I'm putting up this notice for all new readers who come across this novel in the future to help explain the premise of Journey of True Cultivation.
First of all, this is not a brainless cultivation novel where the MC only chases power, skips through countless realms, or mindlessly face slaps every opponent. My goal is to create a vast world with deep world building, a logical cultivation system, and a story where the main character gradually evolves as he faces the harsh realities of the world over countless years of life.
For those looking for a fast paced cultivation novel, instant power ups, an emotionless MC, or an endless cycle of revenge face slapping, this might not be your cup of tea.
However, do not worry about the nature of the MC,he is not a righteous saint, nor will he suddenly become one. He is evil or rather, not a good person. If you're concerned that he might start sparing enemies or avoiding bloodshed, rest assured,he will kill without hesitation.
Why I'm Writing This Notice
First, I want to let readers know that this is a long term novel. If you struggle with waiting for updates, it might be better to collect and stack chapters before binge reading.
The second reason is for those who judge a novel solely by the first few chapters. The first 30 chapters are just the groundwork,introducing side characters and setting up the story.
The real story begins at chapter 30. And yes, there might be some storytelling issues early on, but I encourage you to push through as I am constantly working to improve. However, if you feel you can't endure that, then it's better not to read the novel at all.
About My Writing & Storytelling
I am not a native English speaker. I learned English in school, but even that wasn't much, so most of my vocabulary comes from reading novels. Since my grammar isn't perfect, I use ChatGPT as a correction tool to correct my writing.
I hope to improve naturally over time, but as you can probably tell, I still have a long way to go. That said, I am committed to writing this story as best as I can, so I ask for your patience as I continue improving and gradually refine older chapters over time!
And for those concerned about AI generated content, rest assured that all the plot and characters are created by me. I don't use AI to generate the story itself. The only exception is when I struggle to describe something, like clothing designs (I'm not that creative when it comes to that).
Publishing Schedule & Updates
I will try to post at least one chapter daily, maybe even two. However, I can't promise more than that. Each chapter will be at least 1.5k words, so you can expect consistent daily updates.
As for publishing times,since I live in Europe, but many of my readers are from America, there will naturally be a time difference. I will aim to publish at 2 PM (European time).
