Soon, withing a day Ramesh delivered all the food to a big warehouse he rented that day. Sanjay disabbled the survellience camera and added his own camera drones, that became invisble with the surrounding.
He took delivered thousands of tons of food to the newly builded warehouse near his mansion. The warehouse is state of the art with temperature adjusment to keep the food cold and there are also multiple freezers he brought from the future world.
After informed the warehouse manager of it and left it to the management ai he brought newly. With the increase in population he needs an AI who could handle this efficently in his absence. Although he was the leader, but when there are so much reliable AI available, there is no need to use his brain to much.
And for more any important information, Iris is handler for all the AI he brought, these AI's will inform Iris and she would inform Sanjay.
After setting things here, Sanjay left for modern world once again to do the next mission to get drilling machines.
Using Iris, he searched for the best location to get everything in one go. The biggest mining site in India was in Jharkhand, a place rich in coal, iron, and other minerals. More importantly, it had all the machines he needed.
Without wasting time, he booked a flight and soon landed in Jharkhand. By the time he arrived, night had fallen, but the mining site was lit up as if it were daytime.
The massive floodlights illuminated the dusty, scarred land, where giant machines roared as they dug through the earth. The distant clanking of metal and the occasional sound of explosions echoed across the valley. Trucks loaded with coal rumbled along the roads, and conveyor belts transported raw materials deep into processing units.
Sanjay sat on a hill, overlooking the entire site, watching through his interface. This was one of India's most important mining areas, so security was tight.
Armed policemen and military personnel patrolled the perimeter in jeeps with mounted guns. Security checkpoints were placed at every major entrance, and drones occasionally hovered over key locations.
Sanjay narrowed his eyes. "Iris, show me the layout and locate the machines."
A detailed top-down blueprint appeared on his interface, covering a 15-kilometer radius. Iris had hacked into one of the satellites overhead, gaining real-time access to everything.
Clusters of red dots moved around—guards patrolling in regular patterns. A few green dots represented workers standing in groups, likely taking a break or having casual conversations.
Then, Iris highlighted a massive warehouse in the center of the site.
[Host, the machines have been located.]
Sanjay zoomed in on the warehouse feed. It was huge—easily the size of a football field. Dozens of machines were parked inside, including the advanced drilling rigs he needed.
But there was a problem.
[Host, the patrol frequency is high. Armed personnel pass by the warehouse every three minutes. Entering undetected will be difficult.]
Sanjay smirked. "Difficult, but not impossible."
He scanned the area, looking for an opening. To pull this off, he needed a diversion. A big one.
Sanjay's mind raced as he analyzed the situation. He couldn't just walk in and take the machines—there were too many armed guards, too many patrols. He needed a plan.
"Iris, find me something flammable near the warehouse," he commanded.
The interface shifted, scanning the area. A large fuel storage tank was marked 300 meters from the warehouse.
[Host, a diesel storage unit is located to the west. Causing an explosion there will force security to divert resources.]
He scanned the security footage and found a blind spot near the fence on the eastern side of the site.
There were no patrols in that section for at least two minutes per cycle. That was his entry point.
" Iris, make sure the camera can't see me."
He wore his mask that he previously worn during the rescuing operation of Raghav. He was wearing a complete black suit that he worn last time.
Sanjay descended from the hill, moving swiftly through the rocky terrain. Sticking to the shadows, he reached the fence within minutes. The area was deserted, just as he expected.
Pulling out a laser cutter, he silently sliced through the chain-link fence, creating just enough space to slip inside.
He looked both side, the road was empty.
He took out a gun from the back, and aimed towards the tank. He got the gun from Maya, it does not makes any sound even after breaking the sound barrier. He pressed the trigger.
A moment later—BOOM!
Flames shot into the sky as thick black smoke began to rise. Alarms blared across the mining site.
[Alert! Fire at the storage area! All security units respond immediately!]
Sanjay smirked. The bait was set.
As expected, the guards near the warehouse rushed toward the fire. The patrols thinned out, leaving the entrance wide open.
Sanjay slipped inside. Rows of powerful machines stood in front of him—excavators, drilling rigs, dump trucks. He focused on the most valuable ones.
One by one within seconds he transported almost 20 most important ones he needed. And ran away from the are using different route.
The next day, Sanjay returned home, but he didn't stay for long. Without wasting time, he activated his skill and stepped into the medieval world once again.
The moment he arrived, his mind was already on the next phase of his plan. Time was precious, and he had ensured none of it was wasted. While he was away, a select group of workers had been training in the VR world, learning how to operate the mining equipment.
Thanks to the accelerated time inside the simulation, each of them had gained the equivalent of two years of experience. They weren't just familiar with the machines—they had practiced every step of the mining process, from drilling to extraction, all while ensuring safety protocols were followed. Now, they were ready for real-world application.
Today marked a significant milestone. The first mining project was about to begin.
Sanjay had chosen a hill with massive mineral deposits, a location he had personally scanned and confirmed. But that wasn't the only reason he picked this spot. The hill stood at the farthest edge of his fief, hidden from prying eyes.
He exhaled, crossing his arms as he observed the land. Mining without the king's approval was illegal, but informing the capital carried its own risks. He had no idea how the so-called nobles would react if they learned about this operation. Would they advise the king to take back his fief? Or worse, would they increase his taxes under some pretext?
Sanjay scoffed. Like hell I'm going to fill those corrupt officials' pockets.
He was already supplying steel to the kingdom every month—that was more than generous. He wasn't about to give them a single gold coin more.
A loud mechanical whir snapped him out of his thoughts. One of the workers had climbed onto a drilling machine and powered it up.
The massive drill roared to life, its sharp metal teeth biting into the rocky ground. Dust and small stones shot into the air as it broke through the layers of earth. The rhythmic pounding of the drill filled the air, signaling the start of the operation.
Other workers quickly joined in, operating excavators and loaders to clear away the debris. They moved with practiced efficiency, their training paying off as they worked in perfect coordination.
Hours passed, and then—finally—the first chunks of iron-rich ore surfaced. A murmur of excitement spread among the workers. This was it. Their efforts had paid off.
Sanjay's lips curled into a smile as he knelt down, running his fingers over the rough, reddish-brown ore. I finally hit the iron vein. No more transporting raw materials from the modern world. From now on, this world will provide everything I need.
Iron was the backbone of progress—needed for weapons, infrastructure, and even shipbuilding. With this mine up and running, his dependence on the modern world's resources would drastically decrease.
But just as he was basking in his success, a sudden notification from Iris interrupted him.
[ Host, Rajiv from the Kalyan family has just entered your fief. ]
Sanjay's expression darkened. What the hell is he doing here?
