Adventure!
This is a group of 8 people. They live in the same state and attend the same high school. In both good and bad times, they support and comfort each other, meaning they were inseparable friends. They were also in the same class at school and helped each other with group projects.
After a tiring school day, everyone went home. Soon, one was playing on the phone, another was watching a movie, and the others were busy with various tasks. Suddenly, a message from Fred came:
-"I'm heading to the lake for a hike. Actually, I'd love for you to join me. I'd be happy if you accept my invitation."
At the same time, a message from Orlich arrived:
-"I actually have some things to do, but the weather's nice. So, I'm considering your offer."
Thus, the others also agreed to the idea. The meeting point was in front of the school.
Soon, everyone was gathered in front of the school. Fred and Ethan had already planned to come by car, so the group would head to the forest in their car. After a while, the items were loaded into the car. Once everyone settled in, they finally set off. The conversation began soon after…
They had already arrived at the forest and started hiking. Sheila wanted to check the time but remembered she left her phone in the car, so she asked Emma for the time. Richard quickly looked at his wristwatch and said:
-"It's 14:20."
In fact, Richard liked Sheila, but he thought that she might not like him because he was Black, so he had decided to keep this feeling to himself for now.
They continued deeper into the forest. At that moment, Fred tripped over a rope and fell into a hidden basement. Everyone, panicked, tried to understand what had happened. Orlich quickly helped him out of the basement, grabbed a flashlight, and cautiously entered the basement. In disbelief, he said:
-"This is a wonder."
Indeed, apart from the cobwebs and dust-covered furniture, it seemed like a very suitable place.
Later, Orlich took a closer look and saw old furniture, empty cans, damp carpets, and a stove with a charred table next to it.
-"It seems there was once life here." Sheila commented.
Fred, who had been silent, suddenly screamed and pointed to his foot:
-"My foot, I think it's broken."
After saying this, Fred's pain worsened, and he started screaming even louder. While Fred only showed his foot, he had also injured his head and arm. At that moment, Victoria noticed Fred's bloodied foot and said:
-"We need to take him to the hospital immediately."
Fred's bleeding foot worsened. Rima called out to Emma, asking for the first aid kit from her bag. Rima handed it to her.
However, Richard did not allow this and insisted that he would bandage Fred's foot himself. First, he took out painkillers and a bandage. He applied the painkiller to the wound and tightly wrapped it with the bandage. After finishing, he carefully picked Fred up and moved him towards the forest exit. He gently placed him in Ethan's car and took the driver's seat. Orlich sat beside him, Sheila in the back with Fred. Ethan and the others sat in Fred's car.
The road from the forest to the hospital took about 30-40 minutes. Considering this, Richard pressed the gas pedal and drove as fast as he could. He glanced at Fred in the rearview mirror; his color had turned pale due to blood loss, and his eyes were closing.
