Chapter 6 - Drunken Suspicion

Time had passed. It was almost midnight. Yuan had far too many of those seductive fruits and was dozing off. He was fading into darkness, with only the laughter of his new friends echoing.

The conversation had shifted some time ago and somehow Yuan forgot what he was so scared of in the first place. He really thought he was going on an adventure but he figured that it was a joke and the new friends were enough.

He was hoping deep inside some of his coworkers could see him socializing with such interesting beings. This would certainly give him satisfaction in the workplace and power that he never had.

A sudden thought then crossed his mind. Orbital Patrol? Why did Shui Ren(the mysterious aquatic creature) bring up the orbital patrol? Now that was what really made him think they were taking a trip outside Lush Green. And something about these weird guys.

Suddenly, an ominous mist filled Yuan's mind, as if there was some unspeakable uneasiness hidden there. Something is wrong.

His body gradually became stiff, and when Shui Ren and the Tiger lifted him up, the feeling of discomfort became even stronger. The scene in the market began to blur, like an illusion in a nightmare that you tried to escape but was swallowed up by a distorted reality. Yuan struggled for consciousness for a moment, but finally gave up resistance and allowed them to lead him into the dark streets.

They walked through the deep alleys, their footsteps echoing in the silence. Soon after, they crossed what seemed to be a sleeping dormitory avenue, the shadows under the light were stretched out, and finally stepped into the bright space elevator station.

"Sorry, our friend is drunk right now, we will have tickets for 6 please for Atmosphere Station 21" said Snake in a casual way.

The conductor looked at the group of people suspiciously, his eyes lingering on Yuan for the longest time.

He was now almost in a transient vegetative state and looked suspiciously drugged. He hesitated, but eventually decided to let them board the next trip. However, the ominous premonition lingers - these people look weird no matter how you look at them.

When the elevator started to take off, his instinct almost roared. Without hesitation, he grabbed the communicator and dialed the frequency of the orbital patrol.

"There is a cabin that has just set off. It looks suspicious. Intercept it immediately."

If these people were really the criminals he suspected, he would soon be able to get a nice bonus and additional benefits from the company's payroll system.
