Chapter 18 - Chapter 16 - A Close Call In An Empty Hall

I don't own anything related to the Harry Potter franchise

Author's note:

For reasons that may or may not be obvious, this chapter features an exceedingly romantic sex scene that I have edited out. If you're interested in skipping over to read the unedited version, look for the linebreak that features the story name HARRY POTTER: UNLEASHED: UNCENSORED, head over to the story by that name, and then select the indicated chapter.

Even the edited scene that I've created for this story contains sexually suggestive matters as I have no choice but to describe the fact that Harry and Fleur are being… intimate with each other. I can't remove anything that still remains, because it features relevant plot progression.

I was careful to keep what remains in this edited version PG, by which I mean I haven't described anything carnal in nature.

When Fleur and Cedric were finally released from the meeting being held by Dumbledore, Madam Maxine, Karkaroff, Bagman and Crouch, they stayed together until they were well away from Krum. On the one hand, the solidarity that they were feeling as fellow Champions was just as nice as Harry had said it'd be, on the other hand, there really wasn't much to say, so conversation was at a premium. Both Cedric and Fleur knew that Harry was innocent… and they both knew that he was completely livid right now. One thing that Fleur did explain to Cedric was that she was going to head to the Room of Requirements, where she was going to wait for Harry to join her, because she wanted to prevent a double booking… Cedric nodded and then asked her to tell Harry that he'd have his back.

Fleur went back to her carriage only briefly and only to tell Selene not to wait up. Then she was stalled for a brief period of time, as Selene recounted everything that happened in the Great Hall.

"Conflict of interest," snorted Selene. "That's the cutest counter argument I have ever heard. I grabbed a pen and started writing again."

Fleur felt bad about being happy about anything at all at the moment. She was supposed to be both scared and furious right now, not ready to squee at the intensely romantic cuteness of her boyfriend's recent actions. "Don't get me wrong Selene, I am worried, but I think I'm having trouble becoming as concerned as I should be. Right now this feels like it'll be just another flame funnel spear in 'Arry's path." Fleur admitted directly into a pillow, as she rolled around on Selene's bed.

With a nod, Selene affectionately patted her friend atop her head. "It is rather easy to forget that he's far less experienced than us… He is a little larger than life."

"This tournament sounds like it is spiraling out of control now though," Fleur bit out, as she suddenly felt some of the anxiety that she'd been missing just a few moments earlier. "This all feels as if it's an elaborate trap set up just for 'Arry… Every single year something attacks him…"

"Well go on," Selene began, with a melodramatic sigh... "Go cuddle or whatever you kids call it these days."

Fleur gave Selene the stink eye on principle alone, but she also ran out of the carriage immediately after donning her sexiest pair of lingerie.

By the time Harry entered the Gryffindor common room, he was certain of two things. The first was that his team was behind him all the way… and the second was that Ronald Weasley was about to make a lot of noise.

As it turns out, he was only half right.

When Harry walked through the portrait hole, he was greeted by an extremely surprising sight. There was a very loud, very alcohol fueled party happening in his common room, and there was a very, very interesting party decoration...

"HARRY POTTER," The twins screamed, over and above the loud music. "The reluctant Champion enters!"

Gred started with a "Do

you

like

our

decorations," both Gred and Forge yelled, in perfectly synchronized voices!

At some point in the not-so-distant past, Ronald Bilious Weasley had been Petrificus Totalized so that he could be magically affixed to the ceiling, and his body was covered in such a thick layer of sparkles he looked like a human disco ball. As Harry was beginning to expect from the youngest male Weasley, Ron's eyes were currently rolling around in his head like a madman.

Harry couldn't help it... He waved at the bitchy redhead with just a hint of a grin on his face before turning back towards the twins. "Am I to assume you guys believe me then," he loudly asked over the din of the music.

"Magically binding oath," about two dozen people yelled in his general direction at exactly the same time.

After nodding their approval towards their small army of supporters, Gred handed Harry a butterbeer and Forge patted him on the shoulder. "You're not a squib, dead or a liar Harry, so we convinced everyone rather easily on pain of pranks."

Angelina walked up next to rest her hand on Harry's unoccupied shoulder. "A lot of people didn't need any convincing, Harry... It was obvious that you were both surprised and pissed when your name came out of that cup."

After dancing up with her hands in the air, Katie slipped a party hat onto Harry's head. "We just can't help but think you'll win anyway, Harry!"

After approaching from the stairs, Neville also put his hand on Harry's shoulder and then leaned in close to be heard over the rhythm of the music. "Hermione's already reading the rulebook cover to cover trying to find any precedent for you withdrawing from the tournament, but in the meantime we've all got your back. Don't get me wrong, there actually are several people who are badmouthing you, but they're all just the usual suspects." At the tail end of his words, Neville looked up at the ceiling and then grinned in enjoyment. "Ron the human disco ball for one couldn't wait to badmouth you... That is... until Hermione petrified him and affixed him to the ceiling. The twins took over from there."

Harry couldn't help it. After hearing such an amazing turn of events, he smiled a huge smile for the first time since the Goblet spit out his name. "Where is she? I desperately need to hug her!"

"Couch over there." Neville pointed across the room, with a satisfied smile upon his face.

After locating Hermione, sitting on a couch and reading an exceedingly ancient book, Harry promptly swept her up into a large and all encompassing hug, complete with aura. "Thanks for looking out for me sis," he called out, with enormous amounts of enthusiasm.

"Okay, okay I get it," Hermione exclaimed, while laughing into Harry's shoulder. "I finally just lost it. I suppose you know I used to kind of like the berk..."

Harry just nodded with a truly horrified expression upon his face.

Hermione giggled as she took in Harry's comically embellished fear and revulsion. "Well, It was a phase and it is over now... I will now commence finding a man who's actually worth my notice."

Harry beamed at his sister even as he rolled up his sleeves. "And I shall commence scaring the living..."

"Stop right there little bro! I can and will break your kneecaps," Hermione shouted in mock outrage.

After mock cowering for just a second or two, Harry dove forward again and hugged Hermione for a second time. Harry really gave it to her this time as he whispered into her ear. "I'm proud of you Mione, you really have it all figured out. Don't read that book cover to cover tonight... Have a Butterbeer for Gods' sakes."

Hermione nodded in agreement and slapped at his shoulder. "Get out of here Harry. We all know you have someone you meant to see tonight."

Nodding in agreement that his private life wasn't private in the slightest, Harry drew in a deep and preparatory breath. "Wish me luck Mione... This will be a very... interesting conversation."

"If that's what you young people are calling it these days," Hermione immediately retorted, with a grin.

Harry performed an excellent scandalized expression before laughing. "I'll see you in the morning, Mione."

After that, Harry waved and bowed his way back across the common room and then disappeared out of the portrait.

Hogwarts was a magical marvel of transient hallways and trapdoors and such, but at the moment they were nothing but an inconvenience to Fleur, as she found herself somewhere on the fourth floor and the sixth floor at exactly the same time. A situation that she had very little patience with, as at this point, she was losing it in her desire to get to Harry...

""I have been looking forvard to meeting up like dis, my fair Fleur."

The guttural growl issued forth as she crested a set of stairs to an empty corridor, causing her eyes to widen in alarm and the hairs on the back of her neck to stand on end… After whipping to the side in alarm, Fleur found that her very worst fears were being realized.

There he was, in all his creepiness. Victor Krum had been laying in wait for her, leaning against the wall between two thick stone columns…

Fleur had no idea how the cretin had tracked her down, and right now that line of inquiry was the very least of her concerns. What did matter was the fact that Krum had managed to corner her at the top of a bank of stairs, which meant that retreating was an especially dangerous idea. Fleur couldn't turn around to look where she was going, because she'd immediately take a stunning spell or worse to the back.

"Don't vorry about retreating my beauty," Krum drawled out, with a perverse leer upon his face. "In fact... Come here immediately."

All of the sudden, a thick shell of Harry's magic was surrounding Fleur on every side, and she knew exactly what that had to mean. Krum was currently attacking her with that sick disgusting magic of his. Snarling in outrage, Fleur rapidly unsheathed her wand and then pointed it squarely in Krum's direction. "Krum, you useless, insignificant, disgusting sack of excrement. I will never just obey you! You will never get to have me!"

In response to Fleur's defiant actions and disrespectful attitude, an openly feral and twisted smile quickly warped Krum's square lined and stern looking face into an openly evil caricature of its former self. "Yes… I can see dat. I am pleased vith you. You will give me the struggle I haf been vaiting for..." Somehow, Krum's body seemed to grow in both size and muscle mass without ever changing shape at all as he reached into his pocket and withdrew his wand.

With no hesitation whatsoever, Fleur instantly cast a blasting curse directly between Krum's eyes. Then, as soon as the spell was released, she started dashing to the right, calling out the Conjure spell Avis as she moved. Within just three seconds of the duel's beginning, half a dozen birds were flying out of her wand, and were moving in Krum's direction with the intention of pecking out his eyes.

And Krum appeared to flicker to the right, easily dodging the blasting curse before bisecting the birds with a barrage of cutting curses and sending five Incarcerous spells back in Fleur's direction.

After dancing diagonally backwards and to the left, Fleur cast an Incendio spell to intercept a Conjured net that was flying towards her right leg. As Krum's binding spell was incinerated in the air, Fleur burst through the other side, unburned and already casting several bone breaking curses as fast as she possibly could.

But then it happened again...

For the second time in less than ten seconds, Krum's body seemed to lose cohesion as he rapidly blurred his way down the length of the hallway, slipping through all of Fleur's bone breakers as if he was little more than a ghost. All of the sudden, the man was just ten steps away from Fleur and it really did look as if he'd teleported in some kind of flickering black mist. Then the man's body was suddenly solid again, and he was releasing a trio of stunning spells at Fleur from extremely close range.

Gasping in both surprise and knee-jerk fright, Fleur jumped diagonally backwards again while erecting a Protego shield to block the lone stunner that she hadn't managed to dodge. Then, as she regained her footing and continued to strafe to the right, she tried to shake off a rapidly growing sense of impending doom that she felt growing within the pit of her stomach…

Victor Krum was smiling happily even as he continued to stalk in her direction. The man was noticeably, visibly, having an excellent time toying with her.

Fleur Delacour was an exceptionally well-trained and talented duelist and miles above her peers, which was just barely allowing her to keep up with Krum's bizarre and unnatural movements...

No! Head in the game, Fleur! Just keep thinking! Just keep moving! You're faster than this! You're better than this!

Gritting her teeth, Fleur rapidly animated three suits of armor that were standing just a few feet away on Krum's left-hand side, and they immediately began to rush the man with their arms reaching towards his neck.

Krum barely even glanced at the approaching suits of armor before rapidly swiveling in place and physically punching the lead one so hard it slammed into the two that were following it, and all three of them ended up shredded against the wall.

Even after Krum dodged all seven of the bludgeoning curses that Fleur cast at his back during his single moment of distraction by blurring into nothing more than a line of smoke, she kept up a rapid barrage of curses. She was never going to stop fighting, she was never going to give up!...

The worst part of Fleur's current situation wasn't the way that Krum was clearly taking it easy on her. It was the fact that Fleur had been fighting for well over a minute already, and at some point Harry's charm would start running out of power…

Fleur needed to get out of here, and she needed to do it now!

Harry wasn't making as good a time as he wanted as he made his way through the school towards the seventh floor tower. In a nice little bit of hypocrisy, Beauxbatons and Durmstrang's students weren't told off for wandering Hogwarts's halls at night, because the Hogwarts teaching staff have no authority over them whatsoever. Of course Harry didn't have the same luxury, so he was currently Disillusioned, scent washed, and using a circuitous route towards his destination to avoid Filch's cat. Case and point, after emerging from the base of a stone statue of a griffin, Harry turned a candelabra into its upright position in order to return the massive stone structure back into its original alcove in the wall.

And that's when he felt it.

Harry suddenly felt something vibrating against his sternum, immediately causing him to become visible again to look down at the receiver charm that he'd created. It was vibrating and warming, while a small light emanating from its base was pointing up and to the North.

Fuck fuck shiit!

With a growl of desperate effort, Harry began sprinting in the direction that his amulet was indicating and the teaching staff could be damned. As he moved, he extended out his magic hundreds of feet in front of his body, but he still didn't feel/see Fleur within the range of his magical senses. In response, Harry sped up even more by recruiting Aethir for guidance and pushing with everything that he had.

Even as he ran, Harry started ripping off large chunks of his magic and directed it to follow him, in a cloud of ambient power. Needless to say, it was a very disconcerting feeling. It could be compared to dislocating your own shoulder on purpose, but without the expected pain. Instead, his magic felt numb even as he knew that it was still present and capable of being used.

Then Harry suddenly felt/saw Fleur's tightly contained red aura moving around very, VERY quickly and damn... Harry's head hurt. That damned miasma was completely encircling his girlfriend and poking for weaknesses in the amulet's shield.

His charm was rapidly running out of juice.

Harry started moving so fast, his body was nothing but a blur...

After Transfiguring the carpet that Krum was standing on into a solid metal box, Fleur tried to make a break for it.

It didn't work…

Somehow, defying all logic, Krum immediately ripped the metal box apart using nothing but his bare hands.

What the hell is with that absurd physical strength?!

Never mind that. Fleur still had a fallback plan. She made use of the fact that Krum was still hemmed in within the opening he'd created in the box to channel an absurdly powerful Incendio maxima (flame-thrower) spell directly towards his face. To Fleur's relief, this attack finally forced Krum to erect himself a Protego shield, even as he dove to the side and rolled back to his feet.

With an openly feral smile upon her face, Fleur immediately started completely hosing down the entire hallway with an endless string of fire spells! If the revolting little mongrel didn't like fire, then fire it would be…

Unfortunately for Fleur, that was the exact moment when Harry's amulet completely ran out of juice, and her body started betraying her. Over the course of about fifteen seconds and despite the fact that Fleur was straining with absolutely everything that she had, her body began to slow down… and then, it just... stopped.

Fleur was in a panic! Her body wasn't her own to control! She was nothing but a prisoner in her own flesh and was beginning to completely freak the hell out! At this point, she was just barely managing to keep herself from releasing her allure, because doing so would only funnel Krum's miasma directly into her body!

While continuing to struggle as hard as she could against this Imperio like cloud of magic, Fleur wracked her brain for options and plans. She was no damned submissive! She was Fleur Delacour!

Fleur's body started trembling and her arm slowly started rising to point her wand.

At which point Krum casually plucked Fleur's wand from her hand with a truly impressed look upon his face. "Yes… yess! keep struggling my pet! I enjoy dis! You make vat I do more revarding."

Fleur shivered and shook with effort and her eyes were as cold as ice.

Krum dropped Fleur's wand to the ground in a dismissive fashion, as he stepped within just a foot of her.

After exerting every scrap of willpower that she possessed, Fleur managed to struggle back in single, halting steps, one after another. It wasn't enough. Krum stepped forward right along with her so that he remained only a foot away. Soon enough, she was pressed up against a wall and didn't have anywhere else to go.

Krum smiled as he followed the retreating Veela to wards the wall, watching her struggle while delivering small macabre lines of encouragement. "That's right. Don't giff up my pet... Fight it. I want to take from you, not just receive." Krum continued his approach until he was just a few inches away from Fleur, and hemming her body against the wall with his own. From there, he started rubbing a hand against her cheek, appreciating the perfection of her hair, nose, eyes and chin.

Over time, Krum's hand slowly started sliding down her neck towards her shoulder and the neckline of her uniform...

Even in her half mad panic, Fleur managed to notice the moment that her wand spontaneously flew down the hallway to her left. While she didn't have the freedom of movement to look in its direction, Fleur immediately knew what was happening because she could smell it in the air... Desperately smothering any emotion from showing on her face, she screwed up her concentration and continued to resist. Slowly and shakily, Fleur's dominant arm began extending upward. She poured all of her focus into slapping the monster standing in front of her, and yet her violently trembling arm rose only inches at a time. Truly, it was of no consequence. The token effort was only to distract Krum away from what was about to happen.

While laughing at Fleur's token effort, Krum shook his head and rolled his eyes. "I think you've underestimated me, don't you, Potter? By now, my aura should be devouring whatefer paltry power you've released from your control. You energize me you fool." Krum laughed like a hyena and never even bothered turning away from Fleur.

Harry, Fleur's lover, her future mate, was down the hallway now. She could see him in her peripheral vision. He was sweaty and panting and he looked far angrier than she'd ever seen from him in the time that she'd known him, but he was there, and his wand was out, and his eyes contained a level of focus that Fleur took enormous amounts of comfort from...

"Yes... Any magic that I don't directly control, you seem to devour." Harry bit out as he magically banished away the sweat dripping down his forehead. "All that means is that this is going to hurt," he ground out, from between tightly clenched teeth. "Accio Fleur!"

Fleur gasped as she was suddenly flying through the air and landing in Harry's arms in a damsel carry.

As fast as he could, Harry carefully placed Fleur back down on her feet, and then straightened to regard the source of his anger..

He wasn't fast enough.

Even as he drew his wand up in Krum's direction, Harry was slammed into by the Bulgarian teen, who apparently wanted to settle this fight in an overtly physical fashion.

Fine. Bring it on.

During the time that he'd spent sprinting towards this hallway and Fleur, Harry had sensed Krum using immense physical strength within his magical senses. What that meant was that Harry currently had most of his magic contained within his body in order to optimize his physicality, and he also had Aethir lending him both speed and agility. Long story short, as Krum slammed into his body like an American Football player, Harry dropped low under the man, and then as they both rolled with the impact, he double kicked the cretin right over his head in the direction of the staircase.

After flying over four meters through the air, Krum slammed hard into a wall before continuing a messy tumble further down the length of the hallway.

Bouncing back up to his feet, Harry quickly shoved Fleur's wand into her arm holster and then erected an overlarge Protego shield in front of his body. Despite the intense speed of his most recent actions, his newly erected shield was only just in time to stop several high power cutting curses from hitting all of his vital organs. Krum was clearly trying to kill him, which was fine with Harry since he had every intention of doing the same. As his meter-wide shield continued to block a wide variety of increasingly lethal curses, Harry whispered to Fleur in a furious growl. "Stay back if you can move at all. I'm going to end this..."

As Krum channeled magic into his mind and increased his perception speed, he saw Harry begin channeling enough magic to vaporize the entire hallway, and he realized for the very first time that he was fighting against an equal. Krum had already been surprised tonight by the scope of Potter's magical power, but the fact that the boy also had physical strength and speed that could rival his own was making him completely furious!

Looking beyond the visibly murderous English boy and the hailstorm of curses he was forming within his magic, Krum saw that Fleur was still paralyzed into stillness by his magical shroud...

Good...

Krum could work with this... A smile began forming on his face.

"Stop breathing" Krum loudly demanded in English, aiming for both Fleur and Harry to recognize his intentions.

At Krum's barked out order, Fleur's hands immediately began rising up towards her own throat and she immediately squeaked out in rising amounts of fear. Over the following few seconds, despite the fact that she was resisting with everything that she had, her own hands began choking her airway, and her diaphragm stopped contracting to pull oxygen into her lungs!

Just milliseconds before Harry unleashed a torrent of different curses in Krum's general direction, the Bulgarian man suddenly barked out a command that immediately had Harry leaping back to his girlfriend's side. By the time he slid to a stop at Fleur's right, her hands were already wrapped around her neck and were squeezing tighter by the second, but even more alarming than that was the fact her body straight up wasn't allowing her to breathe! A status effect that Harry couldn't be sure would end if he were to stun the woman unconscious.

There was a course of action that would work however, and Harry knew that forcing him to go through with it was Krum's intention all along.

Quick as a thought, Harry released all of the magic that he could spare from within his body, swamping the air all around Fleur's desperately struggling form within an incredibly thick cloud of his aura.

The Immediate result of releasing his magic was twofold. Harry instantly lost most of his preternatural strength, and he was forced to shake stars out of his eyes as he was subjected to a river of excruciating pain. By this point, Krum's miasma was everywhere, and it instantly began to tear into his magic from every single direction.

And just like that, Harry had been put at a massive disadvantage... and yet he had no damned choice in the matter. Even with Fleur standing just three steps to his right, this was still a hostage situation, which meant that he couldn't move like he wanted to. Harry had no recourse but to keep pushing out more and more magic around Fleur, thinning out Krum's influence on her body. A distraction that almost got Harry killed, when his rapidly deteriorating and eroding aura shroud just barely managed to sense that Krum was casting curses at him again, and he somehow managed to raise another, much smaller shield.

For an incalculable and terrifying amount of time, Fleur was forced to watch helplessly as Harry defended the both of them from dozens and dozens of extremely dark curses. Harry was stuck firmly on the defensive at the moment, as Krum's miasma was hurting him badly, Krum was attacking HER simply to root Harry in place, and the man could dodge curses in the form of an inky black mist.

The situation was bad and getting worse by the second!

Copious amounts of blood was beginning to spill from within Harry's nose, down his mouth and off of his chin to stain the clothing over his chest, but he kept fighting and he kept moving. Fleur fought to move over and over again, only to find that it was much harder to regain control of herself this time than it had been just a few weeks earlier. Finally, with a huge groan of effort, Fleur was able to tear her hands away from her throat, draw in a lungful of air, and then move as she wanted to. She immediately drew her wand from its holster and advanced to Harry's side.

"Fighting together," gasped Harry, while still deflecting a series of maiming curses cast at the both of them.

With a nod and a snarl of pure rage, Fleur rounded on Victor, with her wand already a blur of motion. She needed this over now! Harry was taking massive amounts of damage with every single second that passed! As if to prove that her concerns were justified, Harry suddenly collapsed to a knee with a grunt of soul-deep agony. In a panic reaction to Harry's injury, Fleur desperately cast a humongous ribbon of fire in Krum's general direction, spraying everything around him indiscriminately. Then she cursed angrily, when, in response to the waves of fire flying at him, Krum turned into that same black mist again and flew through the gaps of fire. When the man finally rematerialized a little further down the hall, he looked winded but otherwise completely untouched by the flames he'd just flown through!

This was taking too damned long and Krum was too damned hard to catch! Somehow, he was able to basically Apparate while inside of Hogwarts' wards, and he was using every square inch of clearance that this hallway had to offer! Fleur was truly freaking out now and she didn't know what to do!

With a gasp of inspiration, Harry suddenly swiveled his head in Fleur's direction and asked "re..remember th..the dueling t..try..out?"

Eureka. Harry was a genius. Without another word needed in explanation, Fleur gathered all of her remaining magic and sent another, far larger, Incendio Maxima boiling down the hallway.

"Notosbrutus," Harry called out exactly half a second later, in a pained sounding gasp, forcing as much magic as he could currently control into the spell. Twenty swirling, pure oxygen, wind funnel spears were conjured out of nowhere and sent flying down the hallway in Krum's direction.

At first Krum appeared to find the situation amusing. He clearly thought that Fleur's fire would be easy to dodge and that Harry's wind funnels were of no real concern. That is, until the wind spears finally caught up to, and then merged with, Fleur's Incendio Maxima spell. Instantly, in a billowing explosion of white-hot force, a massive wall of swirling flames were screaming in his direction, completely filling the stone lined hallway from top to bottom. With a snarl of surprise and outrage, Krum turned back into a black smoke again, and was forced to descend the stairs to the landing below.

"Less go," Harry immediately spluttered, through lips that were a blood pulped mess. "Run! Let's go!"

Fleur and Harry ran down several winding hallways and up several levels of convoluted stairs, towards the Room of Requirements. Harry fell over several times and Fleur ended up half carrying him, but they moved as fast as they could. When they finally arrived at the seventh floor corridor, Harry collapsed to his knees again and Fleur was forced to leave him there. Over the next twelve seconds, she completed some very rapid suicide sprints up and down the hallway, until a door finally appeared in the wall. Fleur half helped up, half dragged Harry up to his feet, and then sealed the door behind them even as they were falling through its threshold.

They were safe from Krum at last...

"Your s..afe Fleur. I...wa..was so sca..ared for…yu, you." Harry's speech patterns faltered even as he smiled up at Fleur in obvious relief. Soon after, he held his trembling hands to his head in agonizing pain, curled up into a very tight ball and abruptly passed out...

"'Arry? 'Arry!" Fleur landed on her knees next to her... next to her… her everything! She frantically began rubbing Harry, seeking a reaction of any kind. It wasn't working! Fleur took several deep breaths to keep from hyperventilating and losing what common sense she still had at her disposal. Harry was breathing, so he was most likely going to be okay... Harry had a so far unexplored and miraculous healing factor, and his magic was currently contained inside of his body, which would speed up the process by several magnitudes. Fleur would eventually try an Enervate spell to wake him up, but she would wait an hour first so that his body/mind could heal.

Fleur's legs chose that moment to lose their strength and she crumpled to the floor against the wall. Despite that loss of strength, she was somehow able to pull Harry's body up into her lap, with his torso propped up against her waist.

With nothing better to do, Fleur was reduced to clutching at Harry's ribs as she heaved for air and cried heavily into the skin of his neck. She took what comfort she could in Harry's body heat as her arms wrapped tighter and tighter around his chest... Every scrap of Fleur's focus was on the steady beating of his heart...

Harry awoke ten minutes later, still leaning heavily against Fleur's chest and stomach. He chose not to open his eyelids yet, because he was certain that the light would hurt his already throbbing head. He was trembling from head to toe because the damage Krum's miasma does to his magic seems to damage both his brain and his Occlumency control. Under normal circumstances, brain damage is a death sentence, but since Harry had fixed his brain from a nearly vegetative state as a baby, he had every reason to believe he could do so again...

While scanning his body for further damages, Harry shored up his Occlusion defenses in a very quick and dirty fashion that would have to do for now. As he worked, Harry could feel in how slowly he was thinking that he was pretty damned impaired at the moment. With more enthusiasm than finesse, he circulated his magic inside of his brain and waited for the sweet relief of his healing factor. After a few moments passed, he could sense that the repairs were being made even through the fog of his damaged mind, causing him to release a nearly silent sigh of relief. Finally, Harry opened his eyes just in time to be engulfed in silver blonde hair and a newly sobbing Veela.

"'Arry! Are you okay? I'm so sorry, I tried, the amulet ran out, he was too..."

After slowly pulling the crying woman against his body, Harry ran his hands along her neck and back in as soothing a way as his trembling, spastic, dysfunctional arms were capable of pulling off "Shu..sh... Fleur... no..ne of... tha..t." Oh wow his speech patterns were waaay off right now... Harry was trying to rush heal himself and regain his mental equilibrium at exactly the same time. He was finding both of those things and... well... everything else for that matter, difficult to do at the moment. "Krum is... a mon..ster... of some ki..nd... and even... wor..king together... we were... loo..king... at de..feat... if we... stayed."

As if someone suddenly turned on the lights, Harry felt the moment that his magic fixed something really important inside of his brain and thoughts became easier to accomplish inside of his mind. Shaking off the fog that he'd been laboring under, Harry regarded Fleur with sharper, more cognizant eyes. In that moment, he also promised himself that Fleur would never find out that Krum had caused him debilitating amounts of brain damage for about twenty whole minutes...

Wiping away Fleur's tears, Harry gently kissed her on the forehead. "Fleur... You didn't fail me or let me down... Krum is the most dangerous thing I've ever seen and that's including the Basilisk from second year. Krum is anathema to me, his mere presence hurts me, but even worse, he knows how to exploit my feelings. Still… Since I'm healing even as we speak, I'm perfectly suited to tanking some damage… I'm durable, love. You are never to be hurt by the likes of him."

At Harry's words Fleur sat back on her heels to give him a much closer look. It was a comforting image and Fleur drew in a very deep breath in her profound relief. Harry's color was already returning and the bleeding had long since stopped.

"I also achieved something else tonight," Harry said, as he began pushing his body up to lean against the wall.

"What is it?" Fleur quietly slid down the wall next to Harry and leaned aside against his body.

"My charm collected a large sample of Krum's miasma. I'm going to ruthlessly dissect it and figure out what it hates. I'm going to bring down the scientific method on his ass!" Harry laughed hard at the ceiling, with his eyes closed and a grim look of determination on his face. It looked a little macabre through all of the dried blood on his face, neck and mouth, but it was also inspiring at exactly the same time.

After a moment where she didn't know how to react, Fleur beamed at her lover and kissed him on the cheek. He just never, ever quit. There he was, laughing about his small defiance, as if it was a pensieve caliber memory...

As Harry started shakily rising up to his feet, he suddenly had a thought and called out "Dobby."

Pop

"Sir!" Dobby looked extremely alarmed. "What happened?"

"Victor Krum's magic hurts me," Harry offered simply. "I have two questions."

"Shoot sir," Dobby said, still looking enormously upset.

"Do house elves have any special ability to judge/evaluate magic? I just wanted to ask since you use other people's magic to function, meaning you must interact with it somehow." Harry wiped at his nose, only to find that his blood was already dry and hard to remove.

"We house elves can judge a magic's nature as a defense mechanism, but we never think to attack it," Dobby began in a slightly hesitant tone of voice. "If you want me to find a weakness, it will be by reverse engineering it from my normal magical processes. It would feel like trying to figure out an instinct backwards. Give me some, but not all, of the magic, and I will try. I don't want you to lay all of your eggs in my basket."

Nodding his head in understanding, Harry smiled reassuringly. "Good man. Now I also wanted to know if you have any of those smoothies laying around? I've become physically damaged, so I need nutrients to heal, and the lady might enjoy the taste."

Pop

Dobby handed both Harry and Fleur smoothies with a rather shaky smile. It was times like this that he realized he wasn't omnipotent. He'd been working at the smoothie factory when the attack happened and hadn't known… The excuse didn't help at all and he felt awful.

"Don't make that face Dobby. You can't be everywhere at all times and you know it. I expect you to forgive yourself for being busy with one of the ten thousand jobs that you do in a day and move on." Harry gave Dobby the stink eye for a second, downed the magical nutrition drink in one large gulp and then smacked his lips in satisfaction.

Dobby could only nod his understanding, despite the fact that he still felt terrible.

"Now I have one last task for you, Dobby," Harry breathed out as he stretched out his legs. "Go tell Dumbledore that I will be visiting his office after breakfast tomorrow regarding Krum attacking Fleur and I in the sixth floor West corridors, and that he WILL be available to speak to me..."

Once again, Dobby nodded his understanding before popping out of the room with an all business expression upon his face.

Failing to immediately find his feet, Harry leaned heavily against the wall. Despite the fact that he was recovering quickly, he wasn't quite back to full steam yet. With that in mind, he looked down at Fleur sitting against the wall and extended a hand. Fleur, love, I really, REALLY need a good cuddling right about now.

Fleur was almost but not quite a hundred percent certain that Harry was asking her to cuddle to save her pride, but she was far too in need of a hug at the moment to point that out. What a manipulator, she thought to herself. Fleur smiled at that thought. Harry always infuriated her, so this was nothing new. Pushing herself up to her feet, she slid in under his armpit to keep him steady..

"Bath first," Fleur pointed out seriously. "You look like a prop from a horror movie."

Harry had completely forgotten about that inconvenient little reality, but after Fleur pointed it out again, the dried blood felt gross. They were standing in an empty room right now, because what they'd really needed when they'd entered the room was just a sealed door. Harry glanced down at Fleur's face with a question in his eyes. "What setting do you think?"

Fleur was undecided for several seconds, until she had a visible eureka moment and smiled. "Let's create a hot spring bath house. They're good for you as well as relaxing."

After a moment spent with his eyes closed, Harry reopened them again and shrugged his shoulders. "Sorry Fleur. Could you do the honors?... I haven't been to Japan recently."

Dramatically rolling her eyes, Fleur adopted a comically ladylike and intolerant expression on her face. "Ah, that's right... I forgot that you're just an uncouth, English barbarian." After grinning at her own playacting, Fleur focused her thoughts on what they needed, and the room instantly morphed into a Japanese style hot spring inn. They were left standing on tatami mats and peering out a rice paper door, to a very nice looking rock carved bath. The water was releasing steam into the air, identifying it as both hot and ready to go.

When Harry started walking directly towards the bath, Fleur grabbed at his arm. "We're going to share the bath, so clean off the blood using a bucket and towel first."

In his surprise, Harry just stared at Fleur for a moment before smiling his most rakish smile (stolen from Sirius). Immediately after the look was accomplished however, the expression faltered, and Harry looked down at his feet. "I was… I was really freaking out just twenty-five minutes ago, Fleur... You're my entire world... Right now, I want you close by more than anything else. No pervy facial expressions or innuendo from me, just contact... Get me?"

Fleur could only nod her understanding. Harry's words weren't necessarily poetic, but she couldn't have done any better. For the moment, she just wanted to feel him safe and whole…

Harry Potter: Unleashed: Uncensored - The Night After The Goblet of Fire - Ch 16

Over the next half an hour, Harry and Fleur held each other tightly within the piping hot water of the hot spring, and while they were both naked and wildly attracted to each other, they mostly just spent the time finding comfort in each other. It was only after their fingers started getting clammy from water saturation that they both rose up and out of the hot-spring, magically dried themselves off, moved back into the little bedroom that Fleur had created, and then settled down atop the futon (a slim type of Japanese bed that rests on the floor) in the middle of the room.

At first Harry sat down cross legged near the pillows and gestured for Fleur to sit in front of him. Then he was reminded that Fleur was a Veela, when she sat down directly in his lap, and stared into his eyes.

Both Harry and Fleur knew what was coming next. They both ached for it, ached for each other.

"Love you, 'Arry… so much," Fleur breathed out as she positioned herself atop his lap.

Rather than answer with words that weren't coming easily, Harry immersed Fleur in his aura and really let her have it. He loved her, deeply and passionately, and she could feel it.

Then it happened. In a series of extremely intimate movements, both Harry and Fleur lost their virginity… and the split second that followed, both Harry and Fleur felt something rapidly coming into being deep within their bodies. They immediately looked into each other's eyes, in equal amounts of excitement and expectation. Harry dove forward, so that when it finally happened they'd be kissing each other. Their lips met, their tongues danced and then they were exploding together in a tidal wave of thoughts, feelings and impressions.

Oh Gods! Fleur didn't just love him, she was crazy about him and he could feel it! She lived for him, she would kill for him and oh Gods! Harry was aware of Fleur's pleasure almost as if it were his own and vice versa. They were both convulsing in/on/within each other, in a spiral of out of control sexual and spiritual ecstasy!

Harry's first time having sex was a uniquely brief affair, but only because he and Fleur Delacour created an extraordinarily powerful mated bond the very instant that they consummated their relationship. By the time they both came down from the apex of nearly maddening pleasure, there was another awareness there/here with him/within him. He checked his magic and...

Holy Gods.

Nodding her understanding, Fleur kissed her lover's neck, as she lay draped on top of/all over him. "Yes 'Arry. We are very, very much a mated pair… I should not even be able to see ze bond… and yet I can... Zis ees significant because I am nowhere near being a full-blooded Veela. You are making me stronger some-'ow. Our bond ees also several dozen times larger zan normal... I could feel your emotions before, so I 'ave 'ad practice. Eet ees eentense, no?"

"You're inside of me, Fleur," Harry gasped out, in a clearly overwhelmed and trembling voice. "I'll never have to be without you. You're here." Harry poked his chest. "I grew up isolated magically, feeling like I was the only thing that existed in the whole entire world. Now I have the love of my life taking up residence inside my soul. It's far far more than merely intense," Harry choked out, while breathing deeply and just trying not to hyperventilate.

"I once told you about life and contrast, yes," Fleur pointed out in a throaty little purr. "Deeper lows create 'igher 'ighs. I will be your 'appiness from now on, my 'Arry... my mate. From now on, I shall take excellent care of you, my love, mon amour, my 'Arry…"

Over the next couple of hours, Harry and Fleur made love a little less than a dozen times. It was always explosive and usually fairly brief, but it was always making love. Nothing wasn't making love anymore. Holding hands was now made intensely intimate because of the bond.

Later that night they both lay in a sweaty heap of limbs, both too tired to move. Fleur was wrapped around Harry's body with both her arms and her legs and it felt just perfect. Harry wandlessly summoned a blanket and Fleur sighed out the words "lady killer 'Arry, I told you so," causing him to laugh into her hair.

Harry had his aura out and was bathing Fleur in his feelings, which at this point was just icing on the cake for her. It was decadent for her because it felt like she was being loved both inside and out and Harry loved being able to do that for her. That's when he realized something and a wide smile grew across his face. "Fleur... I'll be able to wrap you up like this in public now..."

"But 'Arry, wouldn't I start to... oh... OH! 'Arry! My allure eesn't reacting against you anymore!" Fleur looked ecstatic.

"I imagine your Veela instincts have been trying to bed me since the very beginning and now that they've succeeded they're content." Harry wasn't joking in the slightest, regardless of how far fetched his theory sounded.

"Oui, yes, I can feel ze truth een your words, mon amour. Zis ees fantastic! I will 'enceforth be surrounded by your love for me at all times of ze day," Fleur demanded, mock haughtily.

"Done," Harry replied, while gently nibbling on Fleur's shoulder. "I missed magically rubbing up against you since the summer. Between that and the bond, we shall be very intimate at almost all times and nobody will even know."

"Our bond appears to never completely close, such as ze one my parent's 'ave. I am always deeply and profoundly connected to you, even when I am not trying. Eef we aren't careful, I fear we will experience some blurred lines." For a moment Fleur worried that her observation would hurt Harry's feelings, but then she noticed through the bond that he was aware of her thoughts and was unconcerned. Still... better safe than sorry. "I'm not complaining 'Arry, far from eet, but I zink zat we will start to take on each ozzer's traits to a certain extent, over time."

Harry nodded into Fleur's neck and tightened his arms around her body. "Due in part to the intensity of our bond, I can easily ride along your current thought process, and I have a far deeper understanding of what exactly you mean. I am not offended and I understand your point. To a certain extent, I will probably find myself adopting some of your thought processes, just as people in a close friendship end up sharing mannerisms. I'd worry that our personalities might blend together, except for the fact that we're both Occlumancers. I imagine you'll be able to maintain your core self and adopt only what attributes of mine you think are positive. I will do the same and we'll both grow stronger as people together. Now... I noticed something else that our close bond might allow us to share... You, Fleur… accessed my magic wile we were having sex, and I'm interested in seeing how that works. My hope is that you can siphon power off of my enormous reserves, so that you'll have a larger well of magic to cast with. It would be my pleasure to be used as your personal magical battery, my lady."

Fleur languidly sighed her satisfaction because Harry's Occlumency idea was both brilliant and flattering at exactly the same time. He truly believed that his character would have an opportunity to evolve through his bond with her. In fact, he was looking forward to it. His appreciation of her moral and psychological makeup was adorable and she found herself kissing him all over as a result. Following that, she suddenly sucked hard on Harry's neck for several moments, biting off a dark little hickey just above his collar bone. Then she empathically commanded Harry's magic not to heal the little wound and it pleased her when his body obeyed.

For the very first time since they'd started dating, Harry would have a nice lip shaped hickey the following day, causing Fleur to purr her approval into Harry's ear. "I 'ave already become eentimate wiz your 'ealing ability and circulating your magic eenside of YOUR body, mon amour... I 'ad not even zought to try accessing eet through ze bond een MY body. Eet ees somezing I am glad you brought up, for I would not 'ave liked to look like I am exploiting you."

"At this point, I'm extremely unlikely to misunderstand your motives, love." Harry grinned against Fleur's temple as he felt her reach the same conclusion and smile into his chest. "That's right Fleur. You're inside of me now... I can feel your intentions and your emotions. You love me for all of the right reasons, and I'd give you all of me in return. Do me a favor and pull on a little of my magic to see how it works. I'll aid you if necessary, but otherwise I'll just allow it to happen."

Fleur looked nervous for just a single second, but then she smiled. "I 'ave a good feeling about zis, 'Arry. Your magic loves me and I can feel eet."

Harry simply smiled and nodded his agreement

Over the next couple of seconds, Fleur started drifting along their link, where she felt Harry's magic embrace her as if begging her to make use of it. Then she beamed into her man's shoulder as she drew his magic along their now permanently opened bond.

The magic entered Fleur's body in trickles at first and for a second she wondered why. Then, she finally caught on, and her mouth suddenly felt a little dry at the ramifications. Harry's magic was dipping it's toes inside of her, making sure she wouldn't become hurt by its presence. Fleur smiled, as the magic began entering her in larger increments over time, careful to see what would happen. Turning to nuzzle her cheek against Harry's face, Fleur squeezed him like a teddy bear because even his magic was completely adorable. "Your magic ees taking excellent care of me, 'Arry. Eet ees exploring me as eef I'm made of glass."

Harry nodded and smiled at his mate in return. "I didn't consciously direct my magic to do that."

Fleur nodded and pulled the bulk of Harry's body on top of hers. She wanted the comfort of being held in place as she experienced herself being filled by his magic for the very first time. She also couldn't help pointing out something that she thought her mate was taking for granted. "Eet ees a part of you, but eef zere were ever proof zat magic 'as sentience, zan zis ees eet."

In his understanding, Harry had draped himself heavily over Fleur like a blanket. Now he was just luxuriating in the smell of his girlfriend's hair, as he drifted along in the bond. He decided he'd impart his next few thoughts empathically. With that in mind he conveyed the following words through the bond. "My magic's intentions are aligned with mine. I trust it despite its unpredictability and our lack of verbal communication."

Harry's empathic words had drawn Fleur deeper into the bond, which is why she felt the exact moment that it happened. Harry's magic suddenly determined that she was unharmed by it's presence, at which point it moved with a will of its own.

Instantly and thoroughly, Fleur experienced first-hand exactly how unpredictable Harry's magic really was, as it started filling her body at an extremely rapid rate. She gasped at the intensity of it all, as she quickly recouped her power losses from the earlier battle and then completely surpassed her max capacity. As the magic continued to fill her, Fleur felt her hair rise, goose-flesh appear on her skin and then the very air around her became charged with magical power. Fleur gasped yet again, as suddenly SHE was the one emitting Harry's aura shroud and she could sense all of the things around her, in an impossible to decipher mass of information!

When the synesthesia of it all started to overwhelm her, Fleur directed the magic to go back into Harry's body... The magic cooperatively slid back along the bond as if it was completely under her control. Then, she was left with just her own magic in her body, but with one notable difference.

Fleur felt absolutely fantastic!... It felt like she'd just awoken from the best night's sleep of her whole entire life! "Oh my Goddesses 'Arry... 'Ow do you get any sleep at all zese days?"

Harry laughed and nodded his head in understanding. "I actually didn't sleep for three days when I first unlocked my core's full potential. I didn't even realize it at the time because I was spending all of my time reading, meditating and then later I was in my Mindscape creating things. Later, I had such good control of my body because of the Mindscape I'd constructed, I became capable of just forcing my body to sleep whenever I direct it to. Unless I'm quite upset or aroused, I can just press the snooze button and I'm out like a light... I noticed something just now, Fleur. Once you were very full of my magic power, your core expanded briefly before you started leaking it into the air. I want you to repeat this process several dozen times a day until your core grows. I believe it'll improve your magical capacity several times faster than straining hard against large spells..."

After pushing Harry up by his shoulders until he was braced upon his elbows, Fleur just stared up at her brand new mate in wonder. He was breaking the process of becoming strong for her. He was making it as simple as... Hey Fleur, fill yourself to the brim with my magic a few times a day and you'll get stronger… Becoming strong was supposed to hurt and leave you drained, not feeling energized in the extreme.

Harry picked up on Fleur's feelings and beamed down at her completely adorable expression. "Fleur I need you to be a force of nature so that we can smite our enemies. If you can release my magic out by filling yourself over capacity then you can shield yourself from outside influences." At the tail end of that thought, Harry snapped his fingers and looked extremely pleased with himself. "Guess what Fleur?"

At first, Fleur just arched an eyebrow at Harrry. Then she smiled mischievously as she began rooting through his mind through the bond. She would never again have to suffer Harry's rather mysterious nature.

"Okay, okay, I get it, please allow me to enjoy the big reveal," Harry pleaded, while laughing. "My magic doesn't have your elemental affinity, Fleur... You can cast major spells underwater while using it!"

For several moments in a row, nothing happened. Harry waited patiently, as his girlfriend digested all of the facts that he'd just dropped on her like a tsunami wave. Then it happened... Harry was suddenly thrown onto his back, straddled, and held onto so tightly that he could hardly breathe. A mass amount of very salty kisses began peppering his face and neck as Fleur's excitement grew beyond her ability to control and she was completely overwhelmed.

Fleur was being reduced to overjoyed tears, again! Gods… It had been such a long day... First the piano piece, the Goblet, Harry's sexy stand against the Headmasters, the attack, Harry's completely selfless intervention, the getaway, completing the most incredible bond ever seen on the face of the planet, and now she would be better able to protect herself because of her mate... Impossible didn't even begin to describe Harry Potter. Fleur projected all of her feelings through the bond, almost as revenge for making her feel all of these things with such intensity. She bombarded Harry with her desperate love for him.

And then she moved to show him how she felt in a much more… physical… fashion.

Harry Potter didn't get much sleep at all that night, but he wouldn't have changed a thing…

End of Edited Scene

The next morning, Harry strolled back into the Gryffindor dormitory, only to find himself the target of three knowing grins and one openly furious scowl.

"What?" While Harry was aiming for deadpan when he asked the question, he might have leaked a little bit of smile in there somewhere.

Neville, Seamus and Dean looked at Harry as if he was crazy, while Ron continued to sneer at him.

"Forget telling these three then," Neville immediately offered. "I want to know everything! You look completely awful in the best ways possible! Don't even try to deny it Harry. You're covered head to toe in lipstick, scratches and hickeys." Neville crossed his arms as if the argument was long over, and he'd won it.

At Neville's words, Ron snarled out a strangled fit of impotent rage, threw his pajamas hard into the laundry hamper and then stormed out of the room.

Seamus and Dean on the other hand, looked at Neville with twin looks of genuinely shocked betrayal. Dean was in rough shape, as if the world was burning to the ground all around him. Seamus didn't even bother hiding the desperation from his features as he dropped to his knees. "Harry... If you never do anything else for me for the rest of your life that's fine, but please tell me how it went with Fleur last night... Please!"

After staring at his over the top interested dorm mates for a few more seconds, Harry sat down on his bed. He didn't really want to divulge information about his love life, but he had something he wanted Dean and Seamus to take seriously, and he knew exactly how to hook them... "I might say a few things if you keep something in mind first."

With no hesitation, Harry's dorm-mates nodded quickly and emphatically.

"Fleur and I will more than likely end up married at some point. She is in no way, shape or form, easy to have or an object of lust. Get me?" Harry gave both Dean and Seamus very pointed looks because they were clearly looking for fapp material.

Neville looked insulted for a second or two until he saw the looks on the other two boys' faces and he shook his head in disappointment. "Harry, I knew that. I just wanted to know good, bad, or indifferent, how it worked because I'm a virgin."

In the end, Neville quite bravely admitted the taboo fact as if he was describing the weather outside before continuing with, "I'd appreciate some honest experience."

Seamus and Dean both looked over at Neville in a mixture of shock and awe. What he'd just admitted they all had in common, but would never have admitted so candidly. Neville was, ironically, a real man about it.

"You know Neville..." Harry crossed his arms and leaned back against his bed's headboard. "I'm really pleased with how you're coming along these days. You used to be so shy and now you're all confident and self-assured. I feel like a proud parent."

"Stop stalling Harry!" Neville demanded while shaking his head and laughing.

Harry smiled and laughed in return. "I don't suppose you guys would be surprised to hear I didn't last very long the first time... or even the second time..." he grinned.

The boys smiled but they didn't laugh. They all knew that Harry was being honest right now and it was a good opportunity.

From there on, Harry explained a generic encounter with a woman, leaving out how completely out of control different his experience with Fleur actually was. He did say several movements that were good and sensitive spots that he'd found. Hell, what he told them might even end up being useful, considering that with an empathic bond Harry could figure out in real time what feels good and what doesn't on Fleur's body... It was an unfair leg up that he had over literally every man out there, so Harry figured he was going to get very, very good at pleasing his mate...

Finally, Harry got to the point where Harry hooked the two boys...

"Neville you won't have any trouble with your first time," Harry said, with absolute confidence in his voice.

"Why so sure?" Neville had an eyebrow quirked at Harry's latest bold statement.

"Because you have Occlumency control over your body," Harry replied, as if that answered everything.

Neville brightened and then put his hand to his chin, looking at the ceiling. "That will help, I agree."

"Occlumency?" Seamus and Dean asked the question simultaneously, as they suddenly had a burning desire to understand the trick.

Without missing a beat, Harry handed the two boys six books about Occlumency and then pointed at Neville. "You both witnessed Neville become something really impressive this year yah?"

Both Seamus and Dean nodded in agreement because unlike Ron, these two didn't have jealousy hang-ups.

Neville looked a little bashful at first, but then he smiled happily.

"Neville mastered his mind, his memories and his emotions, and then evolved as a person, using Occlumency." Harry pointed at the books in the two boys' hands, even as he continued his explanation. "These books will teach you how to train your mind, but it's hard and sometimes painful to do. If you do start learning Occlumency, I don't want you to give up just because it's hard. Building your Occlumency will make you better people. It'll allow you to control your emotions and to a certain extent even your physical reactions to pain or... pleasure... I don't want you to do it just because you think it'll improve your performance in bed, even if it will."

At this point, both Seamus and Dean looked a little nervous, but then they looked at Neville and visibly gathered some determination. They took the books back to their beds and decided to spend the remaining Hogsmeade weekend reading them.

Over the next ten minutes, Harry and Neville finished showering and then walked down to the common room together. Halfway down the stairs, Neville suddenly stopped, turned to Harry and patted him on the shoulder. "What you just did for Seamus and Dean will change their lives, and I know that was your intention."

At first, Harry just shrugged, but then a smile slowly started to leak out. "Do you think it'll work?"

"You found perhaps the one thing that'll motivate them, Harry and it was ingenious. However... As soon as I get you to the RoR for our workout, I want to hear the real experience with Fleur... Not the watered down sex-ed that we just received."

Laughing in enjoyment, Harry tipped an imaginary hat at the newly perceptive boy. "I'll try, but it was quite a bit more than my feeble brain can even put into words."

"That good huh?" Neville sounded as if he'd enjoy hearing Harry fail to explain the extraordinary.

"Better," Harry admitted, as they joined Hermione in the common room.

Hermione took one look at Harry and then laughed loudly at how he was leaking joy out of his extremely Occluded brain.
