Chapter 6 - Chapter 6: The dark bulls (part 2)

Wyatt assumed that he and Craven were the only ones in the woods, so he was reasonably surprised that there eight more people. And perched on the trees of all places.

"Captain....." one of the shadows called out menacingly, "you were supposed to introduce us 10 minutes ago, stupid." Jumping down from the trees, a young man came crashing down from the tree and fell directly on Craven.

Craven and the young man began wrestling on the ground. Occasional insults spewing from the young man's mouth.

Soon, all the new figures came down from the trees. Well, almost all.

"Hey now, let's not act all rowdy in front of our newest member. After all, it would get me mad. And you know what happens when I get mad don't you Captain? randy?" A cute young lady with pink hair told them with smile. Even she said it so nicely, Craven and the young like they had seen a ghost, and stopped immediately.

"Good." The pink haired said sweetly, "now introduce yourselves."

"Name's, Randy. Strongest person in the grou...." Randy could feel the glares of death coming from the pink haired girl. So he quickly corrected his sentence, "… ..strongest guy in the group."

Before Wyatt could respond to Randy, another person was already up in his face.

"I'm Tai, I'm so happy you're here. We haven't had a member in years. So you must be strong, Otherwise the captain would've never let you join, right?" Another girl with brown short hair introduced herself, "Oh, and up there is my twin brother, Lung." She pointed up in the trees where they all came down from.

Out of all the eight shadows, the green haired teenager known as Lung was the only one who didn't come back down.

Lung greeted Grey with a simple 'Yo' and closed his eyes, probably sleeping.

Wyatt was still wondering what if he made a mistake, when another person, a blue haired teenager, walked up to him, took his hand and kissed it.

"Hello, I am Julius Cromwell the third, charmed to make your acquaintance. And yes I am beautiful, but do not let it intimidate you." Julius bowed lightly as he introduced himself to a bewildered Wyatt.

'Creepy...' was what was running through Wyatt's head as Julius left to go talk to the captain.

It was what was still running through his head when a very large man came in front of him.

"I'm, Bob." It barely audible, and more of a whisper. And he walked off and went to meet the pink haired girl from earlier.

"Hey." A grey haired, good looking kid, called out to him.

"Hey…" Wyatt replied hesitantly. He was a bit surprised that someone let him speak.

"I'm Callum. Nice to meet you, Wyatt." Callum introduced himself and shook Wyatt's hand.

'Finally!!! Someone normal…' Wyatt shed internal tears.

"Unfortunately, I'm more of a healer for the group. I'm not really strong." He revealed shyly.

"Oh…" was all Wyatt could say.Their conversation was cut short when a little blonde girl came tugging on Wyatt's trousers.

"And this is Annie. She's more of a member by name." Callum patted Annie on the head.

"Hello, Wyatt." The pink haired girl said from behind Wyatt. Wyatt jumped with a shriek.

When did she get behind him?

"I'm Candy, let's be friends okay?" she took his hand in both of hers, with a smile.

Wyatt just kept looking between where the fat man stood, which was her former location, and where she stood now. How did he not notice when she moved?

"If you want to live, don't get on her bad side." Callum whispered to Wyatt after she left.

"huh? What do you-" before Wyatt could ask what he meant, callum was already walking away while whistling.

'what's his deal?' "what were you guys talking about?" Candy was behind him again.

"NOTHING!!!!!" Wyatt replied quite quickly, and loudly. Candy smiled before looking Callum's direction.

Callum flinched grandly before looking away and whistling even more obviously.

After talking with the group for a bit more, Wyatt strangely felt good. Felt more home than he ever was.

Wyatt has never had a home or a family, and everyone looked at him differently like he was a beast or something.

There were only a handful of people who ever looked at him like he was human, and they were all dead.'I wonder if you cared about me…'

Wyatt thought as he touched his locket. Obviously he was talking about his birth parents.

"Nice trinket you got, where'd you get it?" Craven came and sat near Wyatt.

"it's been with me for as long as I can remember." Wyatt said with a pained smile, "I'm assuming it was from birth parents, since it was with me when I appeared at the orphanage."

"Orphanage? You mean the orphanage you destroyed was..." Craven was surprised, "oooh, you are one crazy kid." He smiled.

"I…..th-that wasn't me." Wyatt looked serious. "that was..i don't even know who that was. But it wasn't me." He knew it was long shot, but he wanted Craven to believe him.

He wanted Craven to know the power that he wanted to collect.

Craven took a long pause, before sighing and patting Wyatt on the shoulder.

"I know."

"Huh?"

"I know." Craven repeated himself, "it was quite obvious actually, with the personality change and all." Craven cackled to himself, beaming like some master detective.

Wyatt was just staring at Craven, watching him laugh out loud. Before they were interrupted by Bob.

"Candy says it's time to leave…" he said in a low tone, then walked away.

Craven stood up, walking away after Bob.

"where are we going?" Wyatt as as he held his head. He was having a slight headache.

"We're going back to base, have to test you to make sure your worthy of being a dark bull." He winked at Wyatt.

"Ok…" Wyatt held his head even harder now, "just give a moment to clear my head."

After Craven left him alone, Wyatt started rubbing his head more and more. His 'slight' headache, had become a serious one.

And he suddenly stopped, before looking up with a devious smile. And his eyes were glowing red.

The glowing eyed Wyatt looked back and the group and licked his lips."He has essence, quite a lot." And as for the person who he was looking at, it was Callum.

The glowing eyes faded quickly and Wyatt just scratched his eyes.

"That was weird."
