For Riven, it didn't matter where he farmed monsters—it was all the same.
Since he was heading to Firefly Town, he might as well take the opportunity to kill Elias a few times. Two birds with one stone…
Although he couldn't eliminate him completely, he could at least force him offline and then find a way to get rid of him for good!
"Also, I remember Snowfall is in Firefly Town as well."
"Maybe I'll run into her…"
Sylvia, codename Snowfall, was one of the core managers of the Godslayer Guild in Riven's previous life. Her class was Dawnfeather Oracle!
The Dawnfeather Oracle was an extremely powerful hidden priest class.
She possessed a white bird that could assist in healing and bestow buffs.
Although Lyra also had a hidden class—Life Priest—she was nothing more than a pampered young lady with little combat experience.
In the previous life, Lyra had always stayed behind Riven, focusing solely on healing and buffing him.
She had always been under Riven's protection.
But Sylvia was a different story—she had once soloed an Epic-level Boss!
She had been Riven's most trusted lieutenant.
"If I meet her, I'll bring her into Marcus's party."
With Sylvia in the team, it would naturally push out Lyra, another priest.
Riven didn't want any unnecessary variables interfering with his progress.
And Lyra was that variable.
Simply put, Riven didn't care what happened to her as long as she stayed out of his way!
Moreover, suggesting this would also let him test Marcus's reaction.
This time around, Riven had progressed too fast, and he still wasn't sure of the current stance of the officials. This would be a good opportunity to observe...
Firefly Town
Firefly Town was one of the starting towns in the Riverbay City Region.
Riven used Invisibility, activated his daily free teleport, and arrived in the town without a sound!
Compared to the bustling Shell Town, Firefly Town was much quieter.
Although there were plenty of players walking around, it wasn't overcrowded.
Some were setting up stalls in the town square, calling out their wares.
Others, glowing with white light, were appearing in the center of the square—clearly respawned players who had just died, their faces looking grim.
Riven took a quick tour of the town.
He didn't see Elias, nor did he see Sylvia.
Just then, he overheard a group of newly revived players chatting:
"Move it! We can't let someone else snatch the last hit! That Silver-tier Boss is down to half HP!"
"F*cking hell, that Elias bastard! He's hoarding all the loot with his harem of fangirls. Who the hell can compete with that?!"
"I don't get it. He's just a small-time celebrity. Why does he have so many brain-dead fangirls?"
"I don't care. I refuse to let that pretty boy get away with it today!"
Cursing under their breath, the players rushed toward the outskirts of town.
Riven raised an eyebrow.
"Oh? A lead already?"
"Elias is outside fighting a Silver-tier Boss? And he's surrounded by his fangirls?"
A smirk appeared on Riven's face.
He could imagine it—if "Shadow" hadn't appeared, if Lyra had spawned in Firefly Town, she probably would've been one of those fangirls as well.
Elias…
This guy wasn't even a hidden class. He had manually selected "Mage"—purely for the flashy skills.
By relying on his harem of fangirls, he rose quickly in the early game. But by mid-game, his potential was already showing its limits. By late-game? He was completely obsolete.
Somehow, he had even found out that Riven, one of the world's top 100 players, had a sister who was once his fan.
Whatever the case, this time around, Riven wouldn't let Elias enjoy himself.
First, he would force him offline.
Then, once he extracted his abilities into the real world…
He'd kill Elias for real.
Riven followed the furious players out of the town.
Remaining in stealth, he carefully reactivated stealth whenever it was about to run out, always finding a hidden spot to refresh the effect.
Once out of town, they entered a dark forest.
Then, they arrived at a sinister valley!
"This is the Level 5 monster zone—Wailing Gorge."
"The monsters here should be Blaze Fiends and Shackled Horrors."
Blaze Fiends were long-range fire-element creatures with high attack power. However, their attack pattern was simple—they just threw fireballs.
Shackled Horrors were melee monsters bound in chains, attacking with vicious bites.
Both types of creatures had disturbingly grotesque facial features.
Weaker players might even get scared and log out rather than face them…
Soon, as Riven entered the valley, he heard the chaotic sounds of battle and shouting.
Among them, numerous female voices were cursing angrily—their tones were young, yet their profanity was shockingly aggressive.
Riven crept closer…
In the center of the valley, a three-meter-tall, two-headed Blaze Fiend was spewing blood-red flames in all directions!
This was a Silver-tier Boss.
Standing over three meters tall, its entire body was engulfed in crimson flames. It had two heads, both eyeless, with grotesquely grinning mouths.
It also had four arms, each one bursting with fire, allowing it to attack four different targets simultaneously!
Surrounding the Boss, several players were attacking it.
Some were even attacking each other!
In the midst of the chaos, a figure in black robes wielding a staff stood arrogantly, surrounded by a horde of fangirls.
Elias.
His in-game alias was "Heaven-Defying Archmage"—a name so embarrassingly cringeworthy it hurt to read.
Yet, his fangirls worshipped him for it.
Several players attempted to attack Elias, but they were blocked by his devoted fangirls.
These women were willing to die for him, using their own bodies as shields to protect their "Elias-oppa."
Corpses littered the battlefield.
Some belonged to his fangirls.
Some belonged to the players trying to kill him.
Elias, along with his five female party members, continued attacking the Silver-tier Boss—the Two-Headed Blaze Fiend!
That's right.
Elias's entire team—including himself—was made up of six Mages.
Tanks? Healers?
Who needs them?
The fangirls surrounding him were his natural meat shields!
As for healers?
He never even took damage. Why would he need one?
The moment he entered Eclipse of Eternity, Elias had only one goal:
Cast spells. Farm mobs. Collect loot.
