In a room belonging to the male dormitory inside the Star Academy
"What a boring world," Shin complained as he looked out the large window of his room.
Shin was one of the academy's star students, so he was one of the few people to receive a deluxe room from the academy, with other study-related perks.
Shin is the kind of person who fought for his place in the wealthy class with strength and intelligence, two years after he enrolled at the academy.
He has become one of the most popular students here, although he is quite aloof, but his academic performance speaks for itself.
He is someone who is obsessed with continuous learning and planning ahead from a young age and likes to rely on his own abilities to develop them and continuously improve himself, which is why he doesn't talk much.
That's why he doesn't talk much to others and doesn't like to argue with them, especially students from this academy whom he considers to be as arrogant fools who are dependent on their parents.
"Their system of not going out on Sundays is annoying, it's like being in a fucking prison." He went to his bed to complain about this academic system that stipulates not going out on Sundays, even though it's a day off.
not to go out on Sundays even though it's a day off, not only them, but even the professors and the administration stay at the academy to do their work.
Shin suddenly felt the floor beneath him begin to shake violently, and quickly realized that the dresser next to him was about to fall on him, so he quickly got up and grabbed it to keep it from falling.
' Earthquake?' That was Shin's first thought after seeing the ground shaking and the furniture shaking and falling, luckily he wasn't the type who keeps a lot of things, so the damage wasn't too bad, As he was holding on to the cabinet to prevent it from falling, he suddenly felt an invisible force hit his head that made him stagger for a while, if it wasn't for his high physical strength, he would have already fallen unconscious.
The pain lasted for 10 seconds before it disappeared as if it had never existed and everything went back to normal.
But Shin wasn't worried about the pain anymore or the cold that embraced his body after the window broke from the shaking.
[24:00:00]
"What is this now?" He repeated under his breath as his mind tried to figure out what the strange blue screen in front of him was.
"Aaaaargh!"
In the midst of his chaotic thoughts, he heard a scream coming from outside, without any thought he got up from the floor and headed towards the window to see what was happening, but What he saw made his eyes widen in surprise.
Dozens of students were running everywhere, their screams were deafening, the issue was not here but why they were running...they were running to save their lives
from the strange creatures.
Dozens of zombie-like creatures were running after them and if not for their slow speed, all the students would be dead already, not just zombies but even some insects many times larger than their original size want to kill them.
In front of Shin's eyes, a girl about his age wearing the red uniform of the academy was also running and screaming for her life Behind her, a fist-sized bee was following her
"Help!!!!! please someone save me!" she screamed for help, but who would save her when everyone was fighting for their lives, the bee's speed was faster than a zombie's, so it didn't take long to reach her.
"Save me!" Unfortunately, the bee didn't let her finish her sentence before it rained its sharp needle down on her back, and she fell unconscious.
It wasn't even minutes before the girl's body began to change into gray skin and began to decompose, turning into a zombie as well.
"What a sight." Shin was calmly staring down at everything that was happening, as if this was just a normal occurrence in his life, and what's more, a cold smile began to form on his face.
"Finally some fun"
Boom! Boom!
Suddenly he was interrupted by a banging on the door that was clearly not from a companion.
"Well, from what's going on, I think this screen in front of us has a secret, and to find out, I need to stay alive until the 24 hours are up." With a smile, Shin headed for the door, with a wooden stick in his hand, which he took from a chair that was there.
"So what you need to do is....stay alive."
