Chapter 1 - "There is my village."

The sun rises, casting its rays through the glass of their respectable car. Inside the car are a loving couple and their son. The father appears tired from the journey, while the mother takes out her makeup bag and begins applying makeup. Meanwhile, in the back of the car, young Aurelius is lost in his thoughts. Just yesterday, he left his home in the city. Why do we always leave our homes and move?

The father is an archaeologist, which causes the family to move frequently. Aurelius, in his first year of school, couldn't make any friends, and now, he's moving again without having seen his new school for the second year in a row.

If we remove this issue, Aurelius's life seems perfect—loving parents, a wonderful family environment, and a smart, handsome, well-off child. But right there, as Aurelius opened his eyes, he saw a small village below the hill where their car had stopped.

The father exclaimed, "Wonderful, my dear, we've finally arrived." Aurelius got out of the car and took his first look at the village of Coris, their intended destination. The parents got out, and the father said to Aurelius, "My dear son, this village is very small compared to our city, but you will like it here."

But Aurelius responded sadly, "I don't care, Dad, whether it's big or small. We won't stay here, and that's what saddens me."

The father's phone rang, and he stepped away to answer it. The mother bent down to her son and said, "It's okay, little one. We can always find happiness anywhere." Aurelius tried to smile at his mother and stepped away a little to look at the village again. The wife then turned to ask about the call. The father seemed worried and asked his wife, "My dear, it seems the plan has changed, and we might stay here for a year or more."

The wife responded, "It's fine, my love. As long as I am with you and Aurelius, anywhere will be my home."

Then Aurelius approached to ask what was happening. The parents smiled at each other and, with joy, the father exclaimed, "Aurelius, my dear son!" He placed his hands on his shoulders. "Finally, your wish has come true. I prayed that we stay here."

Aurelius was delighted and asked, "What do you mean, Dad?"

The father replied, "Now, you, your mother, and I will live here for a long, long time."

Aurelius laughed and hugged his father. He then turned back toward the hill to take another look at the village—the village where, at last, he would settle and feel that he belonged.
