Chapter 1 - Chapter 1 Title

"Can I have any cosmetics associate come to aisle 75 for customer service?"

The call came through the intercom, and it echoed in the ears of an exceptionally young beautiful woman with long, flowing black hair.

Standing at 5'7", she was a striking figure even in her standard sales associate uniform.

Her curves were undeniable—her hourglass body and fuller figure spoke of someone more suited for the runway than a customer service desk.

The outline of her hips, her generous bust, and her shapely legs were noticeable, even beneath her uniform.

She exuded a sensuality that made it difficult to imagine her as anything other than an impossibly beautiful model.

And yet, there she was, walking toward aisle 75, leaving behind her cart piled high with products she'd been tasked to restock.

She approached the aisle quickly, her heels clicking on the polished floor, her stride confident and purposeful.

As she rounded the corner into aisle 75, she found exactly what she hadn't been expecting—a man who looked like he'd stepped straight out of a high-fashion magazine.

The man was impossibly handsome. With chiseled features, piercing blue eyes, and the sort of strong jawline that could carve glass, he was easily the most attractive person she had ever seen.

Standing at an imposing 6'3", he towered over her. His business suit was tailored perfectly, hugging his broad shoulders and emphasizing the powerful muscles of his chest and arms.

He exuded an air of wealth and power, with an almost palpable charisma that filled the space around him. His body was athletic, but his presence seemed to dwarf any other man in the vicinity.

The woman's breath hitched in her chest as she took in the sight of him, her heart rate inexplicably spiking. He wasn't just handsome—he was breathtakingly, almost intimidatingly attractive.

For a moment, she stood frozen, aware of how unprofessional she must look just staring at him. Yet, her mind could barely focus on anything else but him.

Despite the fluttering nerves in her stomach, she forced herself to act, plastering a friendly customer service smile on her face and walking toward him.

As she did, she tried to compose herself, shaking off the unexpected surge of attraction. She was at work, and she had a job to do.

"Hello, good morning! How can I help you today?" she asked, her voice steady and professional, though her pulse still raced.

The man glanced at her chest, his gaze briefly dropping to her name tag, which was pinned just above her left breast. She frowned, an instinctive reaction to his obvious glance.

He was lewd and disrespectful, wasn't he? But just as quickly, her irritation began to melt away when he spoke.

His voice was deeper than she expected—rich, resonant, and velvety in a way that made every word feel like it was tailored just for her.

Sexy!

"Hi, Juliet," he said, and her name sounded like a song in his mouth.

"You're exactly who I was hoping to see. I'm looking for a particular perfume. I saw it online and noticed you have two remaining in stock. I wonder if you can help me find it?"

His gaze, which had initially settled on her chest, now met her eyes with a calm intensity. Juliet's heart raced even more at the sound of her name from his lips.

His voice was so commanding, so deep, that she could feel the hairs on her arms standing on end. It was as if the very air around him had become charged with some sort of magnetic pull.

She was now acutely aware of the scent of his cologne—a spicy, musky fragrance that seemed to wrap around her, making it difficult to concentrate.

She inhaled sharply, feeling an odd mixture of dizziness and excitement course through her veins.

She managed to regain a little composure, though her voice sounded a little breathier than she intended.

"Of course, I can help with that," she said, her professional mask slipping back into place. But there was no mistaking the subtle quiver in her voice, a sign of the raw attraction she was struggling to suppress.

Juliet's mind raced as she tried to focus on the task at hand. She swallowed, still trying to shake off the way her body was reacting to him.

Her eyes dropped for just a moment to take in his appearance once again, and her breath caught in her throat. He looked like something out of a dream—handsome, strong, and impossibly well put-together.

And for some reason, he was looking at her like she was exactly what he needed.

"I've seen the perfume online," he continued, his eyes never leaving hers.

"It's a rare scent, a limited edition, I believe. If you could point me in the right direction, I'd appreciate it."

Juliet took a deep breath to steady herself, trying to ignore the heat pooling in her stomach. She smiled, nodding.

"Can you tell me the name of the product?" she asked, doing her best to sound like she was in control.

Her eyes flicked briefly to the shelves behind him, trying to distract herself, but every time her gaze fell back on him, it was like an invisible thread pulled her attention back to his face.

The way he looked at her was almost intoxicating. It was like he could see right through her, like he knew exactly what kind of effect he was having on her.

She took a step closer to him, her hand already reaching for her notepad. The handsome man said the product name.

"I'll check the stock for you right away," she added, keeping her voice as steady as she could.

As she turned to head toward the perfume section, she couldn't shake the feeling that something had shifted between them.

The tension in the air was thick now, palpable, and no matter how hard she tried to ignore it, Juliet couldn't help but wonder if the man standing in front of her was just as affected as she was.
