Everyday Requiem

A youth is nearly passing after a horrendous assault — until a shapeshifting beast offers him salvage at a stunning expense. He is committed to give a human penance consistently to fulfill her covetous hunger. He is trapped in a perilous round of endurance as she penetrates his life, mutilating reality and scrutinizing his ethics. Is it safe to say that he is her associate or her casualty?
