Year 2010, there was three friends exploring deep in the woods, with the three of them having a extra battery when their flashlight goes out, the moon covered by the clouds, the silent chirping of the birds, with the owls inspecting and eyeing on them with their circular eyes.
"Why did we even went here?.."
Josh, the third friend spoke with a slight shaken voice, being a scaredy cat Infront of them, despite his good looks and high grades at High school, he was yet, still a coward.
"Stupid, stop being a damn nuisance, it's pretty quiet and dark here.."
Marra, the second friend, who is the bravest of them all, even having bad grades in his high school, he always stands out for anything, even embarrass himself Infront of everyone in the cafeteria, like he had balls of steel to do everything.
"Once we know if the rumors are true.. we'll eventually capture it with my phone, then we'll run."
Samuel, the first friend, and our main character for the story, not being quite brave but yet, he had been in abandoned explorations, he unfortunately quit because of his reckless actions, so he was now exploring through the darkness, to find out if the rumors are true.
Days ago, they had found a piece of paper in a large tree, during fall, and it's handwriting was pretty not that good, but they understood it fully.. in the paper written;
Page 435: Is this our end?
There was a tall.. black.. cat.. with long arms and legs.. going straight at us.. I don't know what was it.. but it was like a monster.. a terrifying yet horrific one.. if you see this.. I'm unfortunately dead, probably our bodies have been eaten or decapitated, but i wrote this while i was running.. so i probably scattered all 435 pages in the woods.. running while writing may be hard!, but i.. well.. i have a trait for it.. oh gosh it's getting nearer.. oh gosh.. oh gosh.. oh gosh.

There was rumors about it, and this was the last page of the book what Danny K Johnson wrote, it was like a journal, a secret thing about some "tall black cat", and there was also a whole book left by the man Trevor Henderson, stating all creatures in the book, Josh had read all of it with his friends, stating that probably.. the Tall Black Cat, was the urban creature so called.. "Cartoon Cat."
They had no clue if it was real or not, nor wanna believe it yet, but they wanted to figure out themselves, so after many days, they prepared their belongings and wondered off to the dark, through deep woods, they told their mom's that they we're going to go sleepover, obviously they lied, because they ran off to the forest without telling the truth.
They all knew that if they die.. nobody is going to have the clue on what happened to them, or even find their bodies, so they needed to be extra careful, be cautious and vigilant, after all they are prepared for something to happen.
Back in present, the three of them spotted a nearby large house in the middle of the forest, it was pretty much abandoned and moss is scattered around it, inside and outside, it was built by bricks, with rusty looks, when they went inside the door creeking, with the handle being absolutely broken, it was pretty much in ruins, all dusty and looked like it was back in the 18th century, the lanterns we're broken so it was all dark, the eerie atmosphere around them as they explore the main sector of the house with a deadly bacteria following them at every step they take.
Their footsteps echoing through the entire house quietly, with many insects around them, cockroaches, rats, ants and more, suddenly they heard a sound behind them, all of their flashlight we're pointed behind them by instinct, it was just nothingness, Marra scoffed, rolling his eyes, with Samuel sighing deep, but Josh almost peed his pants down by that sound.
"W..why did w..we.. even g..go here?.."
Josh was terrified while he walks beside them, having Nyctophobia, a fear when he was just a toddler, still lurks through him this day, but Marra turned his head towards him, patting his back gently, with a smile, spoke without shaking a bit after that sudden sound.
"Come on!, we went here because we needed you!, overrall you're the smartest in the class ya'know?."
Josh looked at him, with a shaken voice.. but a little relieved and bravery by his words.
"R..right.. i can.. do this!.."
Samuel interferes through their conversation, with his hooded eyes, his voice calming and soft.
"Don't boost up confidence yet.. we might possibly die by your energy."
Josh got scared by in instant, hid behind Marra like a kid, he laughed a little then patted his brownish straight hair.
"Aw!, look at little josh!, being a kid to a random stranger!, of course you have fear of the dark.. but why don't you be very brave like me?, every girl has confessed to you but you rejected them because you we're shy right?."
He spoke with a firm voice, Josh had already hold his friends about every girls confessing to him often, being popular on the class due to his blue eyes and magnifying appearance, along with his smartness that necessary for their exploration.
"Y.. yeah.."
He said as his eyes was looking away from him, their tracks stopped when they saw a piece of paper in the wall, it was taped in each corner for it not to fall, a piece that's probably from the scattered pages around the forest by Danny K Johnson, it was a clear handwriting to them, written;
Page 244: A Large Creature
"We saw this large house.. it was all in ruins like it was extremely old, while it is by the walls, probably back in the 18th century, but there was absolutely no lanterns at all, so i needed my flashlight the entire time until it drains, i assure you, don't explore deeper to this house because when I went upstairs.. i didn't want to continue, because i saw a entity.. it was tall.. and.. i couldn't see what the characteristics are.. but it was quite tall, and plus, don't also explore the basement, I don't know how i survived while exploring the basement of this large house.. but for short, don't explore deeper."
It says that they cannot explore deeper, written by Danny, after all, they know his death, by the last page 435, now they knew that they cannot explore much of this house, so they eventually turned around then walked to the opposite direction, Samuel grabbing the piece of paper off the wall then storing it in his pocket, curious to see all 435 pages of Danny K Johnson.
They eventually went outside, the refreshing air savors them, the moon was now lighting up the entire forest, and there was no creatures around, so they knew we're in a safe zone eventually, but they won't be safe for long enough.
