Chapter 5 - Ch 5 - kill me please

Cyrus shook his head, his expression hardening. "I can't believe I was so stupid," he muttered, more to himself than to Tobias. "I actually thought... I actually thought you cared about me." Tobias reached out to him, his hand hovering over his shoulder.

"Cyrus, please..." he pleaded, his voice cracking with emotion. But Cyrus jerked away from his touch, as if it burned him. "Just go ahead murder me!" Tobias looked alarmed by his words, his eyes widening with horror. "No! Cyrus, I would never..." he started, but his words died in his throat as he saw the pain and desperation etched on his face.

"I order you to murder me or ill jump down" Cyrus looked down at the edge. Its high. But it was his only way to escape. Tobias must have seen something in his gaze, because he suddenly lunged forward, grabbing hold of him tightly and pulling him back from the edge.

"Don't even think about it," he said, his voice low and urgent. "Let go of me!" "No," Tobias said firmly, his arms locked around him. "I won't let you do this, I won't let you take your own life."

Cyrus tried to push him away, struggling against his grip with all his might. "Let me go!" he repeated, tears streaming down his face. "No, I won't!" Tobias said, his grip only tightening. "I won't let you jump, I won't let you kill yourself."

Cyrus slumped heavily in his arms, the fight leaving him suddenly. He was too exhausted to fight anymore, too tired to keep up the pretense. "Why?" he whispered, so quietly that Tobias almost didn't hear him. "Why do you care?" Tobias loosened his grip slightly, but he still held him tightly, his grip strong and protective. "Because I care about you, you idiot," he said, his voice rough with emotion.

"I care about you more than I ever thought possible, and I can't bear the thought of something happening to you." Cyrus closed his eyes, a mixture of pain and confusion warring within him. "You...care about me?" he asked, his voice trembling slightly. "After everything you said, everything you agreed to... you still care?"

Tobias took a shaky breath, his own emotions swirling within him. "Of course I care about you," he said, his voice low and sincere. "You're all I can think about, all the time. I never wanted to hurt you, I never wanted to betrays you. I made a mistake, a huge mistake. Please, believe me."

Tears start flooding down on Cyrus his face. "Please just kill me. Stop this drowning feeling inside me. Its for the better anyways.." Tobias shook his head vehemently, his grip only tightening on him. "No," he said firmly, his voice cracking with emotion.

"I won't do it, I won't let you hurt yourself. I don't care what Kace asked me to do, and I don't care what you think is best. I won't lose you, I won't let you give up." On that moment Kace walks in. Seeing the commotion. Kace raised an eyebrow as he saw the scene in front of him; Tobias holding onto Cyrus tightly, his face etched with desperation, and Cyrus looking defeated and broken.

"What the hell is going on here?" he asked, his voice cold and sharp. Tobias looked up at him warily, his arms still wrapped around Cyrus protectively. "It's none of your business," he said, his voice tight with hostility.

Kace sneered, his gaze flicking between the two of them. "Oh, it is very much my business," he said, his voice dangerous. "Especially when I see my knight hanging on to my brother like a lifeline." Tobias bristled visibly at his words, his grip on Cyrus tightening even further.

"I'm doing what any decent person would do," he said, his voice low and dangerous. "I'm preventing him from hurting himself." Kace smirked, clearly amused by the scene in front of him. "How noble of you," he said, his tone dripping with sarcasm.

"But I'm afraid that's not your job, Tobias. Your job is to obey my orders, and my orders are for you to kill him." Tobias clenched his jaw, a wave of anger coursing through him. he knew that he had to keep his composure. "I won't do it," he said, his voice hard and filled with sadness. "I won't hurt him, no matter what you say."
