Chapter 6 - The legendary cultivation technique

"Farmer?"

Rune immediately felt a surge of curiosity. He was eager to learn what the children of these legendary farmers looked like.

He walked toward the restaurant with steady steps, his eyes gleaming with curiosity.

As he approached the entrance, the crowd parted automatically, allowing him to get closer. When he reached the door, he heard loud laughter filling the place.

His eyes landed on the young man they were claiming was the son of a second-stage farmer.

The young man was slim, wearing a shiny yellow outfit with a phoenix pattern on it, and his yellowed teeth revealed traces of sugar on his face.

"So this is the farmer's son?" Rune wondered in astonishment.

But what really caught his attention was the old yellow paper lying on the table in front of him. Rune immediately felt the importance of the paper; it emitted a faint aura similar to the one he had sensed when he discovered the large stone in the cave.

"So, this is the legendary farming technique, huh?" said a girl with black hair and brown eyes, wearing a blue dress. Her name was Lisa.

"Of course," replied the young man, Shu, proudly, smiling.

"Then, can we become farmers if we use it?" Lisa asked eagerly.

"Can anyone become a farmer? It's not that simple. I alone have the potential to become a farmer." Shu said as he pulled Lisa towards him, smiling.

Rune's curiosity was at its peak; all he wanted was to snatch that paper from Shu's hands. But he hesitated when he looked at the young man, no older than seventeen, and suddenly felt a sense of danger.

"He seems stronger than me," Rune thought to himself.

Shu took the paper, carefully rolled it up, placed it back into its cover, and returned it to the table before resuming his drinking.

Rune sneaked through the crowd and took a seat a little farther from Shu, enduring the feeling of waiting.

Hours passed slowly until midnight, when the crowd dispersed.

Shu was heavily intoxicated from the excessive drinks and fell into a deep sleep.

Rune seized the opportunity. He left his seat and slowly made his way to Shu's table. He approached carefully, and in one swift movement, grabbed the cover from the table and sped off.

Once he had distanced himself enough, he entered a narrow, dark alley and began heading home.

"Maybe I'll get myself into trouble for this... but never mind, I'll keep it until I memorize it and return it just as it was," Rune thought to himself as he walked.

He sat on his bed, a small lamp beside him illuminating the room. He looked at the cover he had taken. It seemed ordinary on the outside, but Rune knew that what was inside was far more precious than it appeared.

He carefully opened the cover, reaching inside to grab the farming technique. As soon as his hand touched the paper, an immense amount of information flooded his mind, and he felt an intense dizziness. His ability to process information was much higher than his peers, but the sheer volume of it almost made his brain explode from nausea.

Suddenly, a blue screen appeared in front of him, displaying:

**Congratulations to the host for transitioning to the original world**

"What???" His head burned with a sharp pain, and then he fainted.
