"I give you, the martial arts training dummies! Be amazed!" his voice was full of vigor. It seemed he was proud to present it.
As for Rumie, he was looking forward to it. Knowing that it was a gift for his coming of age. He would surely treasure it as an heirloom.
They were in the underground storage room that has light stones on the ceiling. Glowing stones that were giving off radiance throughout the year. The walls were seen having cobwebs and as well as curtains varying from red and white.
The place was full of items that were covered with white cloths that were full of dust. The room felt warm despite the moisture that could be seen on the walls. It was peculiar as the room was under their house and it was not cold outside. The room smelled dust and Rumie braced his nose for an upcoming chaotic irritation.
His grandpa grabbed the hem of the cloth that was covered with what seemed to be a tall humanoid figure. He then pulled the hem and removed the cloth that covers them.
Poof!
Clouds of dust were seen by naked eyes and it assaulted the nose of the two; as well as the eyes. He felt proud to introduce the new items he had while his hands were on his waist, eyes being closed.
But such a pitch to introduce his artwork was soon followed by coughs and wheezing sounds. He failed terribly.
Rumie coughed at the sheer dust that covered them and raised his suspicions, "Is this hidden training? Like to practice breathing while inhaling dust?"
He asked while being worried, though if it was true, then his grandpa was going insane.
"What's with the dust? It tasted good!" Rumie smiled with tears falling from his eyes. Though it was not tears of joy for sure.
"Really?" Thyriel was confused.
"Nope of course not, are you dumb? How did dust taste good in the first place?" Rumie spitted bars. Though it might not be good in its outcome. But still, he was looking forward to it.
"Are you making me a fool?" Thyriel then was agitated. He bit his lower lips then his eyes pierced him with a predatory glare.
Whip! Whip!
With just a flick, a whip was seen being held by his grandpa. Rumie gulped, a bitter smile was seen and his eyes were sad.
"No, what I meant was my eyes could taste them...it wept a bit. Do you know why it was salivating?" he asked. His hands were raised from his waist towards his side.
"Anyways why did you hide them here?" Rumie dispersed the ongoing war that was about to break out. Sighing in the last seconds that could be his last peaceful moments of life on this day.
"They were unused for many years. I also stopped using them after reaching grandmaster level," Lucian then wiped the dummies with the cloth.
"Ah, I see," Rumie replied with his mind cleared up a bit.
"It is yours now," Thyriel then patted one of the shoulders of the steel dummy.
Upon looking at the dummies, they all looked like humans. All have each type of material used. One was wood, one was leather, one had iron, and the last was steel.
"I felt proud to be one of its researchers. Sigh the times have passed so fast. I will introduce you to the training dummies! They were made from our research of golem magic that uses materials as bodies. Combining alchemy, spirit magic, and mechanical research, resulted in the birth of these prototypes," Thyriel then turned his gaze on him.
"I will teach you how to make your training dummy in the future. Specifically the mechanical research, spirit magic, and golem magic," Lucian said to him.
"But the martial arts used were all taught by us. If you have high aptitude in martial arts, then you will integrate it into the spirit magic used in the process of making the codes of the Artificial Intelligence of the Golem," Lucian explained further.
"How do I make them move?" Thyriel asked. Thyriel then told him the activation key, "Awaken!"
"Next was to set the level. The levels are Level 1 to 100," he said to him.
"I will leave this to you for now. Don't try it yet as you might get trashed or meet an accident," Lucian then left the room then told him that he would buy food for dinner before he closed the door.
Parthenax and Thyriel then prepared to leave. Rumie then waved them goodbye and then smirked. Mischief soon arises inside his mind.
His father then went to buy food in the city with his dragon, leaving him with the dummies. He then went to the room where the dummies were located and then an idea came into mind. He wanted to try out the strength of the dummies against his Earth Martial arts.
For him, it was the best tool to measure the prowess of Earth's martial arts. An excitement was flooding his heart. Filling his lust for a satisfying battle.
He was gifted with a martial arts training dummy. An artifact dummy that could move like a martial artist. A full set from Newbie to Master level in the storage room. It was an exciting gift for him especially when he was a martial artist.
With it, he thought that he will try the wood dummy first. He then remembered the command. Trying its prowess first then next.
"Awaken!"
"Set level to 100!"
He felt on edge and his feeling of excitement was on the roof. Making him bite his lower lips to calm himself. But as he tried to use the command, all responded.
They all moved and they all made their stance, ready to fight him at once. Their eyes glowed and all looked at him. They soon moved and then breathed out steam from their mouths.
"Whoa whoa whoa, I only asked one! One at a time!" Rumie then gulped his saliva. They all attacked at once, "Ahhhhhh!!! Help!"
