Synopsis
Ava Perez, a restless girl from a quiet farming village in the Philippines, always craved adventure. But she never expected one to arrive in the form of Kael—the arrogant, dangerously alluring Prince of the Underworld. When a harmless game of "Summoning Spirits" goes terribly wrong, Ava unintentionally calls Kael into her world, tethering him to her through an unbreakable magical bond. Now, Kael is stranded in the human realm, furious and demanding answers. Ava, equally bewildered, wants nothing more than to send him back and return to her normal life. But breaking their connection isn't so simple—Kael is bound to her by magic older than time, and the key to severing the bond may lie in her own heart’s deepest desires. As the two unwilling partners embark on a perilous journey to undo the summoning, they encounter vengeful spirits, ancient curses, and a dark force that seems determined to keep Kael in the mortal world—at any cost. With danger closing in and secrets unraveling, Ava must decide: does she truly want to send Kael back, or has she summoned more than just a prince—has she summoned her fate?

Chapter 1 - underworld bride

Ava Perez lived a quiet life in a small farming village in the Philippines. Her days were filled with helping her parents on their farm, studying diligently, and dreaming of adventures beyond the rice fields. The eldest of four siblings, Ava was known for her sharp mind and fearless curiosity. She yearned for something extraordinary to happen, though she never imagined how much her wish would come true. One sunny morning, Ava's friend Alice told her about a strange game she saw online called Summoning Spirits. The activity was meant to be a playful exploration of local folktales, complete with mock incantations and theatrical scares. Ava, always ready for a thrill, eagerly agreed to play. She spent the evening poring over books and writing down what she thought was a harmless chant. The following day ava and her friends went to an abandoned building, the game began. her friends claughed and whispered as they recited their invented spells. When it was Ava's turn, she stood in the center of the room, her voice steady as she read aloud the words she had written.

Oh mighty forces, near and far,

From moonlit skies to shining star,

Bring forth the one with blazing fire,

To grant my wish or meet my desire!

Shakala bim, shakala boo,

Spirit of wonder, I summon you!"

For a moment, nothing happened. The room filled with nervous giggles. the lights flickerd a chill swept through the air, silencing the laughter. A faint shimmer appeared before Ava, growing brighter and brighter until a figure emerged. Gasps echoed around the room as the shimmering light faded, revealing a tall man with dark, flowing hair and sharp features. His crimson eyes blazed, his shirtless torso gleaming with a faint sheen as if he had been pulled from water.

"Who dared summon me?" he growled, his voice low and dangerous.

her friends screamed and scattered, leaving Ava frozen in place. Her heart pounded in her chest as she stared at the man—or was he something else entirely? He looked human, but his fangs and the unnatural glow of his eyes said otherwise.

"Answer me, human!" the man snapped, his sharp fingers flexing at his sides.

"I... I didn't mean to!" Ava stammered, her voice trembling.

The man's gaze narrowed. "Do you know what you've done? I was in the middle of a bath!" He gestured to his damp trousers, his irritation showing. Ava's fear was quickly replaced by indignation. "How was I supposed to know it would work? It was just a game! The man's anger faltered, replaced by mild amusement. "A game?" He tilted his head, studying her. "You're either very brave or very foolish." What... what are you?" Ava whispered.I am Kael, prince of the underworld," he replied. "And thanks to your meddling, I'm stuck here until the summoner"—he pointed at her—"releases me"How do I do that?" Ava asked, her voice steadying. Kael smirked. "That's the thing, human. You can't."

Kael's piercing red eyes didn't waver as he stared at Ava, a mix of frustration and intrigue on his face. "You can't," he repeated firmly, his tone leaving no room for argument. Ava's brow furrowed, her hands tightening into fists at her sides. "What do you mean I can't? There has to be a way! Kael raised an eyebrow, his lips curling into a sly grin. "Unless you're willing to die. Ava froze, her breath hitching. The weight of his words hung in the air like a thick fog, and then, almost instinctively, she chuckled—a soft, nervous sound that escaped her lips before she could stop it.

"Willing to die, indeed," she murmured under her breath. kael's eyes narrowed. "What was that you said?" His voice was sharp, commanding.

"Nothing," Ava replied quickly, her face flushing. "I said nothing. Kael stepped closer, his towering frame casting a shadow over her. "You humans are terrible liars. Ava swallowed hard, her heart racing. "Look, I don't know what kind of underworld drama you've got going on, but I didn't mean to summon you. I just want to fix this and go back to my normal life. Normal? Kael echoed, a hint of mockery in his tone. "You think you can summon a prince of the underworld and go back to normal?" Ava's frustration boiled over. "I didn't ask for any of this! If you're so powerful, why don't you fix it?" Kael's expression darkened, the humor fading from his face. "Because the bond of a summoning isn't something I can undo. It's bound by the rules of magic—your intent, your words, your soul. And now, I'm stuck here with you until we find a way to sever it." Ava's mind spun. She hadn't believed in magic, demons, or any of this before today. Now she was face-to-face with a supernatural being who claimed to be tied to her by some cosmic mistake. Fine," she said, exhaling sharply. If we're stuck together, then let's figure this out. What's the first step?" Kael studied her for a long moment, his fiery gaze softening just slightly. "You really are brave, aren't you?"

I'm desperate," Ava shot back. Kael's lips twitched, almost forming a smile. "The first step," he said slowly, "is to find out what tethered me here in the first place. The bond is tied to your intent—what were you thinking when you summoned me?"

Ava hesitated, her mind flashing back to the moment she recited the incantation. "I don't know," she admitted. "I just... I wanted something exciting to happen. My life felt so dull, and—"

Kael groaned, running a hand through his dark hair. You summoned me because you were bored? Hey! Don't make this my fault!" Ava snapped. Kael smirked. It is your fault.

Their argument was interrupted by a sudden, low rumble. The ground beneath them
