Chapter 1 - chapter 1, THE INVITATION

Emily, a talented sculptor, stood out for her creativity more than in her academics. Her passion was fueled by her family's story and the loss of her father at age ten. As an introvert, Emily cherished alone time, but her friends Alex and Rain often swept her into their social whirlwind.

One evening, they proposed a night out at an exclusive private party. Emily hesitated, but eventually agreed. The invitation was a mystery, with Alex's wealthy upbringing likely playing a role.

As they entered the club, the thumping music and screams of excitement enveloped them. The private party, hosted by the enigmatic Typhons, pulsed with energy. Emily's eyes widened as she took in the scene: swinging lights, pulsating beats, and revelers lost in the moment.

With a deep breath, Emily stepped into the unknown, leaving her comfort zone behind.

As the night wore on, Emily let loose, dancing with Rain and Alex. The music pulsed through her veins, and she felt alive. Alex, always the life of the party, suggested they take shots at the bar. Emily, feeling adventurous, downed three or four shots in quick succession.

The room began to spin, and Emily felt a wave of dizziness wash over her. Alex grabbed her hand, laughing, and pulled her back onto the dance floor. Rain joined in, and the three friends danced together, lost in the music.

"You okay, Em?" Alex yelled over the music. "You're not too high, are you?"

Emily shook her head, laughing. "No, I'm good! Just a bit tipsy!" She held up her thumb and index finger, indicating a small amount.

The music shifted, and Emily excused herself, making her way through the crowd to the restroom. The cool air enveloped her as she pushed open the door, a welcome respite from the heat of the dance floor.

As Emily pushed open the door, she realized her mistake. She had entered the men's restroom instead of the women's. Before she could turn around, she collided with a tall, handsome stranger.

His dark, coily hair framed his chiseled face, and piercing green eyes sparkled with amusement. Emily's gaze drifted down his well-toned body, her cheeks flushing with embarrassment.

"What are you doing here?" Emily whispered, trying to compose herself. "You're...you're not supposed to be here."

The stranger chuckled, his deep voice sending shivers down Emily's spine. "I think you're the one who's in the wrong place," he said, his eyes crinkling at the corners.

Emily's eyes widened as she realized the awkwardness of the situation. She tried to step back, but her feet seemed rooted to the spot. The stranger's gaze held hers, and for a moment, they just stared at each other.

Emily's eyes locked onto the stranger's, and for a moment, they just stared at each other. The tension between them was palpable. Emily felt a flutter in her stomach, but it wasn't just from the alcohol She was drawn to this mysterious stranger.

Just as it seemed like they would stand there forever, they heard the sound of footsteps approaching, Emily's heart skipped a beat as she grabbed the stranger's arm and dragged him into one of the toilet stalls, She closed the door behind them, her chest heaving with excitement.

The stranger looked at her with a mixture of surprise and amusement. "Well, I didn't expect this," he whispered, his eyes sparkling with intrigue.

Emily's face flushed as she realized the intimacy of their situation. They were trapped in a small space, their bodies inches apart. She could feel the heat emanating from him, and her heart racing in response.

As they stood there, the stranger's eyes never left Emily's face. "I have to say, I'm intrigued," he whispered, his voice low and husky. "You're not like most women I meet."

Emily's heart skipped a beat as she felt a spark of attraction. Without thinking, she leaned in, her lips brushing against the stranger's. The kiss was electric, sending shivers down her spine.

The stranger's arms wrapped around her, deepening the kiss. Emily felt like she was melting into him, their bodies entwined in a passionate embrace. The world around them melted away, leaving only the two of them, lost in the moment.

As they broke apart for air, Emily's eyes locked onto the stranger's. "Who are you?" she whispered, her voice barely audible.

The stranger smiled, his eyes crinkling at the corners. "I'm Max," he said, his voice low and husky.

Emily's voice barely whispered as she replied, "I'm Emily."

Max's eyes sparkled with intrigue, his husky voice sending shivers down her spine. "You wanna take this somewhere else?" he asked, his gaze holding hers.

Without thinking, Emily nodded, her heart racing with excitement. She closed his mouth with her hands pushing him to lean back , her hand on his chest. The footsteps outside receded, and they were alone once more.

As the silence stretched, Emily realized she'd forgotten about her friends, about the party, about everything except Max. She retreated her hand, feeling a flush rise to her cheeks.

"Wait," Max said, his voice low and husky. "Do you want to...?" He trailed off, his eyes questioning.

Emily's heart skipped a beat. Did she want to? She didn't want to think at that moment,

Emily's thoughts swirled, her inhibitions fading with each passing moment. She was young, wild, and free. Why not indulge in this chance encounter?

"Okay," she said, her voice barely above a whisper.

Max smiled, his eyes gleaming with excitement. He took her hand, leading her up the stairs to the private rooms. They stopped in front of a door, and Max pulled out a card, swiping it through the reader. The door clicked open, and he ushered her inside.

The room was dimly lit, the music from downstairs muffled. Max turned to Emily, his eyes burning with desire. They came together, their lips meeting in a passionate kiss.

As they lost themselves in each other, Emily's thoughts grew hazy. She was living in the moment, her senses overwhelmed by the intensity of their encounter.

Emily's hands moved deftly, chiseling away at the marble as her mind wandered back to the previous night. Memories of Max's touch, his kisses, and his intense gaze flooded her thoughts. She felt a flush rise to her cheeks as she recalled the passion they shared.
