Sekiro, after refusing to break the iron code and backstabbing his father, committed the biggest genocide in history and became the shura. To repent, he later tried his best to save the land of the rising Sun. First he killed Kuro only to realize how wrong he was.
So he went and killed himself. This turned Kuro into a mortal and freed him. But the dragon mockingly brought him back to life again. After researching, Sekiro went for the final run, the run in which he would achieve it all. He found out how he needed to perform the ritual and take the dragon and Kuro with him to the West.
He succeeded in his journey; the dragon was returned to its homeland. Kuro also gladly returned home. But Sekiro? As he lost his immortality, he lost his life. Permanently this time. No resurrection, no dragon's rot-aided second chance. No rerun to attain the best possible outcome.
His life was turbulent, his death was peaceful. Sekiro was happy with his death. No longer did he have to carry the burden to save the world. As asked from him by his master. But fate is mischievous. Now, given a second chance in another world. The Land of Fire, with his Immortality restored. How will he fare? Which path will he take? Shura? Severance? Purification? or Dragon's Return?
