In the case of the former, skills appear on the status window the moment you pick up a class. For example, all the people of the world start at level 0. Once their stats reach a certain threshold, they can then level up in an altar.Once somebody reaches level 1 they get to pick up a class. There are three classes one can choose as a level 1, Warrior, Swordsman and Magic Swordsman. Depending on the temperament and natural aptitude of the person, one or all three classes will open up. From there they can choose which class they want to pick.In this world which is called Gaia, the most favoured class is the Magic swordsman as it allows you to join a knight order if you possess sufficient talent. Of course, it's not like other classes can't join. However, compared to the magic swordsman class which opens up numerous successive classes and bestows powerful skills, the other two classes might appear lacklustre.In any case, as mentioned before, one can also acquire skills through training."I see, your skill does seem to be very powerful. It would be great if any of our knights could acquire those skills" Raymond had also observed the giant pillar of light falling from the sky on that day. As a level 9 human who had trained all his life, he knew how powerful and incredible that skill was. If their Temple of Light order could master such a skill it would strengthen them drastically and become a powerful weapon against the demon.Reinhardt smiled helplessly and couldn't help but think inwardly.
