Chapter 84 - Chapter 84: Journey to Eldoria

After Ryo had defeated the angel, he stored its body in his storage ability, sealing it away for further investigation. He didn't know why it had been imprisoned in this land, but he would uncover the truth in due time. For now, he had other matters to attend to.

Moments later, the academy's carriage arrived. It was large and grand, bearing the insignia of the prestigious Academy, as it was meant to transport students and faculty on their trip to Eldoria. As the door opened, Ryo saw Headmaster stepping out, followed closely by his fiancées—Selena, Seyra, Ai, Lyra, Lilith, and Hilda.

"Ryo, you're coming with us, right?" Selena asked, her crimson eyes gleaming with anticipation.

He smiled. "Of course."

With that, Ryo joined them in the carriage, and they set off. The journey took several hours, but it was far from dull. The interior of the carriage was luxurious, and conversations flowed naturally. They discussed their expectations of Eldoria, their plans for the trip, and the recent discoveries regarding the imprisoned angel.

Eventually, they arrived in Eldoria, a city filled with architectural marvels, blending different cultures. The streets were lively, with people from various races going about their business. Majestic buildings, some ancient and some newly constructed, lined the roads.

Ryo led the group to his palace, where he had prepared guest rooms for everyone. As they settled in, he turned to his fiancées and asked, "Are there angels here as well?"

Selena was the first to answer. "Yes. There are many. They were likely sealed here with us and other races. But we don't know which god they serve, or if that god even exists anymore."

Ryo frowned. "That angel I defeated—why was it imprisoned here?"

No one had an answer, and the room fell into silence as they pondered the mystery. Ryo sighed and decided to leave the matter for another time. He kissed each of his fiancées before retiring for the night, resting for the eventful day ahead.

The next morning, Ryo gathered all the students for a tour of Eldoria. His little sister, Ayaka, and Nova, the infant silver dragon, accompanied them. The city bustled with energy, its streets filled with vendors, merchants, and adventurers. Ryo led the group through the main square, pointing out various landmarks.

They had just reached the marketplace when someone reached for Nova, attempting to take him from Ayaka's arms.

"Give him to me," the person demanded.

Ayaka clutched Nova tightly and screamed, "Nooo! He belongs to Big Brother!"

The person silenced her by covering her mouth, but before anything more could happen, Ryo's sharp gaze locked onto them. His killing intent surged, sending chills down the spines of those around him. He called Ayaka and Nova over, examining them for any harm before turning his attention back to the offender.

Ryo's rage flared, and with a flick of his wrist, he summoned a weapon to eliminate the student. Before he could act, the student council president stepped in.

"Wait! He will be punished when we return to the academy," the president said sternly. "Let the school handle this."

Ryo narrowed his eyes. "Fine. But he won't walk away so easily."

With a wave of his hand, he sent the student to Eldoria's prison. The matter settled, he resumed the tour.

First, he took them to the bathhouses—massive, luxurious structures where people of different races could relax. The architecture was a blend of traditional Eldorian craftsmanship and modern enhancements, making it a marvel to behold.

Next, they visited the cafes, where students got to taste exotic delicacies from Eldoria's diverse culture. The aroma of freshly brewed tea and pastries filled the air, and laughter echoed through the streets as students enjoyed the experience.

They then proceeded to the grand library, a vast repository of knowledge containing ancient texts and newly written works. Ai, being the scholar of the group, was particularly excited, disappearing into the shelves with Lyra following closely behind.

From there, Ryo took them to the Hunter's Guild, where adventurers gathered to take on quests. The students watched in fascination as guild members demonstrated combat techniques and shared tales of their exploits. Some even took on minor quests to test their skills.

As the tour continued, Ryo showed them the new construction projects—each a symbol of Eldoria's progress.

A school for children was being built, ensuring education for the next generation.

A book cafe, where people could read while enjoying their favorite drinks, was near completion.

A game store, selling board games, sports supplies, and other entertainment, was already attracting attention.

As they walked through the city, Ryo couldn't help but feel a sense of accomplishment. Eldoria, once a sealed land, was thriving. It was a place where different races could coexist and build a future together.

The tour continued for hours, and as the sun began to set, Ryo gathered everyone back at the palace. He watched as his fiancées chatted happily about their favorite parts of the trip, while Ayaka clung to Nova, determined never to let him go again.

As the day ended, Ryo sat on the palace balcony, overlooking the city. There was still much to uncover about Eldoria's past and the presence of angels in this land. But for now, he was content, knowing that he had protected those he cared about and had taken another step toward building a better future.

With a satisfied sigh, he turned away from the view and headed inside, ready for whatever challenges awaited him next.
