(Dagger Forme)
Description: This Pokemon's dagger blades are composed of extremely sharp, pressurized water, capable of cleanly slicing through solid steel. When Aegislash attacks it rapidly slashes at its foe, continuously chaining its attacks and leaving behind a spiralling vortex of water that periodically surges, cutting deeply into the target.
This form of Aegislash is extremely battle thirsty, and constantly seeks stronger opponents to fight in an effort to gain strength. The constant exposure to blood due to these fights result in the hydro blades of some Aegislash to turn purplish as the blue water energy is stained with the red blood of its enemies. The blades of the more bloodthirsty Aegislash are composed entirely of an eerie crimson.
(Bow Forme)
This form is adept at ranged combat. By fusing its two daggers together, it transforms the blades into a longbow of surging water. The red tassels attached at the grip act as an arm, drawing back a bowstring made of thinly compressed water and firing a volley of piercing hydro arrows.
Because of its combative nature, Aegislash rarely takes the time to properly stop and precisely aim. But due to its massive strength and the speed of its arrows, the opponent usually ends up full of holes regardless.
In the rain, Aegislash turns from dangerous to lethal, as it turns the millions of raindrops around it into a sky of torrential arrows.
Signature Move: Torrential Riptide
Description: The user slashes at the target with its water blades leaving behind a vortex of water that traps the target, inflicting damage for four to five turns. This move has a heightened chance of landing a critical hit.
Type: Water
Category: Physical
PP: 10 (max. 16)
Power: 90
Accuracy: 100%
Effect: Torrential Riptide inflicts damage and then traps the target for 4-5 turns, inflicting damage at the end of each turn equal to ⅛ of the target's max HP. This move has an increased critical hit ratio. If used by a Pokemon with Sharpness, its power is increased by 50%. Torrential Riptide will be replaced with Cascading Rain if the user changes to Bow Forme.
Signature Move: Cascading Rain
Description: The user quickly aims and fires a rain of water arrows at the target, hitting them one to ten times in a row. Each arrow may also lower the target's Special Defense stat.
Type: Water
Category: Special
PP: 10 (max. 16)
Power: 15
Accuracy: 90%
Effect: Cascading Rain inflicts damage, hitting the target 1-10 in a row. Each strike made has a 20% of lowering the target's Special Defense. Each of Cascading Rain's strikes has a separate accuracy check. If any strikes fail, the move ends. In rain, it has an accuracy of 100%. Cascading Rain will be replaced with Torrential Riptide if the user changes to Dagger Forme.
