"You have to get out of here, Seri! Run!" the woman yelled, tears dripping down her chin.
Behind her was a burning building, the black smoke visible from miles away.
The little girl, scared, could only shed the same tears her mother did, unable to understand what was going on.
The woman tried to push her, crying her heart out as she pleaded for the girl to run away.
"Momma, why... why are you pushing me away?" the girl asked, the pain in her voice evident.
"I just... I just don't want you to cry, Momma. So why are you pushing me away?"
The woman was deeply hurt by the girl's words. Still, she needed her to run.
"I'm sorry... but your mother doesn't want you by her side anymore. She wants you gone."
Snapping her fingers, two ice humanoid creatures appeared and carried the girl, running away as fast as they could.
