"Ten years," the young man murmured, his voice a hollow echo against the wind whipping through the mountain peaks. He sat perched on the precipice, the raw, biting wind tearing at his robes, yet failing to stir the icy chill that had settled deep within him.

He stared out at the breathtaking panorama – the jagged peaks of Demon-grotto Mountain piercing the cerulean sky, the emerald ribbon of a river snaking through the valleys below, and the vibrant tapestry of forests painted in hues of emerald and ochre. But the beauty held no allure for him. The vibrant hues seemed muted, the rushing river a monotonous drone, the wind a relentless assault on his senses.

His eyes, once bright with youthful ambition, were now dull, the vibrant spark extinguished by the weight of a decade of suffocating monotony. "Living like this… is all there is?" he wondered, his voice a mere whisper against the howling wind.

Cultivation, once a thrilling pursuit, had become a monotonous grind. He poured hours into his exercises, his body aching, his mind numb. Yet, with each passing day, the fire within him dwindled, replaced by a suffocating sense of emptiness.

The memory of that fateful day, ten years ago, still lingered, a phantom pain that refused to fade. The vibrant tapestry of his dreams, once so vivid, had been torn asunder, leaving behind a hollow shell. The thrill of discovery, the yearning for adventure, the burning desire to soar to the heavens – all were extinguished, leaving him adrift in a sea of apathy.

He closed his eyes, the image of that day flashing before him, a searing reminder of the shattered pieces of his past. The laughter, the camaraderie, the youthful exuberance – all gone, replaced by a suffocating silence.

And with that, the last ember of his ambition flickered and died, leaving him shrouded in a chilling darkness.

Suddenly, a voice, smooth as polished jade, cut through his despair. "I think you should give it another try."

The young man startled, his eyes snapping open. Standing before him, leaning against a gnarled ancient pine, was a figure that seemed to defy all logic.

He had encountered countless cultivators in his life, some powerful, some beautiful, but none could compare to this man.

This was no mere cultivator; he was an embodiment of grace and power, an aura of effortless divinity emanating from him. His skin, though pale, shimmered with an inner light, as if reflecting starlight. He wore an imperial robe, the fabric woven with threads of gold and silver, the very air around him seeming to hum with suppressed power.

The young man, despite his years of isolation, felt no fear, only a strange sense of… anticipation. If this man wished to harm him, he would have done so effortlessly.

"And who may you be?" he asked, his voice laced with a hint of curiosity.

The stranger smiled, a breathtaking sight that seemed to illuminate the entire mountainside. "Someone who believes you still have the potential to reach for the stars," he replied, his voice a low rumble that resonated deep within the young man's soul.

A gentle breeze rustled through the leaves of the ancient pine, carrying with it the faint scent of sandalwood and something… indefinable, something that evoked a sense of awe and wonder.

The stranger stretched out his hand, and a delicate azure butterfly, born from the very fabric of reality itself, fluttered into existence between his fingers. "Some call me by the name of Creation," he said, his voice a whisper, "while others prefer to call me a god."

The young man's eyes widened in astonishment. This man… this was no ordinary being.

"Some call me the Supreme Lord, some call me the Universe itself," the stranger continued, his smile widening. "I am also known as Reality, Fantasy, the Dream, and the Nightmare."

He met the young man's gaze, his eyes holding the wisdom of eons. "But I prefer to call myself by the name of Eternity."

The young man was speechless. He had expected the unexpected, but this… this surpassed all his expectations. Yet, instead of fear, a strange sense of calm settled over him. He simply nodded, a slow, thoughtful gesture.

Eternity smiled, his gaze softening. "You are the child born from Wisdom," he said, his voice gentle, like an elder guiding a wayward child. "Your wisdom knows no bounds, a wonder of Creation itself."

He paused, his gaze drifting towards the horizon. "Ten years ago," he continued, his voice unhurried, "your wisdom… it destroyed tens of kingdoms, reduced them to mere remnants, ruins for the ages to sift through."

The young man felt a chill crawl down his spine. He remembered the incident vividly, the overwhelming sense of power, the crushing weight of responsibility, and the chilling realization of the destructive potential of his own mind.

Eternity shook his head, a look of regret in his eyes. "Wudi Egun," he said, "your talent is being wasted here. You are a child with countless possibilities, destined for greatness. With your wisdom, you can achieve far more than any talented Paragon of this era."

Eternity's words resonated deep within the young man's soul. He wasn't joking. He wasn't merely trying to be encouraging.

"Ten years ago," Eternity continued, "you destroyed powerhouses far superior to you in terms of power and strength, using nothing but the sheer force of your intellect. It is no wonder you began to question if your wisdom was too potent for this world."

He paused, his gaze piercing. "But you have barely scratched the surface of your potential. You have yet to meet your equal, to truly test the limits of your wisdom. And so, apathy has taken root in your heart."

Eternity extended a hand towards him, his eyes filled with encouragement. "Go out, my little friend. Seek out challenges. This world is vast, teeming with powerful individuals, with hidden realms, with mysteries waiting to be unraveled. Go and conquer them."

Wudi Egun let out a deep sigh, his brow furrowed in contemplation. "But I don't know what to do," he confessed, his voice laced with doubt. "Ten years ago, I wasn't even a First Dimensional Realm master, yet I managed to outmaneuver Fifth Dimensional Realm powerhouses. And…" He trailed off, unable to articulate the unsettling feeling that lingered within him.

Eternity patiently waited, a serene smile gracing his lips.

"And…" Wudi Egun finally continued, his voice low, "I felt… effortless. They were weak, insignificant, like fragile insects that could be crushed with a mere breeze."

Eternity nodded slowly, his gaze unwavering. "You felt effortless," he echoed, "because they were weak, insignificant. "

"Yes," Wudi Egun admitted, his teeth clenched. "What is the use of possessing tremendous power, unfathomable strength, nigh-omnipotence, if you can lose against a superior force of wisdom?" He felt a surge of frustration, a bitter taste in his mouth.

Eternity remained silent, a thoughtful expression gracing his features. He did not offer a direct answer, instead, he began to shimmer, his form dissolving into a river of swirling colors, the fabric of spacetime itself rippling around him.

As he began to fade from existence, his voice, though faint, carried a profound message. "Why don't you find the answer yourself, Wudi Egun?"

The young man was left staring at the empty space where Eternity had stood, his mind reeling. Why don't I find it myself? The question echoed in his mind, a strange sense of clarity beginning to emerge.

He sat there for a long time, lost in thought, the wind whispering secrets through the ancient pines. Finally, a slow smile spread across his face. "Yeah," he murmured, "why don't I?"

A newfound determination ignited within him, a spark of defiance against the suffocating apathy that had consumed him for so long. He would find his own answers, forge his own path, and discover the true limits of his wisdom.

He rose to his feet, a newfound sense of purpose filling his veins. The world, once a monotonous canvas, now shimmered with possibilities, a vast and unexplored expanse waiting to be conquered.
