Kent had actually already known about a kind of place like this.
The space he was in had actually made him think of the soulless; a place which people on earth often talked about.
On earth the world was different from-normal.
There was a sudden sound of trumpets heard one day on earth and from then on the world started to change. People started falling sick all over the planet. They started with minor symptoms such as cough, tired- ness,red eyes e.t.c. and started developing incurable diseases.
The world was in a wave of panic as a lot of people's families and loved ones started falling ill and developing different diseases. The government, King's and Queens and All sorts of rulers tried calming the citizens of their country but it was to no avail.
This happened for more than three years straight and the people who were sick never got better or even died.
The government had no way of stopping the diseases as there were different types of diseases in different people therefore adding to their frustration
Then suddenly the people of the planet who were sick and were mostly in comas started changing. They attacked and killed anyone in their path. They looked like humans yet they didn't act like one.They committed gruesome crimes such as stabbing to death,burning a person alive etc.
They were truly devil's on earth.
Even most of their families gave up on them as they either were killed or they lost people close to them by these people hands
The rulers each sent their military and troops but it was all to no avail as the people who were sick were all unable to die.
This battle continued for months until suddenly a group of people appeared and started slaying these sick people.
These group of people which appeared were inhumane. They were doing things which was absolutely impossible for all humans to do.
They battled these people with unparalleled might and were finally able to send these sick people to near extinction
They were the first group of slayers in history and this all happened three hundred years ago.
The sick people where later called selcrids and the group who saved earth created organisations and clans.These clans were currently the back bone of earth protecting earth from people who abnormally became selcrids due to them being unable to pass their slayer tests.
In truth to become a slayer was not hard,you just had to become a servant of any one of those families or clans and you could be granted powers depending on how much you did and contributed to their family.
But once a part of their family or clan you become a slave to them and you are made to obey their every whim without you ever knowing you actually knowing you were being used.
"I knew of this fact but I still chose joining them because I wanted to make my mother and father proud."
"But I was never really able to go on to become a slayer as I was incapable of becoming one Kent said thinking to himself.
"I was probably almost killed because i couldn't become one." Kent deduced 'but as luck will have it right before my death a gate managed to be created saving me from death,'but now looking at the situation I will probably not get out of here alive." kent said shifting his gaze towards the cursed wolf.
