Ryo sighed, rubbing his temples as he faced the four girls who stood before him, arms crossed and expressions filled with frustration. Selena, Seyra, Ai, and Lilith had cornered him in his room, refusing to let him escape until he answered them.
"Why are you all suddenly arguing about this?" Ryo asked, confused by their irritation.
Selena pouted, placing her hands on her hips. "Because you never take the initiative! We always have to push you, and it's frustrating!"
Seyra nodded in agreement. "Exactly! A proper fiancé should plan dates, surprise us, or at least make an effort!"
Ai, usually the quietest of the four, gave a small huff. "You need to be more proactive, Ryo. We shouldn't be the ones always taking the first step."
Lilith grinned, resting her chin on her palm. "So, we decided that you're going on a date with each of us! Four days, four dates. No excuses."
Ryo gulped, realizing there was no way out of this. He scratched the back of his head before sighing in defeat. "Alright, alright. Let's do it."
Day One: A Date with Selena
Selena was the first. She wore a stunning crimson dress that highlighted her beauty, her crimson eyes shimmering with excitement. They walked through the bustling streets of Eldoria, hand in hand, as Selena dragged him from shop to shop.
"Ryo, look at this dress! Do you think it suits me?" she asked, holding up a black and red gown.
Ryo chuckled. "You'd look beautiful in anything."
Selena blushed but tried to act unimpressed. "Hmph, at least you know how to flatter a lady."
They stopped by a café, sitting at a corner table as Selena ordered sweets and tea. As they ate, she leaned forward with a mischievous smile. "You better not forget this day, Ryo. I expect you to spoil me like this more often."
He sighed but smiled. "I'll try my best."
As the sun set, she held onto his arm, resting her head on his shoulder. "I had fun today, Ryo. Thank you."
He gently squeezed her hand. "Me too, Selena."
Day Two: A Date with Seyra
Seyra's turn came the next day. She wore a sky-blue dress, her silver hair flowing in the wind. Unlike Selena, she took Ryo to more adventurous places, starting with a visit to a dragon-themed exhibition in Eldoria.
"See this?" Seyra pointed at a large dragon statue. "It's a tribute to one of my ancestors."
Ryo nodded, fascinated. "You're really proud of your lineage, huh?"
"Of course! And since you're my fiancé, you should learn more about dragons too."
They roamed the exhibition, and later, Seyra dragged him to a magical artifact shop. She picked up a bracelet infused with ice magic. "This would suit you," she mused before putting it on his wrist.
Ryo raised an eyebrow. "You're giving me a gift on our date?"
Seyra smirked. "Well, I figured you'd need something to remember me by."
They ended their date at a hilltop, watching the sunset. Seyra held his hand, her gaze soft. "This was fun, Ryo. Let's do it again."
He smiled. "Yeah, I'd like that."
Day Three: A Date with Ai
Ai, in contrast to the others, opted for a peaceful and quiet date. She wore an elegant dress, her brown hair gently cascading down her shoulders.
"I want to visit the Grand Library," she said softly, her eyes shining with excitement.
Ryo chuckled. "Of course, you'd pick a library."
They spent hours browsing books, Ai excitedly sharing her knowledge. At one point, she rested her head against his shoulder, flipping through a book.
"Ryo, this moment feels nice," she murmured.
They later went for tea in a serene garden café. Ai was more reserved but content, holding Ryo's hand as they enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere.
Before parting, Ai smiled at him. "Thank you, Ryo. Today was… precious to me."
Ryo nodded. "I'm glad, Ai."
Day Four: A Date with Lilith
Lilith, being the playful and mischievous one, took Ryo to an entertainment district. She wore a sleek black outfit, looking both mysterious and captivating.
"Come on, Ryo! Let's have some fun!" she grinned, pulling him into a game stall.
They played carnival games, Lilith challenging him at every turn. Ryo managed to win her a stuffed fox, which made her surprisingly happy.
They later went to a magic-enhanced mirror maze, where Lilith used illusions to tease him. "Can you find the real me?" she whispered in multiple directions.
When Ryo finally caught her, she laughed. "You're getting better at this."
They ended the date with a quiet walk under the stars. Lilith twirled in front of him, holding out her hand. "Today was fun. You better not forget it."
Ryo took her hand, smiling. "I won't."
As the four days concluded, Ryo found himself exhausted but happy. Each of his fiancées had their own charm, and he had enjoyed every moment with them.
The next morning, as he sat in his dorm, all four girls entered his room.
"Well?" Selena asked, arms crossed. "What did you think?"
Ryo smiled. "I had fun. Thank you for planning this."
Seyra grinned. "Good! Then expect more dates in the future."
Ai nodded. "We'll be waiting."
Lilith smirked. "Better start planning, Ryo."
Ryo sighed, realizing his peaceful days were officially over. But as he looked at his fiancées, he couldn't help but smile.
Maybe this wasn't so bad after all.
