Chapter 1 - Prologue

I've been alive ever since the concept of time was created.

I witnessed the being of this planet as it rose from being the weakest existence to being the ruler of countless nations.

I witnessed the birth of other races. The orcs, beings as stupid as humans. The elves are races that are hostile towards any creature they deem harmful to nature; one of those is, of course, humans.

Even though they are the weakest, humans are also the most entertaining creatures this world has to offer. It was funny seeing them unite to destroy what they call an "oppressive ruler" only to repeat the same mistake.

What a stupid creature they are, wanting to escape the shackles of inevitability only to realize that it was futile. And it was to my entertainment to watch them as they stupidly attempt to do so.

But an event suddenly changed my life. And it was through what I call the stupid creature that it happened.

...

"Hey, you piece of shit! Do you know how much I spent on this equipme—"

A bug was rambling about something in front of me again. It's been a decade since someone visited my castle so I was thrilled to know who it was.

I definitely don't want to kill him. But he was quite annoying, especially with that shining sword, so I squashed him into pieces.

And so, days passed by. And I was not aware of the calamity that was approaching me. Well even though one might have the awareness, that does not mean they can escape.

...

"Shit!" Lucas cursed himself as he smashed the keyboard. Three hundred dollars worth of equipment were gone at that instant. He knew that when he entered the boss's room he definitely was not quite prepared, but being stomped instantly without even dealing any notable damage.

Suddenly, he remembered something, and he blankly stared at the ceiling. He took his phone and viewed the notification panels. Of course, as a loser as he was, there was nothing except for an email sent by his professor which he decided to ignore.

It was useless to read something he wouldn't be needing anyway. Lucas opened a new tab on his computer and immediately clicked on the search bar.

He wants to know all the information about the boss he is about to kill. As much as he hates the game, he still wants to play it. And this boss was the only thing preventing him from finishing the game and obtaining the achievement.

He already spent thousands of dollars on this shitty game and there was no way he was going to give up

Lucas immediately clicked the first URL he saw, it was the fandom wiki of the game. He went to the search bar of the fandom and entered the keyword boss and immediately looked for the name of the boss.

"Huh?" A confused voice suddenly escaped the mouth of Lucas as he stared at the screen.

Third Option: "The End" His journey is fulfilled. His Heart is at Peace and Soul at Rest. You Freed Him from His Suffering. (This is what the game says)

Fourth Option:... Undying. (No further information is known, and no notable effects have been reported by players.)

-

Warning: The Boss has 2nd Phase. In this phase, his stats are improved (The range of improvement depends on the level of the player) he is also able to transform into a black hole. The black hole form has no notable effects aside from restricting some of your skills related to teleportation.

Note: The recommended level to fight the boss is 90+.

Seeing the information about the boss, Lucas fell into contemplation. Although his current level was already 97, he was still immediately squashed to death by a single strike. Does that mean that this boss is only possible to defeat by not taking a single hit?

"Guess I'll spend my remaining month in this shitty game..." Lucas smiles lightly at the screen. In his eyes are both worry and excitement.
