Legend of Xypher
A Mysterious Arrival
The battlefield had barely settled after the battle with Lord Dargan when a cold and powerful aura spread across the land. The villagers trembled, and even Xypher and Lyra felt a strange pressure in the air.
A tall man with long blue hair and piercing silver eyes stepped forward. His presence alone made the ground tremble, and his expression carried a look of arrogance.
"I am Arkan," he declared, his voice calm but filled with authority. "I have been watching… and I refuse to accept that you two are stronger than me."
Xypher raised an eyebrow. "And who are you supposed to be?"
Arkan smirked. "The strongest warrior of the Water Dominion. I could destroy this entire kingdom with a single move."
The villagers gasped.
Lyra crossed her arms. "So? What do you want?"
Arkan's expression darkened. "I want to prove that no one is above me. Xypher… I challenge you to a battle!"
Xypher yawned. "Nah, I'm not interested. But you can fight Lyra."
Lyra's eyes widened. "Huh?"
Arkan scoffed. "She's just a girl. She can't beat me."
Silence filled the air.
Lyra's eyes twitched with rage.
"WHAT did you just say?" she growled, stepping forward. "You think I can't beat you?! Let's fight right now!"
Arkan smirked. "If you insist."
Xypher chuckled, watching with amusement. "This should be fun."
Arkan's Tragic Backstory
Before the battle began, Lyra and Xypher sensed something deep within Arkan's eyes—a sadness hidden behind his pride.
Arkan clenched his fists, remembering his past.
A thousand years ago, he was the prince of the Water Dominion. His father was the king, a ruthless warrior who believed only the strong should survive. As a child, Arkan was forced to fight his own people to prove his worth.
One day, he refused to kill an innocent villager. His father called him weak and unworthy, exiling him from the kingdom.
Since then, Arkan trained endlessly, seeking power so no one could ever call him weak again.
"I will never let anyone be stronger than me," he whispered to himself. "I will never be weak again."
The Battle Begins: Arkan vs. Lyra
Arkan's aura exploded, surrounding him in a massive sphere of water. The ground turned into a flood beneath him.
"Ultimate Water Mod."
His entire body glowed with blue energy, and massive waves rose around him.
Xypher whistled. "Damn, he wasn't joking about his power."
Lyra smirked, her own Ultra Wind Mod activating. Her wings of pure wind spread wide, her speed increasing beyond sight.
Arkan smirked. "You'll regret this, girl."
Lyra's anger flared. "Say that again, I dare you!"
Arkan unleashed a gigantic tidal wave, but Lyra dodged instantly, moving like a hurricane.
"Wind Tornado Strike!"
She sent a cyclone directly at Arkan, but he cut through it with a massive water blade.
"Not bad," he admitted. "But you're still too weak."
He vanished and reappeared behind her, slamming a water fist into her back.
BOOM!
Lyra crashed into the ground, coughing.
Arkan smirked. "See? Women can't—"
Before he could finish, Lyra's energy exploded, her power reaching a new peak.
She vanished from sight.
Arkan's eyes widened. "Where did—"
BAM!
A massive kick slammed into his chest, sending him flying.
Lyra smirked, appearing above him. "Who's weak now, huh?"
Arkan growled, summoning a colossal water serpent, which lunged toward Lyra.
"Tsunami Leviathan!"
Lyra spun mid-air, her wings glowing.
"Ultra Wind Mod: Divine Gale Annihilation!"
A massive storm erupted, slicing through the water serpent like paper.
Arkan gasped, but before he could react—
BAM!
Lyra's fist slammed into his face, sending him crashing into the ground.
The battlefield fell silent.
Arkan lay in the rubble, his power fading. He stared at the sky, defeated.
Arkan's Realization
For the first time, he had lost.
He clenched his fists. "I… lost… to a girl…"
Lyra landed next to him, offering a hand. "Still think women are weak?"
Arkan stared at her. Then, unexpectedly… he laughed.
He sat up, shaking his head. "You're strong. Stronger than me. I admit it."
Xypher smiled. "Glad you learned something."
Arkan sighed, looking at the sky. "Maybe… I've been a fool all along."
A New Ally
Instead of disappearing, Arkan stood up and joined Xypher and Lyra.
"I want to grow stronger… and find my true path. Let me fight alongside you," he said.
Lyra smirked. "Only if you stop being an arrogant jerk."
Arkan chuckled. "I'll try."
Xypher crossed his arms. "Alright. Welcome to the team."
With a new ally, their journey continued… but greater threats loomed ahead.
