Chapter 1 - Ch 1

The lights were suddenly switched on as Yun-ho woke up. He got up from his bed, rubbing his eyes. This wasnt his bedroom? Well it was when he was 15! Was he still dreaming? Or did he go back to the past somehow??? He pinched himself to check if he was dreaming or not, but he wasn't. He looked around the room, but everything seemed normal to him? He got up from his bed, and walked to the bathroom to wash his face. As he washed his face, he noticed how young he looked. His face was less masculine and leaner, and he had no signs of eyebags.

He raised his eyebrow in confusion. What was going on? As he look's into the mirror, admiring his younger face, a System pops up. It looks like a small, floating hologram.

"Host, you must be confused. Let me explain your current situation. You're currently reliving your life from the age of 15, but with the knowledge and skills you gained up until now."

The System seems almost cheerful as it explains the situation to Yun-oh. "In this simulation, you'll have the chance to make different choices and become an idol, all while improving your physical and mental abilities along the way. You'll also have access to a set of special skills that will help you on your journey!"

The System pauses for a moment before continuing.

"Oh, and there's one more thing. I'll be your companion through this experience, guiding you and assisting you in any way I can." "Now, what skill do you think will be the most useful for you in your journey as an idol?"

The System displays a holographic list of potential skills for Yun-oh to select from. They include things like 'Stage Presence,' 'Vocal Skills,' 'Dancing Abilities,' and even 'Charisma.' Yun-ho sighs. He knows exactly what the most important skill is. He clicks on 'stage presence' "Excellent choice, Host!"

The System seems pleased with your selection and a small notification appears in front of you.

"Stage Presence has been selected as your starting skill. With this skill, you'll have an innate ability to command attention and connect with audiences during performances. This will help you stand out as a captivating and engaging idol on stage!" the system seems satisfied with your choice in skill. you hear a soft knock on your door again "hey are you in there?" the voice from the other side of the door calls out. the door creaks open a little as you hear a familiar voice "oh! you're awake! i just wanted to wake you up.. the ceo needs to talk to you.. well all the trainees aswell. So im just checking to see if you're awake?" The trainee was Kwon Seowon, he was close friend of Yun-oh's. He was leaning against the door frame, a warm smile plastered across his face. He noticed the confusion etched on Yun-oh's face and couldn't help but ask, "Hey, everything okay? You look a bit dazed." He entered the room, closing the door behind him. He took a seat on the edge of the bed, Yun-oh . "Seriously, you look like you've seen a ghost or something," he chuckled, trying to lighten the mood. "Did you have a weird dream or something?" Seowon knew Yun-oh well enough to know that something was off. He could sense the slight tension in Yun-oh's shoulders and the way he's avoiding eye contact. "Hey, you can talk to me, you know?" he said softly, his tone full of concern. "Is there something bothering you?" Seowon had always been there for him, ever since you both became trainees together. He had supported him throughout the ups and downs of trainee life, and Yun-ho considered him his closest friend. Now, as he looked at you with worried eyes, he wanted nothing more than to help him through whatever was troubling him. Seowon reached out and placed a hand on Yun-oh's shoulder. "You don't have to keep everything bottled up inside," he said gently. "It's not good for you. I'm here to listen, whatever it is." He squeezed Yun-oh's shoulder reassuringly, hoping to provide some comfort. He hated seeing his friend like this. He knew Yun-oh had always been strong, but everyone had their breaking point. He silently cursed himself for not noticing your struggle sooner. But now, he was here for Yun-ho, ready to listen and offer support in any way he could. "Its nothing." Yun-oh sighs. "I just had a weird dream." Yun-ho lies. He wonders how did this happen? How did he end up in the past? And whats with the game system? Seowon raised an eyebrow skeptically, not entirely convinced by Yun-oh's explanation. "Weird dream, huh?" he mused, crossing his arms. "Well, it must have been quite a dream to have you looking so out of sorts." He studied Yun-oh's face, trying to gauge if there was more to the story. "You know you can tell me if it's something more, right?" he said, his voice tinged with worry. Seowon had a knack for seeing through people's facades. He had known Yun-oh long enough to recognize his tells. He was certain there was something more to the story, but he didn't want to pry if Yun-oh wasn't ready to open up. Seowon rubbed the back of his neck, his expression contemplative. "Well, if you say it's nothing, I'll take your word for it," he said reluctantly. "But if there's ever anything bothering you, you know I'm here, yeah?" He reached out to give Yun-oh's shoulder a comforting pat. "Just don't go shutting yourself off from everyone, okay? I care about you, and I want to make sure you're alright." Seowon's concern was genuine, his words coming from a place of deep affection for his friend. He knew that Yun-oh tended to bottle things up, often trying to handle his problems by himself. But he also knew that everyone needed support sometimes, and he was willing to be there for Yun-oh whenever he needed him.
