1st POV:
In the vast emptiness of the void, a stray soul began to wake up. "W-where am I?" the soul asked, looking around, only to see dark clouds surrounding it.
"Oh, you're finally awake."
The soul was startled by the sudden voice. It turned around and saw a strange figure in a purple robe with golden accents. The figure's face was hidden behind the robe's hood.
"W-who are you, and where are we?" asked the soul, its voice tinged with confusion and a slight fear.
The robed figure let out a small laugh at the soul's reaction. "There's no need to be afraid. I'm not here to harm you. Quite the opposite, actually. I'm here to help you. I'm what you would call a ROB."
"A ROB, you say? So that means I'm dead or something? I don't remember much before coming here," the soul concluded, still feeling disoriented.
"That's because half of your soul was wiped clean by the cycle of reincarnation. That's also how you ended up here. But enough about that. Let's get to the fun part," the ROB replied.
"Fun part?" the soul asked, genuinely curious.
"Yes, the fun part, where I send you to another world. You'll get three wishes. By the way, the world you choose doesn't count as a wish, and you can't ask for something too overpowered. It'll ruin the balance of the world. Now, choose carefully."
The soul's excitement grew as it heard what the ROB said. It thought to itself, I can't believe this is happening to me! But I need to choose quickly. Don't want to keep a ROB waiting for too long. Hmm... which world should I choose? There are so many—Naruto, Dragon Ball, Bleach, One Piece... After a moment of contemplation, the soul spoke up.
"I want to go to the Fairy Tail world. Is that okay?"
"Of course, it's okay. Now, what are your wishes?" the ROB replied, as it made itself something to drink.
The soul's heart raced with anticipation. "Then, my first wish is to remember all the meta-knowledge I've lost during the soul cycle."
The ROB responded with a hint of amusement. "Granted. It's a wise wish to have meta-knowledge. If you use it right, you could accomplish a lot. I'll even throw in some things you didn't know. Now, next wish."
The soul eagerly spoke its second wish. "I want Destruction God Slayer magic, and I want it to be the first generation of Slayer magic."
The ROB, mid-drink, spat it out in surprise. "I thought I told you not to make any super overpowered wishes!" it exclaimed, shocked at the absurdity of the request.
"E-eh?! Is there anything you can do about it? Please, I really want that magic!" the soul pleaded, desperation in its voice.
"Hmmm," the ROB thought for a moment. "Okay, I'll make a compromise. You'll get the magic, but you'll start from the very bottom. Don't expect to destroy much at the beginning—it'll be a purple energy with minor decay effects. As a price, you won't be able to use any other magic. Deal?"
The soul panicked slightly upon hearing the price. "Isn't it a bit unfair to not be able to use any other magic, especially for a weak version of the magic?"
"No," the ROB replied. "It will start weak, but it can grow stronger with training. You take the deal or not? I don't have all day."
The soul hesitated, then steeled its resolve. "Yes, I'll take it. And for my third wish, I want a mastery system that helps me master skills faster."
"Okay, granted. I'm surprised you still took the magic, even starting from the bottom. Most people want to start strong and get stronger without much effort. As a bonus, I'll help you with your god seed, so you won't go insane when it blooms. Now, go to your next life." The ROB sent the soul away with a wave of its hand.
"Thank you," the soul said before disappearing from the void.
