Scene: Dunphy House – The Yard Sale Setup
(The front yard is cluttered with random items—old furniture, knick-knacks, toys, and Phil's questionable "inventions." Claire stands by the driveway, holding up a sign that reads, "YARD SALE—EVERYTHING MUST GO!" Phil is next to her, proudly showing off a vase that's clearly seen better days.)
Claire: (Firmly) "Okay, Phil. This is happening. We need to get rid of all this junk before it starts taking over the entire house again."
Phil: (Nodding seriously) "I know, but—(pauses)—this vase has history. This was the first vase I ever bought for us!"
Claire: (Eyes him skeptically) "Phil, it's chipped and it smells like… something died in it."
Phil: (Hugging it) "But it's sentimental. It's the vase of our love!"
(Claire shakes her head, rolling her eyes as Phil sets the vase down on the table with pride.)
Phil: (Whispering to the vase) "Don't worry, you'll find your new owner."
(Claire walks off in exasperation as Phil keeps lovingly eyeing the vase.)

Scene: Dunphy House – Luke's "Inventions"
(Luke is at the edge of the driveway, surrounded by a bizarre collection of homemade gadgets. There's a weird contraption with a rubber band and a bottle cap, a jar of what looks like fake slime, and a box labeled "Invisible Ink—Guaranteed to Work!")
Luke: (Proudly) "Step right up, folks! Get your hands on the next big thing! No one's ever seen anything like it! The future is now!"
(A neighbor walks by, eyeing the weird "products." Luke pushes a jar of invisible ink into the person's hand.)
Luke: (Excitedly) "It's the future of writing! No one's going to know what you wrote! That's the magic of invisible ink!"
Neighbor: (Looking confused) "Uh… it's just water."
Luke: (Grinning) "That's where you're wrong, my friend. This ink is special. It's invisible… and you can't see it until you've… uh, really thought about it!"
(The neighbor shakes his head and walks off. Luke looks deflated for a second but quickly perks up as another customer approaches.)

Scene: Dunphy House – Haley vs. Alex: The Sales Competition
(Haley is standing next to a collection of trendy clothes that look like they came straight out of a boutique, while Alex is in front of a stack of old textbooks and "useful" gadgets, both wearing smug expressions.)
Haley: (Smiling slyly) "I'm going to make so much money today. Watch and learn, Alex."
Alex: (Confidently) "I'm not in this for the money. I'm going to make sure all these books go to the right person who'll actually use them."
Haley: (Leaning in) "Right. You're just hoping someone comes along and buys your nerdy stuff. But I'm going for the big sale. A little charm goes a long way."
(Haley straightens up and begins chatting up an elderly man who's eyeing a designer handbag. She uses her most irresistible smile.)
Haley: (Flirtatiously) "Oh, sir, I think this would look great on you. You know, this is an exclusive brand. One of a kind."
(The elderly man, who's clearly a bit taken with Haley's charm, hands her a wad of cash for the handbag.)
Haley: (Triumphantly to Alex) "One down. See? You can't beat charm."
Alex: (Unimpressed) "You're just using flattery. I'm going to sell my stuff to people who actually need it."
(Alex stands confidently by her pile of old textbooks as a college student walks by, scanning the stack. She makes her move.)
Alex: (Smartly) "This set of textbooks is perfect for anyone looking to get ahead in their studies. They're up-to-date and have all the latest info!"
College Student: (Pausing, intrigued) "Wait, really? Are you sure this is the latest edition?"
Alex: (Firmly) "Of course. These are all well-kept, and you'll get the best deal in town."
(The student buys the entire stack. Alex beams, glancing at Haley.)
Alex: (Smiling) "Now that's what I call a successful transaction."
Haley: (Grumbling) "Yeah, but it's not nearly as fun as my way."

Scene: Mitch & Cam's House – The Donation Disaster
(Cam and Mitch are holding a box of old clothes, staring in horror at a set of vintage (and very expensive) wine glasses they accidentally donated.)
Cam: (Panicking) "Oh no, Mitch! This was the set! The one we got for our anniversary. We can't let someone else have it!"
Mitch: (Calmly) "It's fine, Cam. It's just a set of glasses."
Cam: (Frantically) "Just a set of glasses? Mitch, this is priceless!"
(They rush back to the Dunphy house, where they find the box of donations already sitting on the lawn.)
Mitch: (To the neighbor) "Did someone pick up the box of donations already?"
Neighbor: (Shrugging) "I think someone took it earlier. Sorry!"
Cam: (Looking at Mitch) "What do we do now?"
Mitch: (Sighing) "Well, I guess we just have to come to terms with it. Let it go."
(They both sigh and head back, with Cam still holding the wine glasses' box in his arms.)

Scene: Jay & Gloria's House – Manny's "Antique Collecting"
(Jay is sitting on the couch, drinking coffee, as Manny excitedly drags in an old chair.)
Manny: (Excitedly) "Look what I found at the yard sale, Papa! A vintage chair! It's a rare piece from the 1950s."
Jay: (Squinting at the chair) "Manny, that looks like a broken-down chair from the junkyard."
Manny: (Defensively) "You don't understand, Papa! It's a classic. This is a great find!"
Jay: (Looking at the chair) "Yeah, a 'classic' if you want your back to hurt after five minutes."
(Gloria walks in, seeing Manny's find.)
Gloria: (Laughing) "Jay, relax. Manny's right. It's a statement piece. It's unique!"
Jay: (Dryly) "I'll stick with my recliner, thanks."
(Jay continues to sip his coffee, but Manny is already arranging the chair in the corner of the living room.)

Scene: Dunphy House – The Great Price War
(The yard sale is in full swing. Claire is trying to organize the chaos, while Phil is behind her, upselling random items to confused customers.)
Phil: (Holding up an old lamp) "This lamp? It's a masterpiece. It has a story. A story of how it once lit the night in a faraway land."
Customer: (Confused) "Uh, I'm just looking for a cheap lamp."
Phil: (Grinning) "Oh, this is cheap… but it's also priceless."
Claire: (Sighing) "Phil! We agreed—no stories. Just sell the items, get rid of the junk, and be done with it."
(But Phil continues to haggle with customers, each time making up more outlandish stories to sell random things.)
Phil: (To another customer) "This book? It's an ancient text. It was found in the lost tomb of Cleopatra's… cousin."
(Claire throws her hands up in exasperation as Phil continues to make deals.)
---
Scene: Dunphy House – The Aftermath
(The yard sale is winding down, and the family is exhausted. Claire and Phil sit in the backyard, a mountain of cash in front of them.)
Claire: (Tired) "Well, we sold most of it. We got rid of the junk. And I'm not sure how I feel about all the random stories Phil made up, but it worked."
Phil: (Grinning) "I told you, Claire. People love stories."
(Claire looks at the mountain of cash, then at the junk left in the yard.)
Claire: (Sighing) "I'm just glad it's over. No more yard sales for a while."
(Luke runs up, holding the invisible ink jar, proudly waving it in front of them.)
Luke: "Guess what, Mom and Dad! I just sold my invisible ink for $20!"
Claire: (Stunned) "You sold water for twenty dollars?"
Luke: (Grinning) "Yep! I'm a genius!"
Phil: (Proudly) "That's my boy."
(Claire looks at Phil in disbelief.)
Claire: (Shaking her head) "Next time we have a yard sale, no more invisible ink."
(Phil and Luke exchange a high-five as the camera zooms out, and the episode ends.)
