In the 19th century, during many historical events, wars and crises, many changes took place in the Itō family, especially for, Hiroto, then an experienced farmer and father of one child.
-In the very late 1860s, in this area of the world, during many events in the world, the most important thing for Hiroto was to maintain his family. As a peasant family, they did not have much living conditions to afford, and Hirota was forced to manage everywhere. One day, while it was another busy day for Hirota and the other peasants, the trumpets of the well-known then-imperialist army of Japan came to Hiroto's village. Many were upset because they were not aware of the reason for their arrival, so everyone gathered and waited in fear for their reaction.
-While all gathered were waiting in fear and uncertainty in silence, one of the army commanders jumped off his horse and began to address the villagers directly: Hiroto Itō, we will ask you to join us and follow! Everyone was shocked, especially Hiroto and his helpless family.
-As his wife worried, in fear full of uncertainty
When they arrived at their destination, they immediately asked Hiroto to follow them.
Shortly afterwards, Hiroto and the commander of the Japanese imperialist army, talked.
Tell me everything you know about them! They asked Hiroto. Shocked and helpless, he was unaware of what was happening, so he thought they were targeting the wrong person.
He waited and waited, and suddenly he realized what it was all about! Hiroto Itō is a former member of the Samurai, and the goal of the imperialists was to find out as much information as possible about them! Everything was immediately clear to Hiroto. After threatening him, they decided to give him another chance to speak, and he did.
Not long after that, they decided to take Hiroto, towards them to be one of them! Hiroto wanted to return to his family, but unfortunately that was not possible.
Hiroto, was one of many former samurai who were forced to join the Imperialists. Hiroto's life will no longer be the same.
-after a long time, Hiroto's wife, now helpless herself, realized that Hiroto would not return. She was left alone with the then 15-year-old Takashi. As she pondered what to do, an idea came to her that would give her hope. She was aware that her son's life was in danger as well.
-This will be your new home. She told Takashi, his helpless mother. It was not clear to him what was happening, but he realized that this was the situation, and that there was no other way out..
-you will grow up under the shadows of knights. She said.
Shortly afterwards, Takashi, forced to distance himself from his mother, and from now on, be on his own.
-After that, after he officially became one of them, he met the samurai leader of the area. Umajirō, who gave him chance to be the real Samurai. Umajirō was one who used to know Hiroto very well, and learned him long time ago. He was very emotional when he realised that Takashiro is his son. He also gave the promise to his mother, that he will look at him, as he looked to his sons. It was a new beginning for Takashio, far from his home
The Samurai
-In this part of Japan, near one japanese island, in the village where they were located, many events were held for them. There were celebrations and parties, but the most important thing for them was to be ready. The enemy could attack at any moment.
-For Takashiro, it was something completely new, but also familiar since his father was one of them.
He practiced and practiced, hoping for the revenge of his father and mother. Here you will learn how to become a real knight, - Umajirō told him.
-Umajirō, and the rest of his samurai, were aware that very few samurai remained, and that the westernization of Japan was getting closer and closer. It was only a matter of time before they were attacked.
After spending a lot of time there, he learned a lot, but also the skills required by samurai. He also met his first crush, Koyuki, with whom he spent the most free time, and many mothers in the village took close care of the family.
The Battle
-While everyone was preparing, they knew that day was approaching. Not long after, shots and signs of infantry were heard. It was immediately clear to Umajirō and his warriors that the imperialists were coming to fight. Prepare yourself! Everyone was shouting. Takashiroo understood what it was about, but he was ready. Umajiroo insisted on not fighting, so he placed him far away in the shelter:Do not move, stay here! Umajirō said to him, but Takashiro didn't listen to him and decided to take action without his knowledge.
he took his suit and swords and secretly snuck in among them, risking his life.
-a few hundred samurai, against tens of thousands of imperialist soldiers, seems impossible, but for Umajirō and his warriors, never. The battle has begun.
The final run
-The fight lasted quite a long time, a lot of killed, bloodshed but the samurai did not give up, and continued the fight, although they had a lot of injured and dead. It was the last samurai battle. The imperialists strongly imagined a fight, with also many killed, but they were much more advanced than, now only a few dozen samurai left ... Umajirō, as their leader, was badly injured and dying. Takashiro watched the action closely, and tried his best to save as many samurai as possible, and when he saw Umajirōō, he immediately went towards him, knowing that he did not have much time left ... After Umajirō saw him, it was not clear to him what is he doing here, and he told him: Did I tell you to stay?! Takashiro replied: A samurai should always be prepared for death – whether his own or someone else's. You taught me that".
umajirō ordered him to go away, and save himself, but after that, the samurai was no more. The Imperial Army was superior, and ordered the remaining few samurai to surrender, but they opposed them, and committed suicide.
The only ones left were Takshiro and Umajirō, who was dying from his injuries.
-It was all clear who won the battle. The leader of the imperialist army, Hiroyuki, wanted the remaining samurai, in sight. While Takashiro was helping the umajirō, he realized that it was over, so he decided to go to them, but Umajirō did not leave him. Together, side by side, they marched towards the Goliath army, and bravely stood before them. "Here we are," Takashiro said. Everyone stood and watched the event.
Hiroyuki then asked Takashiro to tell him his name. Takashiro at first, did not want to reveal his identity, but later decided to say both name and surname, then took off his mask. Everyone was shocked when they saw a 15-year-old child. Hiroyuki immediately ordered him to take cover, and ordered the other to kill the last one now, Samurai Umajirōō. As he approached him, Takashiro, under the trap of a soldier, was trying in every way to resist this, when suddenly he heard a voice: Stop! One of the soldiers shouted.
It was not clear to anyone what was going on, and he suddenly appeared. It was Takashiro's father Hiroto. Takashiro was shocked, so he immediately called him. Hiroto said: Son, take care.
After Umajirō saw him, he called him and told him to do it himself! It was not clear to Hiroyuki what it was about, but he realized afterwards that this was their last forgiveness as samurai. Everyone knelt out of respect, and expressed their respect. After Umajirō ordered him,It was very hard for Hiroto to make that. Umajirō told him:"Engage in combat fully determined to die and you will be alive; wish to survive in the battle and you will surely meet death." Everyone showed respect, when they committed Seppuku. Takashiro was helpless, and after that, Hiroyuki decided to take Takashiro with him.
The Return
Shortly afterwards, Takashiro met the Supreme Emperor. He ordered him to return to his mother's village, where he grew up, and to take several other villagers from the village where he had spent time with the samurai. Takashiro spent the rest of his life with his mother, later marrying his first crush, he met in the village, Koyuki.
"While nations shift and change, the traditions and customs should never be forgotten by its people' It is the motto that Takashiro will never forget…
