One evening, as Alex was returning from work, he ran into Sophia in the lobby. She was carrying a bottle of wine and smiled when she saw him. "Hey, Alex. I was just about to open this. Care to join me?"
He hesitated for a moment, then nodded. "Sure, why not?"
Her apartment was cozy and tastefully decorated, with soft lighting and plush furniture. She poured them each a glass of wine, and they sat on her couch, talking about everything and nothing. As the evening wore on, Alex noticed how close she was sitting, her leg brushing against his. Her perfume was intoxicating, a blend of jasmine and vanilla that made his head spin.
At one point, she reached out to tuck a strand of hair behind his ear, her fingers lingering on his cheek. "You're a good guy, Alex," she said softly. "I like that about you."
Before he could respond, she leaned in and kissed him. It was soft and tentative at first, but then it deepened, and Alex felt himself losing control. He knew he should pull away, but he couldn't. She was magnetic, and he was powerless to resist.
