk into the lion's den?"

Isabella's lips curled into a smirk. "No. I'm suggesting we burn the whole damn den to the ground."

Damian whistled. "I like the way you think."

Claire cast a wary glance. "How?"

Isabella leaned forward, eyes gleaming. "We hit his headquarters. We destroy his last resources. And we take him down before he can regroup."

Damian tapped on his laptop. "Langston operates out of a private estate outside the city. High-tech security, underground panic rooms, and a private militia."

Alexander's jaw tightened. "Then we'll need more than just a plan. We'll need an army."

Calling in Reinforcements

Isabella pulled out her phone and dialed a number she hadn't called in years.

The line clicked. A familiar voice answered. "Didn't think I'd hear from you again."

Isabella's smile was deadly. "I have a job for you."

A chuckle on the other end. "How dangerous?"

"Very."

A pause. Then, the answer she expected. "I'm in."

She hung up and met Alexander's gaze. "We won't be fighting alone."

The Final Move Begins

The van sped into the night, heading straight toward the war they were about to start.

This was it.

The final fight was coming.

And this time, they weren't just fighting to survive.

They were fighting to win.
