Rosalena sat in her room, deep in thought.
The weight of her newfound power and her mother's legacy still lingered in her mind.
Just then—
A small squirrel came rushing into her room.
"Hey! You can hear me, right?"
Rosalena blinked in surprise before nodding. "Yes, I can. What happened? Why are you in such a hurry?"
The squirrel's tiny eyes were filled with panic.
"My partner is in danger! Please, help me! You're the only one who can understand me!"
Rosalena immediately stood up.
Her maid, startled, called out. "My lady, where are you going?"
Without stopping, Rosalena responded, "The squirrel's partner is in danger! I'll be back soon!"
The maid stood there, utterly confused.
Rosalena followed the frantic squirrel as it led her outside, toward the backyard pond.
As she approached, she saw another squirrel struggling in the water.
Without hesitation—
She ran forward and jumped into the pond.
The cold water rushed over her, but she didn't stop.
She reached for the tiny creature and carefully pulled it out of the water.
"It's okay now… You're safe."
The squirrel shivered slightly but looked up at her with grateful eyes.
Just then—
A strange energy pulsed through the water.
Rosalena's heart pounded.
Something was calling her.
A force—pulling her deeper.
Her eyes widened as she saw a faint glow beneath the surface.
Without thinking—
She dived down.
As she swam deeper, she saw something buried within the pond's depths.
An egg.
It wasn't an ordinary egg—
It radiated power.
Rosalena carefully reached out, wrapping her fingers around it.
The moment she touched it—
A powerful surge of energy rushed through her.
She gasped, quickly resurfacing, clutching the egg tightly.
Dripping wet, she made her way back into the mansion.
The moment her father saw her, his eyes narrowed.
"Rosalena… what happened? And what is that in your hands?"
Before she could answer, the maids rushed forward with towels, wrapping them around her.
She shivered slightly before responding.
"Father… I found this in the pond."
She held up the egg, its surface shimmering under the light.
Her father stepped closer, examining it carefully.
"An egg?"
Rosalena nodded. "Yes… but it's not just any egg. The moment I touched it, I felt a strong energy coming from it."
She looked up at him. "Do you know what's inside?"
Her father shook his head. "No, dear. We won't know until it hatches."
A small smile played on Rosalena's lips as she gently held the egg against her chest.
"Then… I'll take care of it."
Her father watched her, a knowing look in his eyes. "Very well."
Rosalena walked toward her room, her heart strangely warm.
She didn't know what was inside the egg—
But something told her it would change everything.
